I like nearly everything on the new update.. but one thing bothers me, however I don't know if it's the same thing in the real Lear. When you now turn off the AP, all modes are killed and cannot be activated until the AP is on. This way you have to fly raw data all the way until AP engagement and all the way down from disengagement. Before the update you could use the FD for an ILS approach for example, as one would expect in an aircraft with an automation level like the Lear. Also I now have troubles getting the AP modes engaged at all. Turning on the AP master switch is no problem, however I cannot engage any mode until.. something happens.. first I thought I had to …

Hey guys, I would like to take my beloved Lear35 for a trip to Europe from my home base in KBLM. Would you guys have any recommendation for a good source of flight plans/legs used in real life that are used to ferry light jets? Thank you in advance! John.

Just purchase.Read the manual etc, my question is how do the flight director bars engage? I only seem to able to get them to work when the A/P is on . When I push the H/S Alt/H etc without A/P they just flash. Cheers

I have noticed some performance paramaters that do not seem quite right. I could be wrong, but thought I would mention them here incase it can lead to a positive change. The turbine temp goes into red with the fan percent being just over 80. How do we use the 95 percent or so that would be conceivable used for takeoff if the temp is off the marks on the gauge? I also read a general stat that said the Lear 35A needs just over 10,000ft of runway to takeoff at 5,000ft altitude and 25c outside air temperature. I Tried this out at KDEN. I went to 18,000lbs GW, throttles to 95 percent (well past redline on the temp gauge) and it took off in about half the 10,000ft …

Hi. I purchased the Learjet 35 P3D v3 from PC Aviator. I have version 2.1. I just checked a few minutes ago and they still have v 2.1. Is there someplace I can download version 2.2.5? Thanks, Jeff

There is a "minimums" indicator light on the upper right of the PFD for the Lear. Does anyone know how to adjust the minimums to match the MDA on the approach plates? Seems to be set at some altitude, probanly 200 ft.

Just read your updates on your website for v2.2, and even though it is not released yet, it's great Flysimware is so proactive on fixing these issues on what is already a very nice plane, and you guys are only making it better....wish all developers would be as responsive to their customers as you are! Cheers Martin

Hi all: I know there is a thread on this already but it is a long thread and I wanted to get this up front so it isn't overlooked. Below is a copy of a tech support note I just sent in to Flysimware Hello support: I am writing concerning the Lear 35A I purchased yesterday. So I installed the aircraft in FSX yesterday and took my first flight today. It is a nice looking model and the installation went smoothly. However, my first flight was a difficult time due to your autopilot issues. The AP will not capture or maintain an altitude. I followed the directions exactly, setting the desired ALT and choosing ALTSEL, trimming the aircraft for a reasonable climb rate, th…

I installed v2.1 today, flew a local ILS, had problems, uninstalled the airplane, reinstalled it again, had same problems: 1. I set the pitch to 2000'/min and took off. At about 600 ' I engage the AP and clicked Hdg, Alt Sel & VS on the AP Control Panel. Turned the Hdg dial to come around and head for the OM. Intercepted the outbound LOC with the heading dial as using the BC takes you all over the place. Everything is working fine. Now we're coming up to our selected ALT and the Alt Sel shows Cap and the VS has shown ON since we engaged it. It levels at the desired altitude but it does not show the Alt Sel and VS lights switching to ALT. If you switch them…

Hey all, sorry to bother again with fuel burn numbers but I was wondering if the staff could maybe post the typical fuel burn numbers for this aircraft kind of like the sticky for the Conquest II. 1st hour, 2nd, 3rd, + 45 min IFR reserve? Would make flight planning a heck of a lot easier! Please, and thank you!

Hey guys, I'm just able to find sometime to get flying again and noticed that we are up to 2.1 for the 35A. I'm sorry to ask, but how do I update it if I purchased it directly from Flysimware? I didn't receive an email notifying me of the update and when I browsed around the site, I didn't see how to get the update for those who have purchased it. Am I doing what my wife call "man looking", in other words, its right in front of me and I'm totally missing it? Thanks for the help and for answering a probably very obvious question. Dave

Hi all- Just downloaded and installed the Lear. No aircraft in the preview window show when selecting any variation. When I do select one, it takes about 20 seconds to load and 10 seconds to go from inside/outside cockpit. P3D V3 is essentially unusable with this aircraft. Haswell/SSDs/Titan configuration. This behavior has never been observed with any other aircraft, stock or payware. Anyone else seen this on a new install? Thanks, Mark

Hi, I don't know if it's something I'm doing or not doing but after I take off in the Lear 35 with a full fuel load, the center fuel tank appears to to be draining. I don't know where the fuel could possibly be going, except out into the atmosphere, because the wing tanks are still full and the transfer pumps are off. Thoughts?

First I would like to say how great the new Lear 35 is. Looks and flying is top notch. My question is when I am doing an ILS approach I get no needle movement on the gauge. But the plane captures and files the ILS an GS. I know I am missing something just not sure what? All my other payware and freeware planes work great. Maybe someone can tell me what I am doing wrong or what I have missed. Eddie

I have flown the Lear 35A and MU-2 for around two weeks now and am quite satisfied with both. I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick and a G-13 Gaming Pad. On the MU-2, all my buttons worked as set. However, on the Lear everything works except the AP Master ON/OFF. Both controllers and keyboard are set to the Z key. When you press either Z key on both controllers or keyboard, all the AP Engage Light does is blink. The key folder reflects Z is the keyboard settings. Having to turn the AP ON/Off is an irritant without a copilot. Any advice is appreciated. Mike

Hi guys, after only flying locally, I wanted to go on a trip and use the autopilot and the 530 GPS. I installed V2.1 today, but it was only frustrating so far. The autopilot seems to do whatever it likes. Pitch modes have been uncontrollable. One example: I have it trimmed out nicely flying manually at a1000 fpm climb, selecting either VS or SPD, engaging the ap (altitude is selected higher) and it goes into a nose dive. On another trial I got it to climb in basic modes, just engaging the ap with ALT SEL armed, but It does not acquire the altitude properly and levels off 700 below selected altitude. Course display: To follow the flightplan in the GPS, I …

After installing this latest version of the Lear 35A into FSX I have this somewhat annoying problem. 1. I first select the Lear 35A at the aircraft selection menu. Right after the selected Lear 35 aircraft shows up in the aircraft menu (selected aircraft slowly turning around)--I immediately hear what sounds like possibly a gear warning horn sound or a warning bell sound. This audible sound continues to blare until I am sitting in to the cockpit at the selected airport of departure. Once that happens I no longer hear the blaring sound. --My question is, is this suppose to be normal with version 2.1? Or did something not get installed properly? I did remove the the…

Hello Captains, Im use to check these kind of errors, but until now, i ran our of ideas to fix it. Recently, i updated P3DV3 to P3DV3.1 by installing the Client only. After that y updated LJV1.9 to V2.0, turned on the Sim and went to fly rightaway... Before doing that, i had this lighting appearance: After those updates i see kind of balls like dragon ball Z : Any clues to solve it? Anyone with same issue? Thanks in advance for support,

Observed this problem in the Lear 35 V1.9 in both FSX and P3D v3: The DME indicator is updating very sporadically, and does not show changes in 0.1 nm increments. I'll see something like 12.9...then it'll update to 13.9 without ever displaying the intervening 0.1 nm values (e.g. 13.0, 13.1, 13.2 etc). Regards
