Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, I have been experiencing this strange behavior. Every time, when I do a flight from EDDL to EDDK. Approximately, 10 min after takeoff, there is a lot of moisture condensed on the windshield. What is even worse is that the aircraft begins to descend even the throttle is at 100%. Anyone has similar experiences? KK

Had a flight using a SID with multiple altitude constraints programmed in FMS. Aircraft did not level at constraints, but just blew through to the intermediate altitude. I believe I followed all the steps to engage VNAV properly according to WT instructions. Is not this functioning ? Dave Hinson

Hi, Does anyone know if the next MSFS update will have a key to open the doors of smaller aircraft? I still don't understand why they removed the "E" key that opened the doors of all aircraft !!! thank you

Question for all of you: Why is Microsoft offering DVD versions of MS2020 ONLY to Europe BUT is offering ONLY download to America?? Do not want to spend 4 hours downloading!! I want to buy DVD version!! Regards, Aharon

I’ve been flying around mountainous areas and there’s a noticeable horizontal line that’s where the horizon would be. It’s obnoxious. I recall seeing someone else complain about this last week. Has anyone got any further insights? it will only be visible if there’s higher terrain as the SIM is rendering it at where the horizon would be at infinity. It goes away when the terrain is flat or water out to the horizon. I’ll try to post a photo tomorrow.

Hi. Can anyone clarify the connection between X-Box Game Pass and FS2020? Do I have to open Game Pass first and start FS from there? Thanks in advance. Dave

Not sure if this problem is with the FBW A320, but whenever I switch back to the main default pilot view, there always seems to be 2 different angles to that specific camera. I have my main pilot camera binded to NUMPAD+0. So whenever I hit NUMPAD+0 it goes back to my pilot view but if I hit it again, it'll show a weird angle and it's difficult to go back to my default angle. Not sure what's causing this behavior but it's quite annoying.

Being new to MSFS I am having difficulty with stutters. With p3d and setting my monitor to 30hz I have an extremely smooth experience. But I am having difficulty finding this smoothness with MSFS. No matter what refresh rate I set or in game settings I get stutters. What is everyone’s experience with this issue?

I run FS 2020 for some weeks now. But I installed Windows 10 again, (because of other driver problems) and downloaded (104GB) and reinstalled FS2020 Steam version again. It worked. But I noticed I could only fly 2 piston planes, and in the marketplace I only saw planes to buy, not the other Premium Pack planes I was used to see. But then I closed FS2020, and later started it again... and now it is downloading 104 GB or so again?? Is this normal?

I just saw that Pilot's released KCDK for MSFS for the price of 14.95EU. Are they out of their minds? There's a freeware out there that's good enough. No thank you.

It looks like this wait for the World Update 3 (the UK) is going to be about 10 days late. And Sim Update 3 is scheduled for March 4 and it will probably also be late. So the great G1000/G3000 autopilot fix from Asobo should be coming around March 15!

Hello! Is it me or my ground textures looks VERY bad/blurry from 21,000ft? Most of my settings are HIGH/ULTRA.

Does anyone know what the cause of this is?

I believe the new MSFS2020 sim has created a big havoc in PMDG's development roadmap that was very much a development roadmap based on P3D as the flightsim platform. How will they now move forward? Luckily they haven't invested much in XPLANE11. Alternatives ahead: 1. No changes. Stick to P3D. Why when the majority of simmers will move to MSFS2020? 2. Split the dev team to go for both MSFS2020 and P3D. Costly, but the safest route. 3. Move all resources to MSFS2020, but support P3D until the next main release V5. Not tha…

The latest Beta I just tried has flaps gear and spoilers working in replay. You can also save different recordings. And play them back from any view or in any WX condition you like. I don't work for George, but wrote to him and asked for a few improvements and he has now added them. He is adding more as time goes on as well. So I'm flying along happily tonight, cruising southeast from Split to Dubrovnik in Croatia, over water, well clear of terrain (though there were cliffs a few miles to my left). Keeping my hand on the yoke, I turn away from the screen for a minute to pet my cat who is in his usual place in a chair beside me. I looked back at the screen to see a wall of green in front of me and could barely get oh word not allowed out of my mouth before I impacted the ground a split second later. There you go, CFIT due to cat distraction, and now I have no way to figure out what I crashed into! I'm guessing a slow turn left into a cliff but now it will be a mystery forever without a rep…

I have only been flying the C 172 G 1000. It seems like on every flight a new bug crops up. Today on the second flight, the altimeter on the PFD freezes at 1100 feet and won't move, yet the analog altimeter shows I am climbing to 6000 feet and climbing normally. Lucky there are a few steam gauges on this aircraft. Just noticed, that not only the altimeter is frozen, all the gauges on the PFD are frozen, airspeed, climb rate, waypoints, etc..etc... I am thinking about returning to the 172 steam gauge version.
