RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Everyone, I have a problem with the image when using EMB505 Phenom 300, how can I solve it, or anyone who has a panel.cfg configuration file for EMB505 Phenom 300, can you share

So, I recently set up a P3Dv4.5 installation. Already have FSX-SE. I have had lots of troubles getting P3D4 set up right and now it is with default planes. One of the troubles I had with it were CTDs caused by my Garmin GTN trainer. I have also had issues at times in FSX. What I want to do is clear all RXP out and start fresh. No empty folders or any other errors. I want clean and new. How do I completely remove all RXP and Garmin files so I can safely install new into both simulations? Thanks.

My autopilot does not work after the 5.2. update..

Having had a a few problems with a previous install this April, I gave up, and completely uninstalled it, using an uninstall tool. I have decided to have another go, and downloaded, but not installed anything as yet. My sim, P3Dv4.5 resides in my E: Drive. I presume the GTN will install in C Drive. Will this cause any problems, I seem to remember also not to install as admin, is that correct ? Cheers, Neil

Will the 750 capture a VNAV profile if I set it up in the unit the two yellow bars on the HSI are not there and I wonder if it is advisuary only?

Hello. I just updated all the Reality XP GPS trainers for P3D v5 and now none of them work in the only four planes I use them in. The A2A 182, Cherokee, Comanche, and Bonanza. I'm having trouble getting the config options to display (usually SHIFT+ Right Click), in order to set üse default gps options for it to work with my realsimgear device. Is there a way to get the menue to show? Every time I hover over the gauge in the VC and press shift, it turns to a gloved pointer and does nothing.

I have been helped by Jean-Luc and Bert in sorting out a couple of problems and in particular getting the GTN750 working well. The notes from June 2020 made it work based on lots of posts which I've been through at least twice. Now the buttons on the panel GTN work - Home, Direct to, Volume. However the bottom right button does not respond - can't chg freq using this. After all the help and all the work you guys have done (most of it over my head) I feel cheeky asking, but it would complete the installation and be perfect. 🤥 PS It's FSX SE with an Alabeo Aztec

After superb help from several members I now have the GTN750 up and running. And it's awsome. Thanks guys. Strange to find though there is a difference between the Direction Indicator and the Heading shown on the 750 screen. I'm being picky at 2-3 degrees but then I'm being picky. I wonder where the two get their data from and maybe I have to configure yet something else? I even wondered if it was a parallax error but no - I changed my position and no difference. Can I anyone help get rid of it?

Does the GTN 750 work on a touch screen monitor? Does the gps user interface work this way, or do I have to point & click with a mouse? The main reason I want to buy the gauge is to use it this way on a second monitor which is a touch screen. Edit : Windows 10 & P3D v5 HF2.

I recently switched from the F1 GTN to the Reality XP GTN. Now whenever I start a flight the GTN popup comes up. Is there a way to stop this from popping up when I start a flight?

I am using FSX SE and an Alabeo Aztec and until yesterday I had the Reality XP 530W and all was fine. I decided to update to their GTN750. I used the add-on to revert to the default 530 thinking that would be a good plan. Somehow after that I ended up with the 750 blank screen in the aircraft before I even got the add-on working. Basically it was the 750 frame with knobs etc but no image on the screen. I now have the 750 Add-on (I still have the 530 add-on as well). When I configure to get the unit working I end up with the new screen inside the one I mention above and only two thirds of the screen is visible. Clicking to get a pop up gets me the 530! I c…

Hi Jean-Luc & Friends, I am running the P3Dv5 GTN with the latest Garmin Trainer installed via the last update installer. I also run the Elite Sim and use it for my work as an Instructor. In the Elite, I have installed the GTN plug-in. Unfortunately this plug in uses quite an old version of the GTN Trainer. As expected, the Trainer installers won't allow a dual installation. I have been studying page 22 of the latest installed User Guide on this topic, and have come to a brick wall. In the section "Installing Multiple Garmin Trainers", item 2, I cannot find any such path ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\GTN Trainer\GTN\sys\") in my Trainer inst…

Hi fellas, I was flying today and tried to start recording a video using Alt+F9 (which is the default keyboard shortcut for the GeForce Experience video recorder). I noticed that the 750 froze. I didn’t make the connection, so I restarted the flight, did the same thing, and it froze again. This time I hit Alt+F9 again and the 750 resumes working. The problem is of course that it also stopped my recording. What does Alt+F9 do to the 750? I looked at the user guide and didn’t see anything. Thanks!

Just purchased and installed a copy of RXP GTN 750 on FSX platform. After configuring the GTN for an FSX aircraft, the GTN startup screen showed "Database Not Found". SW Version: 6.62.0 TRNG Reality XP: 2.5.25

After reinstalling using the new eCommerce file, selecting reinstall in the F1 wrapper, then running the setup file, I'm getting stuck at a warning message that says: "The installation/removal of a previous program was not completed. You will need to restart your computer to complete that installation" I've restarted several times but can't seem to get past this point. I uninstalled the garmin trainer as well but that didn't seem to help. Am I missing an old file somewhere? Or maybe a registry entry?

I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the brightness of the VC panel. The GTN 750 brightness in the VC panel is brighter than that of the popup. So I would like the two to be about the same brightness. I have tried the configuration panel (shift and right click) as well as the in panel brightness adjustment. There does not seem to be a way to reduce the screen brightness for the VC panel without lowering the brightness of the popup panel.

I just wanted to make a post to say thank you for the existence of this forum. Yesterday I got tired of not being able to update my F1 GTN complete because F1 was not going to do an update to the latest trainer. I also use the Reality XP GTN for X Plane so having two different versions was causing an issue and the last time I did an update I discovered that the latest trainer installers do not allow you to install a previous version but instead force the installation of the latest trainer and will not install if you shut off your internet connection. I was fortunate to have found an off line installer for the previous version which enabled me to restore that …

Have just bought and downloaded the GTN 750. I used to have the F1 750GTN some time ago, but have deleted it. However, on loading an aircraft , and clicking the GTN 750 icon, it loads onto the panel, but the following notices, in yellow appear. Navigation, Base Map, Obstacle, Safe Taxi Terrain. Not Found. Charts, Not Available. Have tried loading into different aircraft with the same result. What is going on !!! I purchased the RXP GTN750 through F1 in 2018. Decided to reinstall today and downloaded the installer via the F1 purchase agent - but the version I received has no option to install into v5. Any suggestions ?

I installed the RXP GTN 750 into the Carenado Beech D18 using the F1 GTN replacement function. Although I can tune the NAV1 radio signal and the HSI seems to pick it up as the pointer will point towards the VOR when I adjust the course but the NAV flag in the HSI does not disappear and the autopilot will not follow the course and the HSI will not display or capture the glideslope if tuned to an ILS. I made sure the GTN 750 is set to VLOC and the autopilot is set to NAV but I can not get it to work. Is there a hidden GPS/VNAV switch or setting on the GTN 750 settings I am missing. I know it worked earlier in the year, but all of the sudden i am getting a black screen, and a GTN: failed to open simulation message in the rxpGTN.gau file.
