Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello, Im not sure and also confused, sorry for asking this question, is there liveries for the stable Flybywire A320?? I have looked around but dont know. There is variuos livery packs but some say A320neo other say A320nx or Flybywire A320nx. Can someone please help. Thanx for anyone clearing it for me......and if the livery pack work on FlybyWire project. thnx for any help suggestion....

Hi folks, I have a short question to real pilots: During take off and after landing I have to push the joystick in the FBW Airbus forward to keep the aircraft on the ground and to be able to stabilize the aircraft by using the pedals. Does it work that way in real life, too? Thanks for your answers. Ingo

Hello, I'm new here, so forgive me if i post this in the wrong section. Since the last update (it was 1021mb and a bit) My T-flight Hotas 4 is only working in internal view. When i switch over to external view i can't steer or do anything with the plane. Is there something i do wrong and are there more people with the same problem? Hope you can help me as in this moment i can't use the game. Thanks in advance!

Is it just me, or do others have a crazy amount of time trying to fly this aircraft. It's got a mind of its own and I'm along for the roller coaster of a ride, until it crashes. I've figured out how to use the two Boeing airliners, but the NEO has me stumped. Every time I think I have something figured out, no, it continues to do its own thing.

So, in UserCfg.opt there is a setting called secondary scaling. Any one know what that actually does ?

This was discussed earlier in January but I did not see any answers to the problem. I am NOT using Live Weather and have never done so. Why is it so dark at noon in mid-July in Florida (KPGD at 35' above Sea Level)? Clouds are set to Overcast - when set to Broken or Few the runway is so bright I need sunglasses but Overcast it looks like night time. Why can I not tune ATIS when sitting on runway after being cleared for takeoff by ATC? There are no options below the ATC log to allow me to tune any thing. Hi all, Currently I am setting up the viewpoint for the left seat for my Prosim 737 on a 2 display front view. To get a correct eyepoint I had to set the view 36 degrees to the left and the eyepoint a little to the right. That looks good like it did in FSX and P3D. That I did in the cameras.cfg file from the aircraft. Turning the viewpoint left or right however shows the issue that the horizon banks up at the right when taking off. Only with the eyepoint exactly in the middle of both displays shows a ‘normal’ level horizon. To test like I did in P3D I need Slew in the VC mode and then the F1-F8 keys. And the arrow keys. I know this must be written somewhere but I have been googling this question for two hours with no luck. Years ago folks were told to avoid putting the sim ( P3D or FSX) on the Program files (x286) directory to avoid the permissions issues making life difficult. I always used that directory anyway, without much difficulty. I am getting ready to install MS 2020 on a brand new PC, 500GB harddrive. Should it install on the 😄 Program files( X 286) directory, or just 😄 Program Files, or none of the above?

People will never be happy but it shows the old and the new and what they have added etc. Personly I think what there doing with wind over land, sea, hills, and Mountains is amazing. Its work in progress so..... and there happy to keep working on it, what more could we ask for?

After updating the FS2020 sim, I'm very unhappy with the graphics on the strip. Buildings kook generic and have no signs or details on them, FSX looks better than this! Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks

Thought I will give MSF a try again by flying some bush trip challenges. It did all the updates but I get a CTD when I try to load the flight. I thought this problem was solved a long time ago or am I missing something I have to download.

Hello, I don’t know if this is a controller issue, a software assignment issue or a coding issue within MSFS. With that said, when I use my trim buttons on my controller (thrust master warthog HOTAS....oh and I use the big grey button that is labeled for trim) there is about a half second delay before the trim wheel moves in the airplane within the sim. This always results in a feeling of the airplane never being in trim or when I try to do precise trimming by small button presses, nothing actually happens. I have the sim running okay and downloaded the Alaska Bush Trip challenge. All seemed fine till I went to run it and it gets to the point showing the legs of the trip on screen and I click to load it and it gets to about I'd say 75% and then MSFS shuts down. Tried to restart computer and sim, shows update screen as usual but nothing gets updated. Same issue. Also downloaded the World Update USA file and have downloaded most of the minus a couple cities. The file that is the USA Points of Interest I've tried to download 3 times now and it gets to where it shows on the progress bar that its finished except it shows an error and on the info tab it says I need Game version 1.…

Is there a set of instructions anywhere on how to use the Garmin? I've been trying to figure it out for myself, but could do with a manual or maybe a video or something.

I am having a lot of fun with the F15. It really is a solid flyer. And I bet in a few weeks and a few updates it will satisfy most critics here. In the mean time I am having a great time flying it around. ILS even works fine. Here is a video showing how I use 4 screens for a really immersive feel (for me at least) The lower 4th screen is using instruments from AirManager and they all work for tuning radios etc with the Knobster, no mousing around needed. I still have to customize this instrument setup. It is just the one I made for the M339, but it works for now. I know the a320, I often "piloted" on a321 toliss on xp11. on fs2020, I use the a320neo, the "A32NX" plugin is well installed. The problem with this version of fs2020 is that the altitude of the flight plan is not taken into account. Immediately after take-off, the aircraft remains at the altitude specified in the FCU by default -> 5000 feet. If I specify a constraint in the FMC, it is not taken into account either (I did press the CSTR button) If I switch to "selected" mode, the aircraft responds immediately (normal) In fact after several tests, I realized that the altitude specified in the FCU is taken into account as soon as a point on the route is reach…

Folks, maybe here I can get any answer. Just got the quadrant. Downloaded the drivers from the Thrustmaster support page. Installed. Plugged the quadrant in. Everything worked nicely. Didn't need to play around with the settings. Just adjusted the dead zone. But I noticed that when I turn the engine lever on, then on turning the speed or heading bug the values change each 10 (150,160,170 etc). When I run the engine with the mouse in the cockpit, then everything work ok. Any advice how to fix that? Or there should new drivers to come over?

Curious what you folks thoughts are on the available packages that add cabin/crew sounds and functions to MSFS. I've found Self Loading Cargo, PACX, and FS Cabin Crew, but no idea what the quality is for those. Anyone try those or something else?

Not sure this is the correct place to post this but... I installed the latest Ver. 3.4 of the working title g1000 today. I am unable to adjust the screen lighting. This is true of all the airplanes that use the G1000. Everything else seems fine. Any guidance on how to fix would be appreciated. I figured it out.. I have UWA lights installed, and they need to be above the WT G1000 mod. At least with the ver. I have.
