RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Greetings -- Recently, I upgraded my motherboard on my Windows 10 instance and since then get an "Invalid License. Contact Vendor" on XP startup. I have tried reinstalling multiple times with no change. I have attempted to use the F1 agent and under "library" get to a page showing my May, 2021 purchase with F1 Certificate number and then after doing all the exclusions in windows security got the download to occur and run - to no avail - still get the "Invalid License". It did successfully upgrade to the latest RXP software. I can run the Garmin Trainer and it works and is up to date. My guess is that the instance is not getting/updating the F1 certificate. I think I have now come to grips with replacing the F1 750 with RXP version via the add ons drop down menu... One little annoying thing is every time I load an aircraft I get the pop up notification from F1 telling me I have an incompatible simulator version, doesn't stop anything just annoying. Is there a way to prevent this? I am running the latest version of Prepar3d v.5.3 including hotfixes.

Has anyone put together a panel configuration to get the RXP GTN 650/750 to fit the modern panel in the JF/AH C-46?

I followed your instructions for the RAS Turbine Duke and the Pop up windows (2 & 3) work fine, and the 750 on the VC works fine, but the 650 is dark. See attached and panel.cfg. What am I doing wrong? Attempting to re-install but am told the above problem exists ... i trawl the fora and find suggestion to reinstall using F1 installer, which i try to do and hey presto doesn't download, courtesy alleged virus ... ???

Hi Guys, I have just started using the RXP 750 but also own the F1 version as all of Carenado (or most) and A2A have panel tools for them... Once the F1 version is installed I keep getting incompatible simulator version. I understand F1 are no longer updating it so my Prepar3d v5.3 HF2 (current version) can no longer use it. Using the info I open the add ons drop down menu and select RXP panel configuration and follow all the steps including ticking no bezel...It installs the 750 but in the 530 so have all those knobs etc but the 750 screen... Is there a workaround for this so I get the whole 750 installed not a hybrid.. Dave

I have a problem with the GTN 750 in Prepar3d V5.3. I use the addon in two A2A aircrafts. When I activate the hardware accelerated GPU scheduling under Windows 10/ Graphics setting, the GTN 750 no longer reacts properly and freezes or becomes extremely slow, so that no input is possible on the touch screen. As soon as I deactivate the Windows hardware accelerated GPU scheduling, the GTN 750 works perfectly. For performance reasons, I would only like to leave the hardware accelerated GPU scheduling switched on. Is there a solution for this? Regards Christian

Notes: On my first install of RXP GTN750 I had problems because it updated the F1 Garmin Trainer (old version 2710). My error, I had not read the manual. For now I uninstalled F1 GTN750 which I use in several payware aircraft: Alabeo PA31 Alabeo C310R Flysimware C441 I also uninstalled the RXP GTN705 to start over. Hi all, Hoping someone can help. I am rebuilding an old B206 simulator under FSXSE as a favour for a friend who doesn't want to change to XPlane or MSFS2020. I have Panel Builder, FSXSE and RealityXP GTN750 on the same computer, and it's all running surprisingly well. However, I am seeing some odd - and 100% repeatable - behaviour with the GTN750 and the HSI. When the SIM starts, the HSI GS NAV indicators are red, and the needle shows no left/right deviation. I’ve been using the Garmin GTN 750 for several years now in Prepare 3d, so I’m quite familiar with how it operates. During a recent upgrade to P3d v5.3, I could not get my present installation, a F1 GTN Complete to function. Assuming that the new sim version was the cause, I ran the updater/went to the F1 website. Unfortunately, I ultimately discovered that support for the F1 GTN Complete had been discontinued. Luckily, I also had heard that the developer had joined the Reality XP team. I have tried a variety of options for enabling GS for both RNAV and ILS approaches but nothing has worked. I have the December update for the GNS750. LNAV works fine. I just installed the 2 gtn750 in Turbine Duke. I started the engines turned on master avionics switch and both 750s are black. How do I turn them in? I used the Duke configurator to place them on the panel. Thanks Paul

So before people get mad that this question has already been “answered” I have looked at several posts in this forum in regards to this topic but there is really no “yes”, or “no”. It really has not been explained in a simple term. I ported over from F1 because they stopped updating their GTN. One thing that I loved about the F1 GTN is that I could shoot RNAV, and visual approaches that had a glide slope when weather got hairy. It was the one tool that made the GTN invaluable to me. Since making the move to RXP, I have found that the VNAV function is not working. At my base airport, the same visual approach that had a glideslope that I use just about every week no longer …

I ran into another issue with my RXP 750. When I was coming in to land my TCAS was going crazy and 10+ objects popped up on my screen. Of course I didn’t see any airplanes around me so I thought it was glitching…. Until a flock of birds flew past my cockpit window. I have this wildlife autogen program for my P3D that creates birds at different altitudes but with my F1 750 it never actually picked them up as airplanes. But my RXP 750 does. Any way I can stop this from happening?

I have the Milviz PC6 for P3D5 reinstalled, with a 750 and 650 combo. The units both work ok in the VC. Either of the 750 or 650 pops up as a window quite happily, but the other then causes a CTD when I try to open the pop up. Hi, I am having a problem in that I can not get the GTN 650 of the GTN 750/650 pair to power on . I just purchased this and also have had the same problem for a couple of years with the GNS430 of the GNS 530/430 pair I have used up to now. The 750 powers on just fine and looks fantastic; I just get no response from the 650 from XP Reality. What is also peculiar to me is that some planes already have a 430 installed in them and I am able to get that unit powered on, just not the XP Reality version,which I would prefer. I just bought the FSW Lear 35A for myself for my birthday present to me. On special now. I tried to set it up with GTN 750 1 and 2. I used FSW configuration to set the VC panel bezel but only forthe GTN 750, on the right in the 2 position was live. I tried to use RXPs Panel Manager to set it up but only succeeded in freezing the sim. So, I reset it up to use one GTN 750 and that came up live with no help needed from the RXP manager. This is in p3d v4.5. Has anyone successfully set this aircraft up with dual GTNs? Help please. Thanks.

I have searched high and low for a GTN 750 mod for the Carenado B1900 for P3D. There are mods out there for X-Plane but I have not found one for P3D. If anyone has successfully got it running, could you please share it here? Regards, TS

I reinstalled the GTN 750 into the Carenado Saab 340 and shift-9 used to work for me to popup the gauge. I thought the setup automatically did this. Any ideas how to get the popup for the GTN750 to work, I cannot remember how to do it. I know there is a way I can manually edit the panel.cfg. Regards TS

The GTN750 says that my flight plan has locked waypoints and that I should unlock them. I have found not way to do so. Can anyone tell me how to unlock the waypoints as the 750 instructs me to?

Purchased in 2020 thru F1. Have downloaded installer and upgraded to current version. Now getting Invalid License message. All "Keys" are in the install folder. Help appreciated, -B
