RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Maybe this has been asked before but what are you guys doing to fly a ils with the gtn 750 in p3d. The reality xp gtn does not have a cdi button to change from gps to vloc and i can only get lnav on an ils IM not getting any glideslope in prepar3d. maybe im missing something but this same reality-xp product has this feature in xplane . In the documentation for the p3d 750 it says that vloc and the cdi button are not modeled so what is the work around in order to get a gs advice appreciated Pete

I've bought the GTN 750 yesterday and so far it unfortunately has been very rough. After I had to install it four times (reaons were:first no databaseses, then twice a black screen, when it finally workedafter installing it the fourth time, at least it did turn on and load the DBs). Also, the Garmin Trainer launcher is very poorly done IMO, which has made things even less pleasant for me. I now installed the GTN in the following A2A aircraft: Bonanza,Comanche, C 182 Skylane, the issues are the same for all three: The flight plan is loaded correctly but the AP isn't following the course at all, instead the aircraft starts flying a circle or just in a random direction, the…

Hi, does anyone know how to zoom in and out of a map in the GTN map window (not the window but the map) using keyboard keys?

how will the install go? i heard it uses the same trainer folder, i don't understand? do i need to install in a different directory?

Hi Folks, I have both the F1 GTN 650 and 750 which I've installed into a lot of aircraft. And now that the F1 GTN has ceased I can see a need for migration over to the RXP versions which I have purchased. But it's going to take time to migrate and my question is can both be installed and used concurrently so I can migrate over each aircraft at a leisurely pace. Cheers

Hi, I'm flying the A2A Cherokee on FSX-SE and XRP GTN 750. I haven't flown an ILS for a few months I have flown RNP approaches with no problems. Today I flew an ILS approach into EGTK. Everything worked fine until I was capturing the ILS. The GTN went from GPS to VLOC automatically as it should, but the HSI flags showed no ILS and no GS. I have just flown an RNP approach and everything worked fine lateral and vertical guidance. have I missed a setting somewhere? Also the Visual approach gives a message "Vertical Guidance not available"

Hi everyone, my F1 GTN 750 has completely died (RIP) and I need another one to fly my usual way! So before buying the RXP tool I need to know if it works with Flight Simulator X Acceleration SP2, OS WIN 7 professional. Is there anyone who can answer my question and help me to fly again. ????

Newly installed P3Dv5.3 with latest hotfix...newly installed RXP GTN version 2.5.29, in 3 different newly installed aircraft (Carenado C56XL, Carenado Phenom 300, Flysimware Falcon 50). The GTN powers up but there is no navigation or terrain database. The map screen is blank. Nearest airport shows none. No waypoints, VORs, procedures, etc to find. And 3 of the main screen funtions are unavailable (Traffic, Weather, Services). All 3 functions are faaded out and can't be clicked. System status shows using Garmin trainer 6.62.4. Tried updating the Garmin trainer to the newer versions that are available but since they're not compatible with the RXP that was no help.

Is there any plan for Garmin to update their trainer anytime soon?? I’m finding that most SIDS/STARS are not even current. It’s frustrating because when flying with current charts from Navigraph. And plus PROATCX Is using updated charts from navigraph so the only thing out of date is the garmin system.

Hi! I`ve had the RXP GTN 750 for a couple of months now and everything has worked flawlessly so far. Recently I made PC upgrade that has allowed me to try VR with and old Oculus Rift CV1. This is when my issue started, the GTN is practically unresponsive in VR mode with little to no input, this happens with VC integration as well as in pop up 2D mode. The only way to fix it is exiting VR mode. Tried programing everything, routes, sids and stars in normal mode, than entering VR mode just before takeoff, and it helps but still moving map is very laggy and sometimes completely freezes. Hello! I wanted to know if it would be possible to have a button on my Yoke to mark of a check on my checklist on the GTN? Would this be something possible with a lua script or manipulated with a dataref? This would be a super useful feature to check something off while flying. Kayden

