RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hello fellow RXP users, I have a problem (actually 2 now given the first problem seems to have created the 2nd). I purchased the RXP GTN750pack and installed a few weeks ago. I followed the instructions for installing it in the AS Cheyenne III as posted in the configuration thread for P3Dv4. That worked extremely well and I am very pleased with the way it performs and how the setup went. I since bought the A2A C182 and installed it and enjoying coming to grips with its habits. Does anyone know what the update frequency is for the GTN 750? By update frequency I mean how often the display information is updated. I am experiencing what I believe to be slow updates to the relative position of the aircraft and wind speed direction. I have looked in the user guide with no luck. Regards, Danny

It is now available a wonderful freeware new version of the Cessna U206 Turbine mark 1 for P3D4 (and older) as well as for FSX - see announcement here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/109190-Cessna-U206G-Soloy-Mark-1-V3-0-available?p=1123988#post1123988 It comes with a predefinition of the F1 GTN750 but I only have the RXP version for P3D4. If anyone has replaced the F1 for the RXP GTN750 in P3D4 can he/she please post here the relevant parts of the panel.cfg of the Cessna U206? Thanks

Hi, I installed GNS750 v2.4.11 update today and when I start P3dv4.1 I get an error "Garmin Trainer cannot start". This is the error log rxpGtnsim.dll.log I uninstalled both trainer and RXP and started from scratch but only to end up with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.... When I installed the GTN 750 I had to install .net framework. That installed, then I closed the window and it said someth9ing about an error may occur. I installed anyway. Configured the gauge from Addons and when launched I get an App crash. So I completely uninstalled everything except the registry settings using Revo Uninstaller. Restarted the computer, and reinstalled the GTN 750. Same issue. Here's what it says. Hello, I've made a hardware GTN750 with a small touchscreen but now the bezel is visual on my outside view monitor. Is it possible to remove the bezel in the 2d window mode? Is there a way to save the position of the GTN750 so that I don't have to drag and resize it for every flight? Another thing: when I tap the screen too long (right mouseclick), the GTN750 disappears, is that a bug? It would be nice to have an option of placing the GTN750 always 'on top', is that possible? With the 750 in LPV, APPROACH mode armed I am thus far unable to capture the glideslope. In fact, my Milviz aircraft do not even depict a glideslope on the HSI when not using the ILS... but I also have the A2A C182 and the glideslope works fine. Ideas? I've read on old (2009) posts elsewhere that at least early on the vertical mode was not supported due to sim limitations ?

Hello Someone would have managed to install the XP GTN 750 in this aircraft? I tried a thousand setups and nothing to do to incorporate it. I am using the popup while waiting for a solution. I know that F1 GTN works. Thank You.

Hello; I'm very interested in using this product in P3Dv4.1 I understand it is capable of saving created flight plans for future use? Also I read that this has the capability to accept flight plans created in garmin format from flight planning software? And ability to convert flight plans to import into simulator for atc? I have just purchased the GTN750, but am having a problem with the installation. After the initial setup screens I am getting a dialog box with "GARMIN" on the top right corner, and the message "Acquiring Trainer Launcher", and a progress bar that has not moved in two hours. I assume this a problem with downloading from the Garmin website and may be out of RealityXP control, but is there another way to directly download this software? I am running on Windows 7.1 64bit. EDIT: The download finally completed, but it was very slow!

I have the latest version of the GTN 750 installed as a pop-up gauge in a Cerasim UH-60L. Everything appears to work except I can not get traffic to appear on the map. When I go to the home page the traffic icon is greyed out/not selectable. I can see the traffic from my VR cockpit so I know the AI traffic is being injected. Any assistance would be appreciated. I was just flying the Turbine Duke at FL220. I had a 51 knot headwind and showed a groundspeed of 301 knots. That should not be possible. The most I should see with that headwind is 230 to 240. Gregg

As mentioned in another post, I got the 750 set up in my first plane last night. Installation in the Turbine Duke went smoothly and it worked perfectly on the first flight. I do have one issue however. Instead of the nice sculpted bezel that I should see, I have an ugly plain black bezel with no textures in the VC. Is this what others are seeing, or am I somehow covering up the Duke's bezel? Scott Edit: I am using the NO_BEZEL option.

Did anyone managed to install RXP GTN 750 into Carenado Grand Caravan C208B (with regular cockpit, not "EX" model)? Giving that this bird is heavily discounted now (simmarket, justflight), I would like to buy it, but it will be pretty much useless without GTN.

Hi Jean-Luc, Finally had a little time to mess with this... As per the dark screen we spoke of before... I installed the new RC update last night - still my unit in the PC12 would not power up... Then I installed the trainer software via the RXP installer and it did power up fine - it appears your gauge needs the trainer included with your installer - regardless of if you had the one F1 needed installer previously...
