RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I went to install the 750 in the Turbine Duke and ran into a problem. I selected "Replace Gauges with Reality XP GTN (auto-detect)", selected the "no-bezel" option (it already has a bezel). It installed the GTN with a bezel...ugh. So I selected the "Remove" option so I could re-add now the place where I am installing it is gone from the options so it's not auto-detecting it any more. Help?

Hi, I managed to install the 750 into the A2A C182 by choosing the 2nd option. After some probing I found the click-spot for the pop-up on the lower lefthand bezel (top bezel for the D228). How do you close the pop up again? I know the right-click close option, but is there any other way? I am assuming it was correct to only use the 2nd option when installing (replace gauge). I read about keyboard shortcuts and the GTN.ini file. The default ALT+SHIFT+1 didn’t do anything for me. Could someone elaborate on how to use it or set it up, please.

Hi, New user here of the GTN 750. I mainly fly tubeliners but with the sale I couldn't resist the chance to buy the 750 with the intention of learning to use it in the GA aircraft supplied with P3Dv4. I've managed to get it to appear 2D in a popup window replacing the default GPS... but I haven't worked out how to get it to appear on the main panel in the 3D virtual cockpits. I've seen threads about installing the GTN into payware aircraft from A2A etc but has anyone installed it into the default GA aircraft? Thanks, Peter Jones.

Can the the GTNv2 Navigators be run on a Tablet (therefore, getting a truer touchscreen experience)? If so, would the Tablet need to be a "Windows" tablet?.....Or would Android do? Finally, my goal is to run it on a 10 inch tablet - can the GTN be (over) stretched to fill most of the screen....Thanks in advance for any info....bill.

Hi Folks, I am simply compelled to post regarding integrating the GTN into a VC. I thought I would only use my GTN in the Turbine Duke. However, I LOVE Citations, so with much trepidation downloaded again the Carenado V2 and installed into P3Dv4. The ability to seamlessly integrate the GTN into the panel is something to behold. Simply incredible - easy, simple and faultless. I also learned about the use of the "popright" selection in the RealityXP.GTN config file, courtesy of previous postings by RyanATC - why didn't I use this function before??? Anyway, Jean-Luc, just a simple "Thank you". This is truly an outstanding product. David

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I can't find the checklist menu within the utilities page. I'm using "GarminTrainerSetup_2000" for the trainer (version 6.41?) and GTN750 v 2.4.10 on Win7 and FSX. Running the trainer in demo mode doesn't show the checklist option. Appreciate any pointers to resolving this. Gerard

Hi Folks, Trying to get the RXP units to work with Bert's latest mods in the PC12... It takes the No Bezel option to fit in the 3D model... With the No Bezel option - I can't seem to right click to open the settings and in the VC - the buttons on the (absent) frame don't work... Are they all not included in the No Bezel option requiring you to open the 2D pop-up ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

I’ve added several airports and helipads into flight sim with afcad. They don’t show up in the gns 750. Is there a way to get the show up. It seems all addon airports don’t show up.

Did you see that Garmin has with their v6.xx GTN software updates added Ad Hoc Holds? Holds at any published or user defined fix? Well my new RXP GTN 750 rides on Garmin GTN Trainer v6.41. So here is a great real world review of how that works. Well explained and illustrated. Never added up the times I would have loved to have had this feature when sim flying.... Try it! Hi. I'm thinking about purchasing GTN 750 for P3Dv3.4 and P3Dv4.1, but have three questions first: 1. Can anyone please confirm that it is fully compatible with A2A Cherokee 180 (I mean, fully clickable in virtual cockpit, not just 2D panel, and can also control Cherokee's autopilot)? 2. I've heard that F1 GTN 750 have some issues with clicks not being registered (e.g. sometimes you need to press buttons twice). Does RXP GTN have this issue? 3. Can I install RXP GTN 750 into both P3Dv3 and v4 at the same time on a single PC with a single purchase?

Do the RXP versions of the 530/430/750/650 look for a specific version of P3D V4.x and will NOT work if it finds a version not officially listed? (similar to how the GTN/GNS work from F1) Cheers, Rob.

So with all these mods everyone's 3d VC buttons like Dto, the inner and outer knobs, and the HOME buttons work? I don't mean on the rxp popup gauges but the VC gauges?

Hi, I couldn't resist and bought the Just Flight PA-28R Turbo Arrow, mainly using the "IV". As per Bill's tutorial I used the F1 GTN integration and then the RXP GTN 750 tool to replace it with the RXP version. When I do that I have two bezels. When I use the NO_BEZEL in the panel.cfg, I only have the bezel from Just Flight, but the buttons don't work (Home, Direct-To, ...). Does anyone have an idea how to fix that, i.e. how to connect the Just Flight bezel buttons to the RXP GTN 750? Thank you in advance. Klaus

Watched most of these yesterday and today, and found a few independent videos as well. I saw somewhere in your information that the RXP GTN 750 uses Garmin GTN trainer v6.41. There are some touted features of that Garmin GTN software update that I did not find in their tutorial videos and do not clearly see them called out in your product information. So wondering if they are in your implementation of the GTN 750 based on trainer v6.41. Examples are the ability to add ad hoc holds (unpublished) at any fix; approach guidance for visual approaches; LNAV +V approaches without WAAS. Find those to be enhancements of interest. Hi, I have the GTN installed in P3D v3 and am displaying on a separate touch screen LCD, if there any way to lock the screen position as when I touch I can drag the screen position by accident.

Hi, GTN can export to fltsim format only. i would like to export it on a format that GTN can import. (like GNS can do with export flightplan function on catalog menu) why ?
