I have tried everything I can think of to remedy my problem but I have failed. Here is the issue No matter what plane I am in my flight plans load fine however once I jump in the plane and engage AP and engage NAV the plane always turns to heading of 355. On the G1000 the flight plan looks right but the plane no matter what goes to that HDG of 355. I am dumb founded what it might be. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance Kungfoogrip

I guess this post is realy aimed at Robert Young. But I was wondering if the fantastic Beechcraft Duke B60 v2 can be converted for MSFS 2020. Or are there any plans to add this in the future. Many thanks for all your past and present aircraft. Paul

That one was difficult to master... Took a lot of time, but I think I finally got it properly figured out. In the end I have actually modeled and rendered different interiors in full 3D in Blender, matching correct perspective of the MSFS SDK sample. Then converted it to flat image and edited in Photoshop, created front transparent image for tinted windows with occasional blinds, then created several materials to combine it, plus some creative UV mapping and voila! Looks just like a modelled 3D interior when moving. Amazing! I’m trying out Navigraph... the charts app on my iPad is excellent. What I’m not sure about is the Nav data in the sim. Here’s why... I planned a flight in SimBrief (using my Navigraph data). I updated MSFS with my Navigraph data. So everything should be using the same Nav data. I loaded up the sim, imported the flight plan (looked correct), changed my starting point to a parking spot (to start cold) and took out the arrival runway as I always do to get it assigned by ATC on approach. In the past 24 hours, I have come upon a problem with ALL aircraft shutting down engine(s), it;s happening with Jets, Turbo Props, Twins and Single Engines. I have not made any MOD changes in the past few weeks, the only change has been iinstalling a new 32" BenQ Monitor and made change in Graphics settings to accept the new monitor. Any help appreciated PDR

I am asking if anyone knows where the sims startup sound files are located? I am hoping to change the background music that plays. Not really complaining, but, I'd like something other than the monotonous music they give us to choose from. ;-)

I don't get it the Mooney flies fine but the PA44 is just one frustrating flight after another. I'm about to shelve or delete it. When I take off the plane noses down I immediately have to put on a huge amount of trim every takeoff. And the autopilot is a suicide machine. Sometimes it grabs the NAV line but usually not. When it does grab the NAV line if I hit ALT hold it dives to the ground half of the time. I'm not a happy camper. I moved half of my addon's out of the community folder to see if that helped not yet I guess I'll move the rest out. The plane is unflyable on my system. 😪

i couldnt see anything around on this, but every now and then a button or keyprerss results in all engines shutting down. I cant say what key or switch becuase its random. Well, I have just flown x-plane's Rotate MD 80 from CYQQ to CYXX and then I tried to repeat the flight in the Boeing 787 in MS2020. Wow, I sure feel sorry for the passengers in the 787. The climb out under FMS control varied from a 9000 ft climb at 120KT to a dive at 2000ft with speeds up to 300Kts. We sort of got to the cruise altitude which was supposed to be 17000 but continued the wild variation of 5000ft climbs followed by -8000ft dives. Things got exciting as we tried to set up and fly the approach to RW 07 at CYXX. This is a very minor thing but I stlil manage to get annoyed by it, every 5 minutes or so I get a little spinning circle in the bottom right corner as if it's "saving" something. What does it really mean and can I get rid of it?

I am used to the old way in other sims to download and install an addon. However, with MSFS, it seems like mods get updated very fast and can be found from a number of places. Take the dev mod on the A320 for example. They have an installer, which makes it easy to check for the latest release, but how am I supposed to do it for scenery? Do I have to go to where i grabbed it and manually look for an update or is there something like an installer that can search all of my mods in my community folder and automatically check for updates?

Anyone seen this problem? Specifically in the C208B the screen displays have now got blank sections on the left side of the bezel, instead of the usual buttons - for example the central one has no AP buttons. This happened when the sim was running, but I don't remember anything unusual going on at the time. I have tried it without the C208 & Working Title mods I was using, and re-booted the PC, but problem persists. It is working fine in other planes, for example the Baron and the C172. Pic attached for info. Not done a re-install but maybe that is needed? Any help will be much appreciated.

New to FS2020 Have done some GA flights and someone in a forum suggested the use of a controller for cameras, etc., not having used one before was wondering if anyone can recommend a good one preferably USB. Have never used them before. Thank you

I've been trying the 787 and seeing a few issues...curious if others have seen the same/have any suggestions. On a flight from KJFK to EGLL... 1. I choose gate 1002-heavy, and it parked me facing away from the terminal (this may be JFK and not the 787). 2. Somehow, it automatically requested pushback after a few min of me in the cockpit - I restarted a few times, and it kept happening. Co-pilot would call a request pushback (even though I didn't actually prompt it to do so). 3. On this flight, when selecting "plan" on the MFD and cycling through the route, it wouldn't move/show me the whole route on screen. 4. It could be my piloting skills, but t…

So maybe I overlooked a setting but how do you stop the plane from shaking all over the place. It seems like some planes are worse then others. To be clear I always felt aircraft in P3D were on-rails so to speak, but in FS2020 I have the wind at zero and the water is calm, but I can barley keep the plane flying straight. Having several real flight hours in several different aircraft I know to some degree the plane will do this but not a full on storm every flight... Any ideas to fix this... or is this normal?

I've had this problem often lately when I click on Content Manager and Marketplace all I get are dark screens. They won't load. I occasionally get them to load I was able to purchase the PA44 last night but it went right back to dark screens. I can't check if the Mooney has been updated blah.... Anyone know the cause? I've rebooted my computer still no joy.

It has been sitting here for more than 15 minutes already... I don't recall it taking this long. I'm not sure if this just happened after the latest 1.9.5.0 update or what but I don't ever recall this happening before.

Whilst this sim is fantastic eye candy, flying around the south coast of England gets a bit disappointing when reaching the south coast. The famous white cliffs of Dover, and similarly the cliffs around Beach Head, East Sussex, are all a bit messed up and very un-cliff like, because of the scenery mesh. I'd like to hope that MSFS could include an update which improves this, perhaps as part of their planned World Update : Europe or UK. Is there a way I can let them know about this?

Has just been announced for MSFS and Xplane. It should be released within one week from this announcement. I cannot wait.

I know a lot of you guys are struggling with stutters, even when you have high FPS. On my system I recently had made some changes and started getting stutters again, but I was able to restore a few settings and get back to stutter free simming. Now this doesn't mean you will have no stutters everywhere, for example when you take off or go into heavy cities, but I am able to get really good smoothness with my modest rig (see signature) so I wanted to share my settings. Running lean I shut down everything I have running, including MalWareBytes, browser windows, email, etc. Process Lasso 1. Priority Class > Always > High. 2. CPU Affinity > Alway…
