RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I made the change today and I have a question. Can the F1 flight plans be transferred to the RXP GTN750 unit? Thanks Barry

I am upgrading different aircraft with GTN and I could get a better fit by removing some un-necessary units like the King Audio Panels. I was under the impression that Audio Control is built into the GTN. Is that so? Also in my 421 Golden Eagle the Audio Panel was removed when I installed the GTN 750. Thanks.

It looks to me like there would be space with the original audio panel removed and the GNS 430 2 moved lower. Any ideas?

I find this interesting software, but wonder if it is useful when flying mainly in European airspace. Does it cover European airports, charts, navaids and terrain as detailed as the e.g. the US? Regards, JWS

If I switch to Reality XP do I have to delete F1's software first before installing Reality's 750/650/530/430 so there are no conflicts? My platform is P3Dv4.5. Thanks, Pat

I have purchased the GTN 750 and have it installed. I use FS9 because I have extensive scenery and aircraft for that version. The first issue I am having is that on any regular approach (I'm a PIRL) to any airport, even though the gear and the flaps are down, the unit give me a TAWS A "Too Low Gear" warning. This happens at all airports (Tried over 30) and I have checked all settings, but can't get it to go away. Secondly, the Visual Approach mode lands short of the runway and doesn't display glideslope information on most EADI's. If I change the gauge out to one that the glideslope information does display on, the aircraft still lands short. - about 300 t…

For the last few months I can not get my GTN 625, 635, or 650 to work. GTN 750 works just fine. They all of a sudden stopped working. I have reinstalled Garmin Trainers and RealityXP files. Still having no luck. Any ideas?

The title says it all. Since it is already part of the GNS series, I was wondering when crossfill will be a thing for the GTN series. I know about the alternative method but the ability to crossfill would also be nice and saves a bit of time imo. Great product otherwise 😉

In 2018, I purchased the RXP GTN 650 for Xplane 11. It never worked for me. I always only had a black screen. I now think I know why. I had a small solid state C drive and XP11 was on my D drive. I've recently upgraded my C drive. I decided to see if the GTN 650 would work. I received a message that there was a newer version to download, so I did. Now, when I start XP11, the GTN comes up fine but I get an error message that the license is invalid. Not sure what to do.

Hello I installed the rxp gtn750 and 650 in my planes, so I display them on the 3D panel and on a remote tablet. Everything works perfectly except that I cannot decrease the screen brightness only on the panel. The Configuration panel / Display settings / Adjust the brightness ---> will changes the screen brightness on the dashboard AND on the tablet. On the tablet: System / Backlight setting / Backlight level selection ---> change the screen brightness on the dashboard AND on the tablet. Is there a way to only change the screen brightness on the plane?

Before I had TAWS-B running, but my GTN changed to Terrain Proximity... Is this an update feature.. or something I did?

Hello, I am downloaded the setup file using rxpGTN-750-FSIM.exe. When setup file has been downloaded, I try to install but there is not a P3Dv5 option for select, there is only v4 or below. How I must to install on P3Dv5? Thanks and regards.

Hello I am in need of some help getting my checklists to show up in the GTN 750 I originally made one for my A2A C172 and it was working so I added one for my A2A Comanche and suddenly no checklist was working. I have the checklist.gtn in the correct folder and I tried to rename the file to .ace and nothing is working. I have the Reality XP GTN 750 installed P3d v 4.5 my checklist.gtn file is in my airplane folder with the RXP.ini file...I have the most up to date version of the GTN 750 and the trainers. The checklists were made in the Garmin Checklist editor and saved. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you John

HI, I am having trouble with my keyboard shortcuts for the Reality XP GTN software. I have successfully configured a few keyboard short cuts as described in the Manual and placed them in the RealityXP GTN.ini file. I have configured :- . . . . DTO_1 = ALT+D HOME_1 = ALT+H DTO_2 = CTRL+D HOME_2 = CTRL+H . . . . And these activate the appropriate buttons when P3D V4 is running as expected The trouble is with this active I can no longer use the CTRL key properly in other programs while Prepar3d is active. There is also an Issue with the SHIFT key when I use it in replacement to the CTRL key in the file above. …

Is it possible to assign 2 Cores or 2 Logical Processors (in case HT is On) in RealityXP.GTN.ini? Will comma or other punctuation marks work for that? Thanks.

I am missing the import flight plan feature it is not showing up in the GTN

I run both P3Dv5 and XP11. Main screen is two projectors as an Nvidia Surround 3840 x 1080. Second Screen is a Ruscool Aspen EFD1000 Third screen is a RealSImGear GTN750 When I run XP11 everything works great. I nobezel the GTN popout, move to the RSG GTN750 and enjoy flying When I run P3Dv5 the no bezel GTN750 screen shows up fine until I move it to the RSG GTN750 and then as soon as a drop it the screen goes blank. If I move it back to the main screen is shows up again. Longshot that anyone else is running similar config, but any ideas how to fix it (besides just fly XP11) 🙂

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, but not new to RXP products. I have most of the legacy items and they still work. What I would like to know, is it possible to get anything other then the US and Canada data bases for the GTN750? I do a lot of my flight sim flying in the Caribbean and in the Nepal regions, (I'm a PIRL) and enjoy the extra challenges these areas have to offer. Also, if there is not a data base for those areas, can I still use the GTN750 for my GPS in that area? ie...will it read the maps already in FS9? Not a deal breaker, but it is what I would prefer.
