Hi Folks, RE: P3Dv4.5 As per Al: Just downloaded the update from SIMMARKET - seems to have run fine - aircraft has been updated - the folder is not in the root of P3D as I noted the new location... I ran the installer twice - as admin - no joy... Regards, Scott

I am having trouble with my Lear, I can’t even do a flight because my sim crashes whenever I click to start a flight. I have P3Dv4.5 installed and I did a clean install just prior to downloading the Lear. I did make sure to click on the option v4.4 or higher with the install wizard. It’s only with the Lear because I have tried other aircraft and everything is okay but I just can’t get my Lear to work. I made sure admin permissions were correct as well....

  3. As I am getting totally mad with GIMP right now, and just can't get the lines to look right.. is there anyone willing to help me out by painting these word not allowed (sorry) two lines on the fuselage? The rest I am able to do myself, the tail is already done. When finished, there will be a small fleet of german reg'd Lear from Air Alliance Express (D-CONE, D-CITY, D-CTRI, D-CFIV, D-CTWO) all sharing the same livery. The old livery of D-CEXP I already did using the old paintkit, but can't get the stripes on the tail right. Maybe someone is willing to help me out a bit (after all, it's just these 2 stripes!)? I've had it working before so I'm not sure what I'm missing. The AP switch is in the up position and when I try to engage the middle ENG afcs button it won't do anything. If I press it a second time the AP disconnect sound is heard but nothing does anything.

Autopilot won't track a glide path with RXP 750's during an RNAV LPV approach. And edit... I've found you have to open the popup and right click the top bezel to select Master Device and also Connect GPS to HSI Then it shows glide slope on LPV mins

  6. This is a major improvement, thank you! My only initial problem is the Weather Radar gauge is not active, it's listed in the Panel Config and the Weather Advantage Radar is installed on my computer. I also have both the Milviz 310R and DHC-2 Beaver installed; both have working radar. Help! Thank you again for a spectacular update!!! P3DV4.4 Win 10 Bob

  7. Removed V3, installed V4.1 and found 3 issues: - the Astrotech clock cannot set to timer mode, it displays only the actual time. Also, pressing OAT shows the temperature but the clock cannot be reverted to displaying time. - the left knob of the builtin GPS in the VC consists of 5 or 6 very small zones (like rings), alternating between frequency change of "COMM" and "NAV". Turning the knob, either COMM or NAV frequency is changed, depending of the exact position of the mouse in these small zones. In V3, I select COMM or NAV by pushing the button, then either COMM or NAV were changeable, in V4.1, pushing the button switch between COMM and NAV, but the knob ignore…

Hi, fantastic update on my favorite jet! Encountered a little bug on my first flight today: The Nav/Com Frequency knob of the standard GNS changes both frequencies at once: COM and NAV. No matter if you push the knob to switch between both. COM or NAV is highlighted, but if you turn the knob, both frequencies change (the value behind the dot) Can anybody confirm? Edit: Only in the VC. If i open it with Shift-2, it works correct. Regards, Jan

I have just purchased the Learjet 35A, and wondering how to install it as instructions are very basic to say the least. I do not have the GTN 750 as yet, so will be installing the stock aircraft. When I get the GTN 750, I need to uninstall and re-install using the GTN 750 options When I start the install process it asks how many GTN 750 I want?? In my case, none, but there is no option for this? Any help would be appreciated Geoff

  10. Having watched development of the wonderful improvements to our FSW Lear 35, my excitement waiting for release has been replaced with sadness over an issue I had never experienced before. I come here after several days of troubleshooting seeking any help someone may provide. I am running P3D v4.5 and this issue is NOT occurring with any other aircraft flown INCLUDING the FSW Falcon 50. Upon selecting the Lear 35 (any livery/any panel config), I am greeted with a misalignment of the 2 throttles and the light above the "AIR IGN L" switch quickly blinking off and on about every 3 -4 seconds. Firing up the #2 (right) engine works perfect, but when attempting to click …

