Gates Learjet 35A

Hello all! I have been trying to add additional textures to my Lear in P3DV4 that are available on Avsim. I have installed and added the entries to the aircraft.cfg like any other and insured they are in order with the correct numbers and no errors, but are not showing in game. What is weird is that inside of the game, all the orginal textures are still showing even with the additional entries in the cfg. Are there any ideas why they would not be showing up in V4? I'm sure most of us have flown around the world in FS at least one time, but I'm currently doing it whilst studying for finals. I started at KSAT, then flew to Bangor, Iqualiut? (CYFB), Narsarsuaq, London City, Skiathos, Doha, and now I'm fueling up at Bangalore, India. Been at it two days now, no time suppression. The entire flight is being flown with paint N791GL. I just purchased the Learjet and tried to take a couple flights with her. I ran into an issue in that the Nav button on the autopilot goes into Arm mode but never captures the GTN 750 course even when flying right on top of the magenta line. The Nav mode is set to GPS and I tried changing it to Nav/Vloc to see if that made any difference but it did not. I had to steer the plan using the heading hold to manually follow the line. The HSI course pointer did switch to the appropriate course heading at each waypoint but it didn't have the horizontal deviation bar at all; just showed I was centered on course no matter if I was or not. Howdy folks, I just got the Flysimware lear 35A and imme3diately found out how unprepared I was to try it out! Of course, the first thing I found out was that there is a little white button that allows for steering on the ground... only crashed into one building before I found out about that! Then, I quickly discovered how vitally important it is to be SPOT ON when getting lined up on the runway for takeoff! WOW! I had no idea! I've taken off twice while crossing the taxiways to the side of the runway because I was not lined up as well as I should have been, Of course, once in the air, I found out just how quickly this rig can get over 250 knots! FSW LJ35A v3 installed. Sims start with engines running .. all ok. Cold and dark selected FSX menues / options.. all shuts down ok. With parking brake off. Now. Wheel chocks , GPU and engine covers all selectable ok in FSX. But wheel chocks , GPU and engine covers not selectable in P3Dv3 or P3Dv4 ?

Hello, I have just installed the L-35 and can not get the GPS or the radar to work. I have installed the patch but it does not appear to power up. Any help would be great. Here is a screen shot. FSW LJ 35A V3 low AMPS P3Dv4 current version Start a new flight with engines running Starboard AMPS gauge very low (23amps). Port engine OK. So I tried : Select Cold and dark After engine or both started select Gen(s) on Very low starboard engine AMPS. Port engine OK. I have all the autopilot buttons mapped successfully to my Goflight hardware using the built in keypress commands but the one item still left to do is the altitude pre selector. Has anyone found a way to get this gauge to respond to anything other than mouse clicks. I cannot even get Fsuipc logging to show anything happening.

Did someone do a GFD paint for the Learjet yet? I want to do a repaint but not sure if it has been done yet. I looked here at the library and only five repaints came up.

Curious about how you like it or don't like it. Parts seem redundant such as volumetric lighting which the lear already has.

I'm trying out the Learjet 35A for the first time, and I cannot seem to find a way to change standby frequencies to active ones. Adjusting the standby frequency is very easy - it's changing it to the active frequency that I can't seem to do. I've tried looking in the manual, but that has no explanation whatsoever about the radios (apart from saying where they are on a particular panel). I can adjust standby frequencies, turn the radios on and off and test them with the Test button. But the "STO" and "ACT" buttons (whatever they are) don't work. No matter how many times I mouse over them, nothing happens. There doesn't seem to be any other button or "hot spot" to…

Since the GTN750 is now updated to P3Dv4, has anyone got it to work with the Flysimware Lear? The plane itself is working ok, the GTN never powers up. It's shown in the panel.cfg file. When opening the F1GTNconfig utility it only lists the cargo version of the Lear but still doesn't power-up the GTN. Thanks

Hi, I encountered a couple of gauge problems in my installation of v2.9 (FLS 225) for P3Dv4 which I wondered if anyone else had, and if so, how to fix it: The Digital Altimeter Set gauge has the digital readout over the gauge title (not a show-stopper, but it doesn't look right!) The Altitude gauge has a blank readout window for the STD Pressure (left lower little window). The other two windows for Altitude (top) and Altimeter Calibration (lower right) are OK. I installed by pointing the installer to v4. No problem. I have NOT downloaded the files from the website. My problem is that the spoilers do not function either with keyboard or assigning to joystick and the steer lock button on he yoke just causes the light to flash, not stick. The steer lock on the center console works as expected. Any idea what's going on? It worked perfectly on this system in v3. Thanx! Vic

Hi guys! I reinstall the Lear 35A these days on my P3DV3.4. I have a very strange fuel problem on this plane. Left and right wing tanks equally filled before flight, I notice that both engines are feeded by the right tank only which ended by an unbalance quickly. I made a test to confirm, I only put fuel in the right wing tank and I could start both engines without problem, of course I tried also to put fuel in the left wing only and none of the engines started. To be fair, I must say I've the same problem on the Xtreme Prototypes LR25D SE. I tried The Eaglesoft Citation X, this one is ok (And all my other twins)so I'm a bit confused. Hi Folks, A very simple mod to bring a little skin tone color to the dead looking crew in the cockpit... Just save the original textures from the generic "Texture" folder for the aircraft (in case you don't like the mod) - then remove the respective BMP's from that directory replacing them with the included DDS files...
