RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I'm trying to get the 650 installed with a 750 for the xtreme prototypes Lear version 2.1 It's odd because the two popup GTN 750 and 650 will show. But the VC entry is not working. Any ideas? I did a mod for the Carenado C550 version 2 - can someone test to make sure it works before I post in main thread on mods? Hi Guys, Amateur alert! Does the RXP also use the standard nav data in FSX:SE? For example, I update Navaids and Intersections using the fine, free services of http://www.aero.sors.fr/navint.html. The default FSX GPS reads the updates, would RXP GTN750 read them too? I'm a stickler for updated navdata and I don't have thousands to buy updated Garmin databases. Thankyou!

I believe the latest trainers have updated Oct 2017 data. I installed the new trainer and the TXI thing for fun. In that main folder there are four subs: Databases GTN Launcher TXI In the databases sub folder I found a lot of new files dated from this month 2017. Try coping one at a time to see if they work.

I figured out how to get the unit to display wind speed and direction. The issue I am having is the wind speed is correct but the wind direction is not. I am comparing this to what prepar3d v4.1 is telling me and what also Active Sky for P3Dv4 and the aircraft I have that displays wind speed and direction.

I'm replacing F1 setup in the Carenado C550 v2. I did add the nobezel to true and that worked. Except even with the popup it won't take my mouse inputs. Meaning, neither the VC gauge or the 2d popup will take mouse input. Is this where I need to add the xml file to intercept default click commands? No matter what I do the database is showing 1611. I have a newer one. I added a environment variable for GTNSIMDATA to point to my DB folder but I don't think it's working. Anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Or where the default installation would be getting it's nav_db2.bin file from? edit: Finally solved this mystery - just took trial and error and renaming a lot of files!

Hi, a quick note to let you know we've identified a bug in a last minute change which makes the touchscreen not accurate/offset in the VC. We've now fixed it and we will release a small update tomorrow with the fix.

As I was flying an RNAV approach into KCMH Columbus International Airport I noticed the runway doesn't match position with the map causing me to almost landing in the grass. I'm going to assume the exact coordinates are not correct in some default airport sceneries. I checked other airports mostly add-ons and they were ok. EDIT: I checked with the GNS and the same issue. In comparison to the GNS units, the GTN units don't seem to be very "fluid" with respect to performance. Will there be any performance improvements in the next update?

Hi, I see on the rxp GTn manual the TCAD simulated is a Ryan 9900BX. But on the screen, i can't find zoom keys (and can't zoom in/out with mouse). According to the last real GTN manual ((for software 6.30, august 2017), the 9900BX has zoom keys, not the 9900B. and for all other thing also, it seems we have a 9900B, not a 9900BX. I have installed the GTN 750 in the PMDG DC-6 and the Carenado Citation C525A and the unit does not power on. Just a black screen. I click on Add-ons and selected Reality XP GTN then setup aircraft. I chose "Configure Reality XP GTN Popup Windows" and followed the instructions. Any suggestions?

Hi, i have a problem with GTN display. i use a NO_BEZEL for the GTN integrated into the VC (with a NO_BEZEL section into RaalityXP.GTN.ini) and a GTN using the DEFAULT section for Popup window. the NO_BEZEL use a brightness offset of -50 (because of HDR) and Popup one a brightness offset of 0 if the popup is not displayed, the VC GTN seems to flickering between the brightness of both section (it use the the good one and one time every 2 second or something like that, it uses the one of the DEFAULT section) if the popup is displayed, both unit (VC and Popup) are using brightness of DEFAULT section (and so, no more flickering) it happens on all…

Hi, A quick note to let you know we've further decided to delay the release of the update, one for stability reasons, and the other because we're adding a new feature that has been requested many times. I'm not satisfied with the 'black screen' fix so we rather ship a sound update with a little delay.

Hi, The GTN is nearly ready for release, and in the meantime, I've decided to open the curtain on different aspects, while at the same time, debunking some myth about FS and performance! Hello guys, I have done a bit of reading and I really just want a clarification. I am aware that this guage/software is available across a lot of platforms which is great news. I can't see any reference however to licenses. If I buy the GTN750 can I use it in all platforms ie FS9 FSX P3D FSW and Xplane or do I need a license for each platform? Regards Tony Chilcott

Greetings, Just wondering what sort of time frame are you expecting for the release of either of these GPS's for FSX-SE? I just did a complete rebuild of my FS PC and decided to move from FSX SP2 to SE. Very happy with the move and so far no compatibility issues except, unfortunately, the GNS. Bought it back in 2012 and been very happy with it since. Very disappointed to see it not work with SE. I would like to stay with RXP and get the new one (hopefully a discount for previous customers) if there is a reasonable ETA for release. Thanks!

I was wondering if the GTN750 that is planned to be released for P3D is being designed for v4? As of right now, the only other one that I know of is offered by a company who does not seem to have any appreciation for their customers, so if there is a chance of supporting someone else, that would be a good option.
