Not sure if this was done before, but here we go, in order of preference (and biased towards Europe): 1) Eastern Europe, including photogrammetry for cities like Vienna, Salzburg, Graz, Prague, Budapest, Belgrade, etc 2) Adriatic coast and Greece 3) The Netherlands 4) More of Germany and France 5) More of Canada Love to see updates on South America, Carribean, Middle East, Africa, all of it, but this is the top 5.

I thought the world updates would be entire regions, and I thought the next world update is suppose to cover Europe but it's only UK only? So does this mean world updates will be for individual countries only and not entire regions, ie Asia, Europe, North America, Central America, Oceania, South America, etc?

I cannot get my Thrustmaster Airbus Throttle Quadrant to work. I have gone thru the firmware update OK and then the run thru setup as per video: https://youtu.be/jVI6fy5wzn0 but to no avail. It is always out of whack. When I first touch the quadrant it goes into reverse thrust showing positions 12 and 16 on the Thruster Flight Control Panel but according to the manual 12 and 16 should be idle. When I put levers into idle nothing is selected on the Control Panel. The thing is how do I change these settings so 12 and 16 are at idle not reverse thrust? I really hope somebody with the knowledge may be able to help me. I enclose 4 pics which I hope will help in exp…

I used the automatic installer from GitHub and once installed I see the folder in my Community folder. But when I start the sim, I think I'm still seeing the original A320. Does this dev version work only with some of the sim variants or all? (I have the basic simulator package) . Am I missing a step somewhere ? Thanks!

Today I learned, and I'll share it with any who don't already know, that you can open some instruments in MSFS in separate windows. Hold down the right-alt key, and move the mouse over the panel. It will turn into a magnifying glass when over any applicable gauges. Click, and it will open in a new window which you can move around, including onto second monitors.

3000-4000 feet , Corsica , but mostly all over the Mediterranean Sea. 60-70 knots crosswinds with gusts. I am not a real pilot but that´s kinda crazy, isn´t it?

Anyone noticed, the A320 has a new fly pad on the captains side. Can’t turn it on yet but it is “clickable”. Implementation, at least in the dev branch can’t be far off.

I've cleared my community folder, but the sim crashes to desktop everytime I try to start this bushtrip. Anyone else have the experience, and know what to do about it?

Will MSFS add the feature to joystick buttons to be mapped to a certain function when released ? I have Bravo throttle and I can't set the reversers to disengage after they go on on the say joystick button. Evan

After seeing the recent discussion about supersonic aircraft I decided to tidy up and package my experimental hyperspeed/hyperaltitude mod for the C172 (g1000). It allows the C172 to acheive the maximum speed (2700 KTAS) and altitude (275,000 feet) in the sim while remaining as smooth and controllable as possible over a wide range of conditions. The main limitation at this point is that high speed turns are VERY slow. For anything other than a minor course correction you will want to extend flaps to 10 and slow to 700 knots or below where maneuverability is good. Autopilot works surprisingly well up to about 1800 KTAS. Beyond that there are oscillations that are be…

Has anyone been able to successfully set the steering axis ? There are 3 input options, but these only account for set / unset which actually brings the axis to neutral, or to increase / decrease angle by around 5 deg without return to neutral if you return the axis in the controller to it's neutral point.

Hi all. Been away from the sim for a few months. Upon return, and a huge update, I have a problem that wasn’t there before..... When I select my airfield for departure, it will not allow me to start on the ground, and keeps putting me about 1500’ in the air. There is no way I can alter this in the flight configuration page, as it does not display a drop-down menu. If I start from a proper airport, then I do get the option of on the ground or airborne. But this is no good for me as I like to fly light aircraft from tiny airfields. Is there a way I can get the choice back? Also, when setting up a flight on the map, it no longer tells me the name of the airfields, …

Interested in opinions by any current users of PF3. I am considering this in the MSFS environment, almost pull the trigger on it when using FSX. Not interested in voice commands, ( not really compatible in my home environment), really just concerned with the AI and functionality, SIDS, STARS, Vectors, weather, etc.... I know P2ATC is the hot setup, but again, not interested in, nor looking for voice control.

by February next year - 2021 - we will have so much more MFS info & experience, & will be amazed if Asobo/MS has VR ready by Christmas 2020 - but am ready, every iteration of Steam MFS, so far, has big positives for flying, the Robert Young Turbo Bonanza is a dream, just deployed REX Weather Force - worthwhile experience (always used Active Sky & SkyMaxx Pro before in other sims), August 18 2020 to February 2021 is not too long a wait, & we get VR & UK Update by then, will be patiently waiting in the wings 🙂

Anyone notice the SR22 needs a decent amount of nose up to maintain straight and level? I was cruising along just doing some site seeing, maybe 120 kts or so, and I noticed I needed to hold about 2-2.5 degrees nose up to maintain altitude. I know the airplane isn't always going to maintain level flight at zero pitch, but it seems a bit exaggerated in the sim. Some of the other aircraft I've played around with seem to have a similar tendency. Most of my real-life flight time was in C172s, and I haven't flown for over 10 years, so it's fair to say I'm rusty, and I've forgotten a lot of what it was like in the cockpit. I was up in a SR22 with a buddy many years ago…

In what appears to be a never ending string of bugs with this game I’ve now been experiencing nearly every flight the PFD on the G1000 172 freezing completely mid flight. Speed tape and altitude tape go frozen, a white line goes diagonal from top left to bottom right and I can’t get the autopilot to adjust anything. Any clue why this is happening? it seems like nearly every airplane I fly( the a320 and now the 172) are destroyed by terrible programming in this game. Still trying to like it but it’s becoming impossible

A few weeks ago, if I saved a flight with live weather the weather would revert to clear skies when I loaded the flight next time - and there was no way to change it back to live because I no longer had the cloud symbol on my tool bar. I tried saving and loading again today and this time I did seem to have live weather after re-loading - ie it was cloudy, and not clear skies. The weather also seemed to change a bit when I flew to another place. However I'm still not sure whether I really did have live weather. I'm wonder whether I simply saved a "snapshot" of the way the weather was at that time - which explains why it changed from place to place. (I still don't have…

Does anyone know how to save a flight and then load the flight so the plane is in the exact location and viewpoint? It has to be in the air and not on ground. I tried showcase, external and drone camera but it doesn't load the exact viewpoint or location as it was saved. For example this angle. I want to be able to save and load the flight to this position: Thanks in advance.
