Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I've been trying to update Bonn for the last three days. It starts out at speeds of 30 to 90mbs then at around 90% download speed drops slowly to zero. Then I get the download error. Anyone else?

Fly to MGGT and land on runway 02. This is Guatemala City. I have flown pretty much everywhere and I think this is the best approach/landing in the simulator that can handle an airliner. Expect to see some seriously stereotyped volcanoes (the typical cone shape) and the terrain looks like it has fractured and collapsed. The densely packed city just before the runway threshold is very distracting when landing. Give it a go and if you know somewhere that beats this let me know!

Might have been posted before. Just look at the beautiful interior starting at 0:0:14. If someone were to model this for the Longitude, spruce up the avionics, I wouldn't stop flying this plane.

Still converting fsx model to MSFS ai traffic, but it works!!! great EDDF airport, with realtraffic and PSXT. I hope you like it.

Hello, We cannot fly in our real world with real planes over some cities. Example : La Mecque, Saudi Arabia and it's Kaaba ! But we can fly over those places with Fs 2020. Here is an example of what I did ( and here is my flight plan) As we can find MANY pictures of La Mecque, using Google, do you think we can publish those videos showing those cities ? If NO, I will un publish this video, but will keep it ! I do not want to be outlaw !

So I made up a few cache files for certain areas near me where I want to fly. Had cached areas set to high. All was fine and then shut off the online stuff and flew that area. It was very poor and I had my settings set to ultra. It was much better and more detailed flying with online turned on and setting set on high. What happened to the cache file that was supposed to be high detail. I did activate the cache file in the sim. Am I doing something wrong.

Hi all, Carenado mr20 is actually an awesome aircraft. It annoys me the rear seat passengers do not show however. Anyone know a way to fix this?

Today i made a vor dme apprpach at Narita runway 16R. The chart is given blow. An issue is that the VOR intervention was too early,when i flew over LAKES,the plane started making a turn towards runway.In that case, i had to use HDG until i reached KONAN.When using ILS , i can simply turn off APPR or LOC to prohibit this. But in this case, it seems that i could not choose. Sorry for my bad English.

Hello everybody. I have had a problem for a while now I want to fly from Agadir I am looking at the metar currently at GMAD and there is 010700Z 19003KT 200 FG OVC001 Except that in the game I have perfect visibility! CAVOK I tried everything enabled / Disabled online weather I also tried unreal-weather-live-metar! Nothing done, I have a CAVOK sky while in real life we are far from having perfect visibility .... Do you know where the problem could come from? thank you

So I flew yesterday, no problems at all and I fired up the simulator about an hour ago and everything has been set to default, including all my joystick settings, its like a complete new fresh install has been done remotely....I am so annoyed and frustrated...anybody experienced this??? Even the mods I had installed have disappeared completely from the community folder.....I am totally bloody baffled... Normally you would get this info from ATIS. But since I shut-off the built-in ATC, how can I find this information out? Does the built-in ATC give you accurate departing and arrival runways based on the real world weather in the sim?

Sometimes in Working Title A320 Neo (Latest Dev mod) in Climb Mode the Rate of Climb and visual on aircraft show a climb,but altitude readout on Primary Flight Display does not show altitude increasing. Anyone else seen this ? Dave Hinson

I can't see my Twin engine from Coronado any more. I saw an update for it which I thought I downloaded within the MSFS. But I don't see it any more. But its in my downloaded list. I tried deleting it. so I can redownload. But It doesn't remove it from the list either. Any idea how I can solve this issue?

Mods / Admin: I would remove the BijanStudio post that includes a redacted sales receipt containing PII as it may be a breach of GDPR and/or appears to be of PCI-DSS. I'm not jumping into 'compliance mode' to determine that for you but on the surface it appears to be a breach which being published by avsim could be troublesome. Bijan should know better than to post customer PII but obviously does not however his ignorance could possibly result in 'splash damage' to avsim. Not well GDPR versed but PCI and HIPAA which if applied would indicate an issue. Hopefully this prevents any further damage by BS bs posts.

I've read all of the complaints about London City issues and they seemed warranted for sure. I had purchased Orcas as I had it before and it was good value for previous owner. Now, I just purchased KSBA through Orbx Central, as a previous owner, again great price. I loaded up a flight there and literally spent the first 45 minutes, "walking around" with the showcase drone. The detail, sounds, look and feel is outstanding. Whether you have it for a previous version or this would be a new purchase, I highly recommend!

You have all been very helpful to me in the past and I thank you. I have another question. I bought and installed an 1TB SSD Hard Drive that I figued I would just put MSFS on that, for the sake of speed. But its such a large hard drive I would still have about 850GB of free space left. So after reading around, I see that I could move Windows 10 over to the new SSD card, which everyone says speeds up boot time and helps other programs run quicker also. Sounds like a good idea. However, I only want to move Windows to the new drive for now. I DO NOT WANT TO CLONE MY ENTIRE HDD DRIVE. I want to leave my files and all installed programs in the HDD drive for now. Is th…

Hello Where is the latest MOD everyone is talking about with the Printer Feature and EFB mounted but not functional yet. On GitHub the stable version is 0.5.2 from January 9th. Also, does everybody experience the hard bouncing on TD of the Airbus? I tried with AP and without and it always bounces two times until it slows down to a manageable speed. When parked at the main terminal my frames go down to the bottom. When taxing away the frames rockets up. Anyone else have this? This is one of the premium airports by asobo.

I know the initial release was far from universally loved on here, for some valid reasons, but I do hope the next update will help a lot.
