Gates Learjet 35A

Hi, I use a single GTN750 and the Milviz WXR config in the Lear 35. My question pertains to the behavior of VLOC and GPS coupling with respect to the RMIs. In VLOC mode, everything works as expected, i. e. HSI1 displays VOR1, HSI2 displays VOR2, and each RMI has VOR1/2 and NDB1/2. In GPS mode, both HDI1/2 are coupled to GPS. Ok. But the VOR channels of the RMIs seem also blocked. NDBs are still picked up, but RMIs don‘t point to VORs any more. Should it not be that only the HSI‘s are coupled to GPS, but the RMIs can still point to VORs? Thanks

Hi, I have the rxp gns530 gps installed for prepar3d v4.4, and it works in all my planes, but when tried to install the learjet and went to the config panel in desktop I saw that rxp gns 530 was not available in red (if I remember well) and only gtn750 (I don,t have it) and default flysimware gps was available for selection, any idea why is not finding the rxp530? Hi guys, just wanted to ask: since the Lear 35 has been updated, I am absolutely loving this thing. Can you tell me if the Falcon is on par with the Lear - I just might have to add this one to my hangar too.

To be honest , IDK if this was an issue before updating to the latest version but the fuel control switches for transferring fuel do not function for me. During a flight The wing tanks emptied while the others were full and the engines shut down. I tried fuel transfer but altho In got the proper icon the switches didn't move . The fuel selector for readout of each tan functioned properly. Have I missed something? Thanx, Vic

Seems that Flightsim Store / FSS isn't updating its files anymore. I bought my FSW Learjet 35A from them and can only download version 3.0. I understand the latest version is 4.1A. Any ideas about how I could obtain latest updates for that aircraft? I've emailed FSW about transferring my FSS purchase to the FSW digital store and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Thanks for any suggestions or assistance.

This evening I was doing an approach into KTNP airport (29Palms designs). The winds were 330 20 gusting 25. So I decided to use runway 26. 26-8 is 75ft wide. Although not the biggest strip of asphalt in the world, it should have been adequate for a small Lear. So I thought. As soon as my wheels touched the ground on the centerline, I started drifting to the left so I put in full rudder to compensate but it’s like the aircraft didn’t even respond to my inputs. Well... it did but really slowly. I ended up in the dirt before my inputs finally came to. Shouldn’t the rudder on the Lear be more responsive? How do you change the GPS to GTN/RDR? I see the installer in the aircraft folder but do not know how to run it. The webpage states each Lear 35 has a 'tag' indicating GTN/RDR , I can't find that either. Thank you in advance for any help. Bob

On Flysimware's website for the LearJet 35, they have the Bendix Weather radar, but, I have the MILVIZ radar in the VC. I would like to use the Bendix even if it's inoperable because I prefer the overall design of the Bendix over the MILVIZ. I use P3D v4 if you are wondering. I looked through some older 32bit versions and i found the texture file for the Bendix. But, I looked through the 64 bit version and found this... I also noticed the 32 bit file was saved as .dds but the 64 bit was saved as .bmp

Hi, I am trying currently in the process of completing my first repaint ever. It has gone pretty well, however I have come across that I couldn't figure out, even after looking through tutorials. The livery I am repainting is "VH-LPF" an Australian Air Ambulance, the problem is that on the Tip Tanks (I think that's what they are called, basically the thing that has Recog Light in it) the textures seem to be mirrored, I believe this wouldn't of been a problem for many liveries, however LPF has the word "Ambulance" on each tip tank. What this causes to happen is that it looks correct on one side, however it's backwards on the other. Any suggestions on how to fix this / work…

Hello, I just uninstalled and reinstalled the Flysimware Learjet 35A_FSX-P3d_V3.0, for P3dv4.4 several times. When selecting the LJ 35A in the sim the aircraft begins to load as it should but then the sim crashes. All other aircraft..default and payware load although I am having issues with two Flight1 aircraft with relationship to the MFD map not working.... not related to this problem. All aircraft work fine in FSX Steam as well as the map problem mentioned above. Using Windows 10, Nvidia 1080ti, orbx,Global and Vector, F1 GTN complete, FSX Steam and P3Dv4.4--updated the P3d client and content client...not scenery. Also, where would one go for Flysimware …

I am using the standard GNS 530 version of the Learjet. Tonight I tried to set up my ILS for runway 12 at KBZN. The frequency is 109.30, and the Course heading is 123. I plugged in both figures correctly. The frequency went into my NAV1 radio on the pedestal, and in the GNS 530 as well. The course I bugged with the course knob. Whenever the time came I flipped the CDI into VLOC mode and then hit the GS button. The Learjet never captured the localizer or the GS. Did I do something backwards? The Red GS flags did disappear but nothing else happened.

While taxiing in the Lear I noticed that whenever I applied the brakes, my wheels locked up. I checked to make sure that the anti skid system was on. I did a little more taxiing and surprisingly my wheels would only lock up if I were going under 10 knots and I applied the brakes. Over 10 knots and my wheels would spin if I touched the brakes. So is the anti skid system modeled with the Lear? Or is this a bug?

Sorry I am late to the game, but I just picked up the Lear 35A on sale and it’s a really nifty aircraft. I’ve done about 5 flights so far and I can tell it’s one of those aircraft that treat you well if you treat her well. Anyways, with every flight I have done, I seem like I’m missing something when on approach/final. The aircraft flies like a hamburger. It feels as though one of my wing tips is about to bank over sending me into a spin. I have my approach speeds correct but idk... something doesn’t feel right. Unless this is how the aircraft really flies in the real world. In that case bravo to the devs for simulating such a complex handling aircraft but I just wanted c…

I'm not sure this is an FSW issue...posting here to see if others have seen this (and can offer a potential fix). Last night, I installed the FSFX Immersion pack for the Learjet 35...two flights since installation of that software and I'm now seeing the "MACH TRIM" fault on the annunciator that will not clear. As some of you may know, there have been sporadic issues reported on the REX official forum regarding CTDs and other odd behavior supposedly associated with the REX-Milviz WX radar gauge and specific 3rd party aircraft. I have the most recent beta of the WX radar gauge and it works perfectly with the RealAirTD V2, the Milviz 310R Redux and the Milviz B55, under P3d V4.3, Win10 and nVidia driver version 391.35. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Flysimware LJ 35A. It either CTDs P3d4 (no Windows error report) or locks the entire system up, requiring a reboot.
