Summed up - VERY, VERY MUCH IMPROVED!! OK, the details: Gents, truly great strides have been made here. I'm impressed. The details of the flight are as follows: Flight: PAHO - PAYA - Dist: 373 nm Scenery: (with apologies to Martin) - PAHO fully fat payware airport; PAYA - full fat payware airport; Regional scenery - Orbx SAK FS Settings: Autogen: Dense (usually I fly this region with "Normal" autogen unless down low - decided to keep the more detailed scenery for this test - see below*) Lear 35 Version/Mods: V1.5, VAS Dimmer Switch Patch (this gave me back my interior lights from the previous flight) Time of Day: Start - Late afternoon; Finish - Full…

I must confess that as many years as I've been a Flight Simulator enthusiast, I've never assigned, or "mapped" a keyboard assignment to one of the controls in the virtual cockpit of an aircraft. The Flysimware Lear 35 manual states that the steer lock switch can be assigned to the keyboard with the "tail hook" assignment, and one of the other folks in the forum mentioned that they were able to do this as well. That, I think, is an all but essential step to take given this feature of the Lear, and all of the multitasking that is also necessary on landing rollout, especially in a crosswind, instrument conditions, etc. I really don't want to have to come t…

Now flying V1.5 of the Lear and most of the earlier issues seem to have been dealt with........very grateful for all the work. I am still having a problem with the HSI showing any deflection however. In either the VOR or GPS mode I usually don't see from the HSI whether I'm right or left of course and therefor can't use the HSI to correct accordingly. This is particularly vexing when shooting an ILS of course and I was wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem. I know I could install/use the GTN 750 I have, but I just haven't gotten fond of it and would rather not. If anyone has some insight on this I would welcome it. rf

I see the Lear 35A is soon going to have a payload manager and the MU2 now has shockwave lights. One has to really admire a developer who doesn't "dump-and-run" but instead continually updates and refines a current product line. The updates and refinements made to the Lear since it was first released have been really impressive and while I had concerns over the responses earlier to my issues, I will be the first to admit that Flysimware really stepped up to the plate and have gone beyond what I thought they would in updating the Lear. Because of that, it's probably my favourite airplane to fly now (ESPECIALLY since it has a cargo interior!!) and is the one I fly t…

The updates to date have made good improvements since release, list of items to items to consider modifying based on V1.6 observations. Should do: Fuel flow is about 20% above actual values. Ran a endurance check and compared it to average hourly fuel consumption of real aircraft. Made a run at 37,000 and .77 with full wing and tip fuel from a startup and direct climb to altitude. Fuel exhaustion occurred at about 3:10 which shows an average consumption of 1555 lbs/hour or so from engine startup. A similar result based on observations from experience would produce an average flow around 1250 lbs/hr and endurance of about 4:00 hours with wing and tip fuel. The longest …

Hello Boys, Have you noticed that sometimes you just can not steer the front wheel after landing? I Think this starts before landing. I Notice that the 3 red lights from the Landing gear, remain in red even after the gears are down..... the manual talk about an unsafe condition, but..... i know im not above the speed for extention(Or may be there is something im not conscious of), the matter is that, everytime that happens, after landing i can not steer the front wheel and i dont have lights.... Some pictures: 1- The Unsafe 3 red lights remain ON during normal landing procedure(In the final approach). In this picture i just landed, and the green li…

Hi all, I was having problems getting the GTN750 to interface correctly with the primary HSI. After several messages back and forth with FlYSIMWARE support, Mark advised he suspected I had the GTN set to nav 2 in the F1GTN cofiguration utility. That turned out to be correct. I don't know how it got set to nav 2, but after I I set it to nav 1, it all works perfectly now. My bad. Thank you Mark at FLYSIMWARE support. FLYSIMWARE is at the top of my list for product support.

