RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hi guys, Does it matter what trainer version I use for Prepar3d? I have 3.2.3.0 installed? Dave

I'm confused. The software indicates FSX for Steam and FSX ACC. I used the boxed version of FSX. Will the GTN 750 work with that, or is it solely for FSX Steam and Accelerator versions? Thanks.

Hi, since a couple of flights I see the following problem: The whole flight, from T/O to descent operates normaly with "OBS" button in GPS mode. When I get the rwy info I´m unable to deselect the GPS mode and switch to VLOC. - The ILS freq is selected, but without indication -switching the A/P from nav to hdg let me change the heading flying without problem - the "OBS" button still shows GPS I did not change anything, but I´m sure one setting is changed, but which one? Hi Guys, I own both the Reality XP GTN 750 to use in Prepar3d v 5.3 and another one for another simulator. It seems they use different Garmin trainers as they seem to not play nicely together (If one works, the other doesn't after the recent Reality XP update. Is tis correct or can I point them both to use the same trainer..the version beginning with 3.23...does reality xp use this version? Dave

I use p3d v5.3 with the spacedesk app which works fine to drag pop-out gauges (e.g. GPS) via wifi to an android tablet. Will your GTN gauge work with this setup - will the touch screen work? Or is there another way I can use your gauge on the tablet? (Asking before purchase! 🙂 )

Sorry for the dumb question. When you get a update and you hit update in configuration panel. Where should it be saved? am running Win 10. There is a Garmin directory in the C: drive in the Program data and Program Files (86). I am running P3D on my D: Drive,. I don't see anyplace in P3D directory. Sorry Dick

Hello, I recently bought the Reality XP GTN 750 Add-on, I was previously using Reality XP GNS 530 with a Digital Aviation Piper Cheyenne II in FSX. When I switch to GPS mode, the HSI changes to the the GPS course correctly, but the CDI stays centered and because of that the NAV mode on the Autopilot stays armed and does not activate, any possible solution?? I bougth GTN750 for p3d. I try to install it in the Carenado ATR72 but I have a basic question I have seen it installed by other users in the middle of the FMCs close to the throttles. There is an empty space there for that. I wonder now what I have to choose in the settings: Configure reality xp popup windows or replace gauges with reality xp gtn as indicated in the video tutorial in https://help.realsimgear.com/en/articles/4324239-setup-for-realityxp-for-fsx-and-p3d. I dont know what is the difference between the two options was is the general choice? Thanks in advance!!

G'day, I'm a newbie to this interface and I have a few questions, seeking clarification & some help please. 1) The traffic icon on my home screen is not highlighted and is inactive. Is this normal or I haven't configured something correctly? 2) The same applies for the weather icon, it also is not highlighted and is inactive. Is this normal or I haven't configured something correctly? 3) The chart icon is highlighted yet doesn't display charts etc when an airport is entered and charts selected. Should it or I haven't configured something correctly? I use Prepar3d v5.

I just purchased GTN 750/650 last week and got it installed. I am using P3D v5.3 as a simulator. I was able to get switched from F1 GTN to RXP bu using the add on configure tool. Took a flight today and noticed I do not have the Traffic, Weather or Services functions on face page. I can not find in any of the literature if these are part of the gauge or not. I am wondering if the program got installed correctly. not worried about Weather or Services but would be nice to have the Traffic function. Any direction would be appreciated. Hello I just bought and installed RXP GTN 750 on my P3Dv4 simulator. replacing the previous software from F1 It turns out that now I can only activate the NAV/GPS switch by clicking the CDI button on the GPS. If I try to do it as I could do before through switching a programmed key on a hardware panel (via simconnect, Fsuipc, or P3d control setup), or using the cockpit switch itself, however it doesn't work.¡¡¡ Is there any way to modify this? I am really thinking of switching to the RXP GTN. I have FSX on one machine (older wind 7) and I have P3D on my new machine (Win 10). When in buy and install in P3D do have to buy another set of gauges for my FSX computer. Thanks Dock

FSX Steam and Carenado Aztec.I have just finished making a DIY Knobster which works fine with most of my AM panels.However in one situation I like to use two popouts from my Reality XP GTN750 - Unit 1 to control Nav1 and Unit 2 for Nav2 which works well with the mouse.I have replicated my problem by creating one new panel and inserted two AM GTN750 Overlays for the GTNs.The popouts are dragged onto the panel and lined up beneath the overlays. Howdy all. I recently switched from F1 GTN (deprecated) to Reality XP GTN 750. All seemed ok, but I recently noticed that the VNAV appears INOP. I have gone into the config settings and insured that VNAV not VCALC is selected. The GTN performs as expected with LNAV, but for me currently VNAV is INOP. I know this is not how the product works so I’m fairly confident I am doing something wrong. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated. Hello guys, New to RXP, already compreted the setup for my FSW LJ35A, but i notice the transponder is not working. I mean, the code changes as per introduced in the GTN(To IVAO Altitude - client i use), but the turn on(C Mode) / off or ident functions are not working. I notice my setup seems correct - Transponder is enabled, but not sure if i got to do something else: Ive read around about a script, but not sure if today(2022) i really need to mess with those settings to get it work. Hello all, I blew away my system and now going through the fun process of reloading it. I purchased the RXP GTN for P3D on F1 way back when. I'm trying to redownload it from them but the file is being flagged as a virus. I was able to use one of the update installers but now I'm getting a license error. Help 🙂 Thanks, Dan

My P3D V5.1. GTN now starts up with all navdata missing in the startup screen. Hello all, A quick question for all the GTN users who also use Chaseplane/EZCA. Is there a way to change the middle mouse button click on the radio knobs to a left click instead? I use the middle mouse button for camera controls with Chaseplane, which obviously precludes the use of the middle mouse button on the radio knobs. I have taken a cursory look through the code and the f1vc.xml topic, but cannot figure out if the middle mouse click is hard-coded into the .MDL file or it can be altered by the custom .xml file. May lack of familiarity with reading xml code as well as the numbers used make no sense to me without some more documentation. I'm theorizing that …

Hello all, I have the GTN 750 installed in the Carenado PC 12. Everything has been working great. The issue I'm having is the Master Device box seems to become unchecked somehow. I have to go into the setting and enable it each time I start the simulator to fly the aircraft. I'm using FSX SE. Is there a way that I can permanently enable this in the .ini file to keep the "MASTERDEVICE=True" setting no matter what unless I physically change it in the .ini file. Thanks
