RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I went to reality-xp.com to purchase GTN 750 and I wanted to use the 30% coupon. The link comes as a cpn file. My PC does not know how to open it and I had no idea what app to select to do it. Can somebody please explain how to use the coupon? What's a cpn file? Windows 10 newbie here. Since June 25th first time back with a PC since 2005. Things are different.

Hello, After installing and configuring Reality Xp for A2A Bonanza v35 (P3DV5) all works, except when I switch on gps panel the COM1 frequency between standby and active. The frequency switch doesn't work, becouse when I request clearence with pro-atc nothing happens.; moreover, if I display pro-atc flight plan information it always display the same active frequency, it doesn't change when I switch from stanby to active. Any idea? Thank you. Igor

For some reason the 750 will not recognize my charts? Maybe a path error to the chart folder? Jon

Just bought the GTN 750 and ran the installer and spent the last couple days trying to troubleshoot it in stock FSX. I have a stable FSX installation started from the original DVD's on a Win7Pro box with multiple extra items including the old RealityXP 430WAAS GPS working and multiple airplanes by Carenado, Milviz, etc. The user's manual references the "Add-On" menu and the troubleshooting section mentions an installer file "SimConnect.msi on the original installation disks". Hello RXP team, I bought this morning the GTN750 in order to use it under FS9. I installed all necessary trainers according to your installer. Unfortunatly I have a warning into FS9 telling "a debugger has been found running in your system please unload it from memory and restart program". This appear when I select the plane where the GTN750 is installed (through pop up menu) I deactivated my Avira anti virus= same problem I add all anti virus exeption to all Rality XP and Garmin trainers folders= same problem I tried several times to remove everything and reinstall from scrapp= no effects It seems that this message is triggered from the gauge itsel…

It all started when I noticed a problem with the sound levels in P3D v5. In an effort to fix that, I deleted the P3D v5 client and re-installed it from my saved download. No change in the sound problem. Next I deleted two of the folders called out in Prepar3D_Download_and_Install_Instructions_v5, then restarted P3D, figuring the files would rebuild. Same sound problem, but now my GTN 650 and 750 doesn't start when I switch on the avionics in any of my aircraft. Now I've got a workaround for the sound issue, but haven't been able to get my RXP GTNs working. The Garmin Trainer is working fine. Good evening, I’m attempting to add the GTN650 to a vcockpit. There is a separate panel config set up that I can add for the F1 GTN 650 and 750 plus the Milviz weather radar. In the panel file, I see the following entries: gauge00=F1GTN!GTN750VC,0,0,677,794,UNIT1.VC gauge00=F1GTN!GTN650VC,0,0,677,300,UNIT1.VC I’m guessing that I change the first string of letters to rxpGTN!GTNxxx_1. What do I change the ‘UNIT1.VC’ or do I just leave it? In the panel folder there is a file F1GTNSTACK. In the plane’s main folder there is a F1GTN config settings file. Should I delete both of those files and copy & paste a rxpGTN config file from another aircraft?…

Hi there, Just recently installed the GTN750 into P3D v4, but when I loaded into the sim the screen for the GTN was completely black even when aircraft was powered up (power was set to Always On in settings). This wasn't just the physical unit in the Carenado ATR, but also in the RXP popups. I also tried with other aircraft and the popups in them were also completely black. I have tried reinstalling the RXP itself a few times and I've also removed the GTN Trainer and reinstalled that. Hello, I just updated the GTN 750 to the last Garmin trainer and now I have not databases in Realityx XP GTN 750 and 650. I run the Garmin trainer and the databases are already available, all good. Anybody help me? Thanks and regards

I have been trying to get my Reality GTN 750 and 650 working after I had a problem with the installation screen turning black with Flight Sim X not responding. As part of the trouble shooting I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of my Reality products. When I did that I found that the only version of the Garmin trainer that would work with it is the 6.21 version with the out dated NAV data. Before I know that I was able to use updated version of the Trainer because the airport that I fly out of in real life just changed the runway numbers and when I purchased the 750 I got the new runway information with it. Hi all, Since prepar3d v5 8.33 khz frequency spacing is supported and the Garmin Trainer itself also supports it. As European airspace is so tight they rely a lot on that instead of the older 25 kHz spacing. And as I use the Navigraph based airspace data by FSAerodata I need a device that supports 8.33 spacing. The default radios do but my F1 GTN Complete unit does not. Like I said, the Garmin Trainer also supports it but the issue is the F1 interface between trainer and sim. F1 has confirmed it is not supported and hinted that is unlikely to change as it is not exactly a best seller. So here is my question: does RXP GTN support 8.33khz spacing? Any of you …

Did a fresh P3D reinstall, uninstalled RXP GTN and the Garmin Trainer. Deleted all traces and when I redownload the RXP GTN. It runs the garmin trainer which is expected but it shows the nav data is already installed when its not. It downloads the GTN Trainer and says the nav data is there so it skips. I have no nav database in the sim or in the trainer. .

Good morning. I have purchased the Reality XP 750 for my A2A aircraft. It will only load into 1 plane (Bonanza) It will not load into any others after i have changed the GPS settings for the planes. Please help or suggest what I need to do in order to get this working

I followed Nirgal's instructions for the 182 and ended up with a system that displays correctly; however, the autopilot in the 182 fails to follow the GPS guidance. It just turns the plane north to a track of ~005 and locks it there. I've tried this at several locations and I get the same results.

Hey y’all, I got 2 updates this week for my GTN and GNS I guess for P3Dv5.1, and on the second update I accidently closed the window for the GTN update, I have rebooted several times and have been waiting all day but I’m not getting a notification for the update again. This would be the second update this week for the GTN, is there anywhere I can go download it? How do I trigger this again, NOTE I use Edge and have NO IDEA how to enable RRS feeds for MS Edge. thanks

I recently updated Prepare3D V5.1 to Hotfix 1. Now Gtn 750 is not flight following. This worked fine before update.

Seeing as there are a number of Android/iPad apps for flightsims that work using a wifi server program installed on the FS PC why not develope a utility like that for your GTN/GTS products? The FS tablet apps I've used, FsRadioPanel and IFMS Android work very well and a lot of people have tablets. People would pay for that tech. Just a suggestion.

I'm new to RXP GTN750, but have some experience with the F1 GTN 750. Here my problem: Sitting in my a2a C172 @ KFHR I enter a flight plan KFHR-PAE-KBFI-KTIW. After T/O from RW 16 I'm flying dir 130°, @ 1000ft AGL I activate the AP. As soon as I activate the NAV mode in the AP the a/c turns left and is steering North @ exactly 360 °. OCI is set to GPS, and the green GPS light of the a/c indicates that it is activated correctly. What is going wrong? Even when I delete the flight plan, and I choose any way point in the are, and activate it with the Direct-to key ... the same problem comes again and the a/c turns to North no matter what direction it was going before. …

Hi, I did post in an old thread on the other forum (430), but thought I would ask here. Has anyone got the GTN 650 working with the PMDG DC-6? I can get it installed in the 2D window, but I fly VR and would really need it in the virtual cockpit. The PMDG options page gives the option to install the F1 version (which I suppose you could then replace using the wizzard), but as I don't have the F1 version I am unable to do this. Picked up this fine product earlier today; followed the installation instructions but I cannot get my panels to populate. The two aircraft I am using are the C310R and the DHC-2 Beaver. The pop-up GTN 750 works fine. However, I am getting no or poor results when I move on to actually replacing the gauge. In some instances nothing happens and the latest try has resulted in both the 530 and 430 being rendered inop. Removing the gauges using the add on manger does not rectify.
