Using Matts superb downloaded manual. Thanks Matt! https://www.dropbox.com/s/v8qx0vj7p4q8yb3/Lear%2035%20AFM.pdf?dl=0 I did a short intro video of the superb Learjet. It just shows some V speed calcs from the tables in the manual and a sneak preview of what MCE can (will) do. More soon! Bet regards David

Hi Folks, Does the Angle of Attack indicator work on the LJ35A - I've never seen a needle or anything move... Seem like this plane would need it more than many... Thanks... Regards, Scott

Hi Folks, First off - as many already know - this plane is certified for two pilot operation - it's a handful with one and something that is not allowed in real world operations... I'm a SEL/PP and I'd like to learn how to move some of this bigger and faster tin... I've got limited experience with flying turbines in MSFS/P3D but I'd like to do it as realistically as practical... The checklist that came with the plane is rather light - so I've found a real world one as a basis to start... I'm not sure how much of this we can implement in our operation of this aircraft and I can certainly change it accordingly... I know we have some real biz jet pilots around…

In the Learjet 35A I have trouble with the red "GS" label covering the G/S indicator of the HSI. The actual localizer + G/S is working and I can land with full ILS. The problem is that the read "GS" label (mechanical cover) is always present and I can't see if I am at, below or above the glide slope. Both NAV and GS are in CAP-mode in the autopilot. I have probably some switch in the wrong position but I cant find which one.

Hi Folks, Just wondering if anyone uses that effects package addon for the Lear ? I watched the video and it seemed like a negligable improvement - really don't need disco lights in the back - so is this package still worthy of the $20 + they are asking ? The one thing I noted is that the landing light on the Lear doesn't seem to illuminate the runway on approach - only after you set her down - which seems to be missing the point of a Landing Light - would this package improve that aspect ? As always - thanks so much for your time and insights... Regards, Scott

Hi Folks, Just a heads up to the Lear guys on my favorite - completely FREE real world Flight Planner/EFB - Fltplan GO works on Apple/Android/PC clients (I use my iPad) - it has connections built in for FSX/Xplane - it includes up to date NAVDATA, Charts, and Approach Plates - the approach plates are fully geo-referenced - it has a built in real world profile for the Lear 35A - - - and did I mention it's completely FREE ? LOL - for the record - I am in no way associated with the company - just one happy camper that finds it hard to believe how much you get for so little... I normally grab all the data from the FltPlan site - plug the real world ATC flight plan into F…

Hello, I'm noticing that my slip indicator does not move even if the yaw dampener is not on. If I'm taxing and turn sharply from side to side, it does not move in the little glass tube. Is this a problem with this Lear sim, or is there something wrong that I may be doing. Also, sometimes when I load the aircraft, my right engine is running, but my left engine is not. If it loads this way, I will have problems starting the left engine. It will act like it's getting no fuel, even after I move the throttle up, out of the cut-off position. I'm finding that the only way to start the engine is to "Ctrl+E" if this happens. Again, is there something that I am doing wrong? …

Hello, I see that on the main option menu for the Lear 35A, you have the option to put headsets on the pilot and fo. It would be really nice if, when that option is selected, the engine sounds would be muffled to simulate having the headset actually on, or a least a box that can be checked that would make that option happen. I fly on Pilotedge and would love to have the option to muffle engine sounds so I can hear the controller better. I love this Learjet and I believe it is the most addictive aircraft sim that I have (and I have them all  ) I would like to see it fine tuned for Pilotedge. Just a thought. Thank you, Bob

Just purchased this tonight after being on the fence for a couple of months. I can see why many report that the Lear 35A here is an extremely immersive aircraft... I really like what I have seen so far. One question: I cannot set the spoilers during landing, as I simply cannot see the clickspot easily from my viewpoint. Furthermore, I have my right hand on the stick to control the landing, my left hand is controlling the thrust levers and reversers... I have a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS with loads of free buttons available via FSUIPC profiling, as well as a Virtual FLy TQ6. I want to map the spoilers to a button. How would I do this? What is the key command th…

Greetings! Firstly, thanks to Flysimware for the Lear - fantastic package. However, I am having a problem with it.... I have a Virtual Airline that uses the FSAirlines client as a flight tracker. For some reason, the client sees the landing lights being switched to "off" once the gear is retracted (and it would make sense for them to be off once the landing gear doors are closed) although the switches are still set to "on" in the cockpit. Since the client sees the lights as having been switched off, the client issues a penalty to the pilot (me) for having the landing lights off below 1,000' AGL. It would be nice if the recognition lights that shine forward fro…

Flysimware have updated their site http://www.flysimware.com/website/LEARJET_35A_UPDATES.html telling us about the upcoming 2.6 version. Fine stuff, most welcome. Good to see that the Lear is stil receiving the developers' attention. It's a great addon and I find myself flying nothing else lately. So addictive. Maybe that's why I have become picky about it. Hence,I am missing a word about fixing the out- of- sync main/standby altimeter kohlsman setting and the non-working pressurization cabin climb/descend rate indication.

A friend of mine has the FSX L35 ver 2.6 on a Win8 system. When he climbs through 29000ft using the AP SPD mode, the L35 suddenly pitches up to max VS on the VS dial and the airspeed falls off towards a stall. He tried deleting and reinstalling the L35, and it happens both in the DVD and Steam sims. Anyone else experience anything like this or have any suggestions what the problem might be? Thx, Al

First of all.. I've not seem any flight reports here yet, so as I already had written it for the IVAO forums, I thought I'd might share it here as well. I am in staff for a VA named econair, which usually only operates regular passenger flights.. 737, A320, 777, Q400- you know it. However we came up with the idea to create a commuter airline. Here it where the story begins. Keep in mind the report was written for a wider (magenta) audience, so just ignore some technical stuff you might already know. After a quite long time of preparations our Link project is now getting on the finish line. Econair Link is a subsidiary of our regular airline econair. While econair f…

Hi, finally got hold of the new 2.6 version of the Lear via Simmarket this evening. Two issues were springing right in my face: 1. Green windshield annunciator light is on when switch is off, and light is off when switch is on. 2. When climbing or descending in V/S mode and passing through FL290, the SPD mode button will light up due to the IAS to MACH or vice versa change. This is clearly wrong and should not happen when climbs/descends are not done in SPD mode.