Hey everyone. Want to get some input from you Lear owners in regards to a potential component of the next update. I'm looking at integrating accurate gear wind sound (recorded by me while flying the airplane IRL) just like we did on the falcon. The sound change on the flight deck when the gear is down is pretty dramatic, and I wanted to see if it was something you all wanted to see come to the Lear. If there's one downside to this, its this: with our current sound engine, you will hear the gear wind sound if you happen to pause the simulator with the landing gear extended. Otherwise, you won't notice any changes other than the sound itself. What are your t…

Hi, I am using the latest Lear 35 together with a single RXP GTN unit (version 2.5.16.0) The GTN, as a single unit, is configured to COM1/NAV1, so my expectation is that it would only occupy the VOR1 channel via GPS. I have put the frequency of a nearby VOR in both NAV1 and NAV2 and set both RMI needles to VOR. Now, look at this: In VLOC mode, both RMI needles indicate the selected VOR, as expected: https://ibb.co/W0z9jMV Now, the GTN is switched to GPS. Upon doing so, I lose the VOR1 indication on the RMI, since it is now coupled to the GPS. This works as expected: https://ibb.co/187jKrp Now, I add a waypoint to the flight pla…

Hi all, I´m new in this topic, but I tried to managed to read most of the posts, you guys did here in the last few month, to get myself an overview about what was already talked about. To my person: I´m flying the Lear 35 for a company in Germany since a couple of month (so I do not have that much experience on the Lear, like Joe). Mostly we do medevac flights, so I looked with interested to the Lear 35 mods, you guys mentioned in some former threads (Avcon, ZR-Lite and longer Tip-Tanks 😉 ) Anyhow, this is a “nice to have” thing, but not really needed for the time being. A lot of modification on the aircraft has to be done too, which makes it mo…

Joe, our resident L35 expert/pilot has a HSI unit in the L35 he flies that uses the HCP-74 HSI control unit pictured below. Two handy features (among others) of this HSI controller are: 1. If you push in the heading bug adjustment knob, the heading bug will be synced to the current aircraft heading, i.e., the bug will move to the top of the HSI. 2. If you push in the course adjustment knob when tuned to a VOR station the HSI course arrow will move to point directly at the VOR station (like a RMI needle) and the CDI will center. The tail of the course needle then indicates the current radial the a/c is on, and if you turn to the heading pointed to …

  22. Hi, Please have a look at the following: https://ibb.co/d4dXqwV The Lear is tracking the flightplan correctly, but with constant lateral offset. This happened on the second leg. First leg from freshly started P3D was without issues, for approach GPS was switched to VLOC to shoot an ILS. On turnaround, without restarting P3D, after new flight plan inserted in GTN, GPS guidance was again selected, and flight plan was flown with the observed lateral offset. GTN is configued to automatically adjust the HSI course. Sim is P3D v4.4 on Win 10. Any ideas?

  23. Hi FSW, it appears that there is some problem with the total amount of fuel getting reported in the RXP GTN 750 for the Lear 35. I initially posted the issue with RXP, see here: However, it turned out that the fuel quantity for the default aircraft is reported correctly in the GTN. Any ideas? P3D v4.4, Latest Lear 35, latest GTN 750 from RXP Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Flysimware, been flying the Lear a lot, and I must say it is one of the most enjoyable and stable experiences I have had in flight simulator, especially when coupled with a GTN 750. Now, is there any chance that we might see the Avcon tail fins that are a retrofit on many Lear 35A's that are flying today? See http://www.avconindustries.com/images/uploaded/636088068131357_photo-11.jpg Thanks

"TO Trim" on the annunciator panel is lit indicating the horizontal stabilizer needs to be trimmed, but I don't know where to do that on the Lear 35. I've found the indicator for the Falcon 50 but can't locate it on the Lear. Thanks, John