Hello Captains, I wonder what is the correct procedure to deploy Reversers + Soilers in this bird. What i do: 1- Arm the Reversers - Green ligt on the pannel. 2- Press my joystick Autospoilers Arm Button 3- Perform a kiss landing(Well, very often  ) 4- I dont see reversers deloy, and sometimes i dont see the spoilers comming up. Im testing it during several flights..... im not sure what im doing wrong, may be this bird has autospoilers linked to the reversers? So im messing the AP by pressing the Spoilers arm command.... Thanks in advance.. a Pic for you:

Hi Love this plane, very well done and a joy to (hand)fly. I have a question however: When arming the reversers and activating them, there seems to be no breaking effect nor do I hear any "reverser-sound". The Animations however are correct inside and outside. Am I missing something? Thanks for this gem and keep up the good work Marcel

Hey all, This aircraft is a blast to fly. The only issue im having is directional control on takeoff is sometimes very hard to manage with crosswinds. Im using ASN for weather and CH pedals with sensitivity maxed out. When the steering shuts off around 30-40 knots I have to go full right / left on the pedals respectively to keep the plane from going off the runway. Can someone let me know if this is operator error or is there some kind of limitation? Thanks!

Hey all, is there any way we can get a PDF of the Lear 35's cruise performance? Or just typical pph would be good enough?

Hello, I just performed a nice flight from GOOY-SBNT, and i noticed several issues for the LEarjet 35A: 1- When dissengage the ALT HOLD in order to descend, the aircraft starts to pull up and down briskly!....is this normal? 2- When approaching to SBNT, i dont know what happen, as long as i had the autopilot engaged everything was fine, but as long as i disconnected it, the plane went crazy.... If i push throtles, it goes nose down, if i pull throtles, is goes nose up. Kind off...even with autopilot disengaged (All corresponding switches off).... Any clue? Thanks in advance...

Hi: I just purchased the Learjet from the Flysimware store. I tried downloading the plane several times, but the connection was slow, and the download terminated before it was completed. I now get a message saying that I have reached the maximum number of downloads. I sent a message to customer service, but thought I'd post here as well. Any help would be appreciated. Just purchased the Lear and absolutely loving it. Great job! The only issue i have found so far doing some testing. Day flight in ORBX area with things turned up. No issues at all. The second i go to night and turn on ANY dimmers in the cockpit within mintues i start to run out of memory and eventually will crash. Its for sure a issue with the plane and not my PC as i have Never had a OOM. Otherwise i am really loving this plane! amazing job. I plan on flying this thing for many years to come. My specs. Hi there, First of all let me be clear that I love the Lear period. After some familarization flights I think I noticed the following item/issues: auxiliary hydraulic pressure pump not operating with engines off. So no hydraulic pressure when initializing AC. The decrease rate of hydraulics is way too fast. Because when pressure is not used (by e.g. parking/brakes or other flight controls the rate of pressure decrease should be very slow). The build up of pressure is way too fast after swtitching the hydraulic pump with engines running and too high value. Spoileron reset not working (not even as dummy switch) Encode ALT XFER not working (not even dummy switch) T…

Hi, I have the GNS 530 but the one in the Lear seems different than the one I use in all my other GA aircraft. My main problem is that I can't seem to get to my saved flight plans for some reason. Is there any way to get my full functioning GPS to work in this aircraft? Thanks in advance....

OK, I did as you suggested and flew a flight with V1.4 and with the Dimmer Cab file disabled. Here are my results: 1 - OOM: I think you are correct regarding the lights (interior) being an issue. This flight was 584 nm and no OOM. It was done with my usual settings that I do all my flights on (reasonably high settings), all done in Norway (Orbx fat region) and featured an IFR approach at the end under IFR conditions, and there was no hint of any OOM issues. However, it's important to point out that by disabling that dimmer cab file in both the panelGNS and panelMAIN files, I had no interior lighting at all; not just the dimming functions. So whether it's the dimmer o…