Hello, when I open "Garmin Aviation Trainer" advisories says that GTN xi (v20.01) must be downloaded. When I try so I get time after time an error. It mention a secure channel failure , ssl/tls. (internet problem) And the trainer does not install. I tried also data base setup msi cab 1-8. But that also does not work for me. The GTN750 frame stays empty in the A2A skylane. Whats wrong? Hi, I would like to know whether is possible to change the upper side of the GTN 750, specially the Audio Panel, Intercom, Mic and Mon to GS, DIS,DTK and TRK. Sometimes I see some pictures containing this format. I know how to change the four corners of the map data fields, but those at the top I have no idea. Thanks for your attention.

I am presently using the RXP GTN 750 in P3D v5.3. I loaded it up tonight in the Carenado 690B Turbo Commander. When the gauge comes up instead of having the Audio panel, intercom,mic,mon,XPDR and squawk, it had GSL, dis,GS and TRK. Prior to reinstalling the Aircraft the installed gauge read normal. I have gone through all setup menus and read down through the user's manual to see if I can get it back to default. I do not see a difference in the ini. file when I compare it to other aircraft. purchased reality xp 750/650 bundle on week ago, primarily for milviz cessna 310 running in xplane 11.55. The 310 plug in has option to use the reality xp products. When selected the bezels are there but the products won't "turn on". This is on Windows 10. I have tried all of the power options in the reality xp plug in settings. Additionally I selected the 750 for the 2 panels in the airfoil labs beech craft king air 350. The heading feature in the auto pilot works but the nav feature won't follow the flight plan. Very disappointed so far.

I recently updated the sim to version 5.3. All of my A2A GA aircraft have the GTN 750 equipped, and it worked perfectly fine in 5.2. Today I decided to take out the A2A Bonanaza out for a quick cruise, for the first time in 5.3. But unfortunately I had to find out that the GTN did power up as it should and load the FPLN correctly, however the aircraft does not follow the fligthpath. The AP of the Bonanza seems to work in general, meaning it can be switched on and all other modes esxcept NAV are followed correctly by the aircraft.

Hello, Following PC crash. While installing my backup copy of the GTN 750 of RXP impossible to reinstall the Garmin GTN/GDU Trainer. Hello Guys, I own the RXP 750 and the TDS 750, the latter for use in MSFS 2020 as Reality XP does not support it...so at present no 750 in Prepar3d I would like them both onto my Real Sim Gear 750.. At present I don't seem to be able to that for both. I can get the TDS 750 onto the RSG and all works OK .. However, when trying to use the RXP version it will not work as they use a different Garmin trainer, the TDS uses the most current. Is there a way to get them to play nicely, can I have 2 different Garmin trainer installations in different places? , one for the TDS ands the other for RXP so I can use it in Prepa…

After a being seduced by MSFS scenery for many months...I am back. Seems crazy to have P3Dv4.5 with lots of great aircraft and airport sceneries and not use them.....Predominantly, I fly the big airlines or bizjets and once out of the airport surrounds, the sceneries are the same. Anyway..... This caused me to get the RXP GTN750 cranking again in the PC12. I think I updated the RXP GTN to 2.5.29. and the start screen says SW version 6.62.4 and garmine says v3.3.1.0 What do all the other comments mean, and can I remedy them? Hi guys I was just wondering, is there a way to reset the GTN 750 after a flight? For some reason the first flight always follows the flight plan perfectly but when I do a second flight, it sort of goes off course either to the left or right... any solution? Best wishes Alex

I did a flight today and noticed my GTN 750 in P3Dv5.3 is not picking up VOR freq or ILS freq. Today it was LWT 115.45 and the other day I was doing ILS at Spokane Washington KGEG runway 03. Billings MT ILS runway 10 does not work either. At Lewiston, MT you can be right over VOR and will not register. Is there a way to update Freq? Thanks for help. Dick

Hi everyone! Can anyone could confirm if the G600 in the avionics of the Alabeo PA31 Chieftain is compatible with RXP GTN750?
