Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I'm trying to set up some custom views in the C172. I know how to set the views the trouble is moving the camera up and down. I'm using the default up and down arrow keys but when pressed they jump up or down too far. How can I get a finer movement up or down so I can set the custom camera to the exact position I'm looking for. Secondly, are these custom views aircraft specific, can I set Alt -1 as the C172 radio stack, then in the Airbus and set Alt -1 as the overhead panel - is this possible.

I thought the question was asked a million times but I couldn't find any trace on the forum. The problem I have is about landing with crosswind, even when the wind speed is low, very low. I noticed that when I do a proper approach, with low speed wind that don't need a crab final approach, the aircraft has a strong trend to turn as soon as the wheels touch the runway, causing a succession of turns to maintain the runway centerline. I know the effect of crosswind on the aircraft. When taxiing, I know the torque pushes the aircraft to turn, but the crosswind also causes a turn by hitting the tail, pushing the aircraft to turn in the wind direction. But when landing, th…

Hey everyone, I just received my RTX 3070 Gpu, and what an improvement in comparaison to my gtx 1080, So I did a few test flight with the Cessna 152, I put everything in ultra, all sliders to the right except render scaling, I leave hate one a 100 as I am on 3 1080p monitors, Over small airport and city I have a solid 35/40fps at sunset with a lot of clouds, Did a try over Miami and here I dropped to 17FPS at the airport and 23fps over the city, When I have a look a the devs console it says "limited by main thread" which I guess mean my CPU or at least a core of this one Would that mean I should take my wallet again and buy the new cpu …

I am hoping that someone can help with this issue. The Bonanza does not always show up when starting the FS 2020. I have it in the community folder - Bonanza-Turbo-V2 - and in the content manager as follows; Asobo Bonanza G36 0.1.54. up to date 484.19 MIB ..and ... Asobo / R.Young Bonanza 1.10 Custom Content 3.34 MIB The aircraft line up totals 30 but the Bonanza is not among them. Conversely a few days ago it showed up in all its glory much to my delight since it is one of the planes that I had working well in the sim. But it disappeared again after one day. Hello, Maybe you can help me? Some days ago MSFS stopped working (black screen after start application). After some tryings to repair I have decided to completely reinstall it (with cleaning up the PACKAGES and the CACHE folder). After reinstallation I have only two planes. Do you know what can be the reason of this strange behavior? How I can recover full game?

I just returned to FS after a 20 year break! I had a few flights to start that went ok but now...every flight results in an unexplained power/RPM drop after 5 minutes or less of flying. I take off planning to to do touch and goes but before I complete 1/2 a circuit of the pattern the RPMs drop to idle and after another minutes or two the engine quits completely. No warning, no reason or any action on my part. I suspect that some setting has gotten changed that I am not aware of but I have no idea were to look. Can anyone give me a clue as to what has happened?

Hi, I'm using the FBW A320 Mod and I want to assign the Engine start switch 1 and 2 to my Joystick. But it's not working. Is it a bug? thanks

An updated Mod for the excellent Diamond DA62 has been released at the MS Forums and Flightsim.to. It seems today's release is just an update from previous versions. Never tried this Mod before, after I read it caused CTD's to some. This is another example of the existing talents that are capable of correcting the main issues on mainly all MSFS default aircraft. https://flightsim.to/file/2733/da62x-project Looks to me that a similar project was announced days ago by Robert Young and if it's true, maybe the way to go is to wait for Robert's work, who has always produced very reliable Mods, as the one he did for the Bonanza-Turbo. With the XCub mod whenever I engage the AP mode ALT, regardless of whether it is sync'd to current altitude, the aircraft immediately dives nearly vertically towards the earth. Anyone else having this issue?

Hey, i have two simulators, FS2020 and P3D4.5. I live in Finland and usually fly on simulators in Finland, the Nordic countries or Europe. I very much hope that the following improvements will be made to the FS2020 simulator: 1. The terrain mesh is of very poor quality in Finland. The flat landscape has lots of unreal hills and dents. The roads are full of hills that don’t really exist. The same poor quality troubles the mesh e.g. In the mountainous regions of southern Europe. I hope MS / Asobo renews the mesh so that the accuracy is 10 meters everywhere. My P3D4.5 simulator has a 10 meter accurate mesh in Europe, Norway and…

Say you turn on airplane mode of wifi. Can you now bipass the update screen and proceed to the sim if there is an update available?

Or rather how its not showing up correctly in MSFS 2020. I live in Ft Lauderdale and pretty much its been raining and very gusty all day. I just did a flight from KFLL to MKJS and there was not a drop of rain water to be found!. Cloud cover was overcast as expected and i didn't break out of the soup till FL390 which i think is pretty decent but id like to know Where is the rain action. Please, I installed the newest drivers/Firmware for the TCA Airbus. But with the stock Airbus in FS2020 for me only the throttels and reversers are working fine. How do we get working the Eng 1/2 selector knobs? How do we get working the selector knob back to normal from crank or ignition? Why did Thrustmaster sell a hardware without the corresponding setting-software? Does it evtl. work with registred version of FSUIPC7? Thanks Peter

How did you guys manage to fix the crash issue when loading up MSFS? Mine keeps crashing after I load up to the runway. I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick connected and I think that is causing the issue. I had never had MSFS crash before, and this just happened after I plugged in the joystick.

It's happened a couple of times now when I am flying southwest out of EDDM in some gorgeous Bavarian scenery when VRAM might be hovering around 6Gb, CPU 50% utilization, GPU 70% then rather steadily I start seeing frame rates drop from the vsync'd 30 down to 8fps, 12fps, 5fps and back up to 27 etc, and it doesn't want to recover. I saved this flight, restarted MSFS and loaded the flight, and all was well for maybe 2 minutes, then the same behavior ensued. I tested my internet bandwidth and it was around 180mbps so no issues w/ bandwidth per se. Is this the MS server and just can't keep up presumably? It's not happened much before but has on occasion.
