RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hi, After a fresh install of Prepar3d v4 and my addons I ran into an error with the GTN750 and 650 installer. When it tries to download the Garmin GTN trainer I got a 'file not found error (404)', so I cannot finish the installation.

Has anyone been successful getting Ryan Butterworth's "f1vc.xml " gauge to work with the GTN 750 in the A2A Comanche to get operating knobs and keys in the virtual cockpit? I am using rxpGTN_750_2 in both the A2A C182 and Comanche 250. In the A2A C182 the f1vc.xml gauge works fine. I am using the same rxpGTN_750_2 gauge in the Comanche and a same-name gauge subfolder (rxpGTN) in the Comanche's panel folder with an identical f1vc.xml file. i.e. the parameter line, line 17, is the same in both the files for the 182 and for the Comanche. When flying on an IFR flightplan, airspace warnings really aren't needed and in complex airspace it gets tedious either living with a constant blinking icon or repeatedly clicking on it to read and shut off. Is there a way to disable? I have looked in the Garmin docs but haven't stumbled across anything. [I know as soon as I say this someone will point me to the correct page - and that's fine. My ego can survive a gentle nudge in the right direction 🙂 ] I HATE things blinking at me! Thanks, Scott

Hi! I own the A2A Comanche 250 for P3D v4 and I am thinking of getting a better GPS/NAV other than the default Garmin GNS 400 (it's way too simplified).. I am considering F1 GTN 650/750, MS GNS 430/530 or Reality XP GTN 650/750(because I also fly in XP 11). I know the former two is compatible with A2A, but because I also fly XP 11, I favor the RXP one. I am wondering if I can use flawlessly on the A2A( or in P3D)with RXP GTN 650/750? Thanks!

Can someone advise me about the database status on RXP 750 compared to F1 version I’ve had F1 Gtn750 for years but Airac is not upto date and it seems to me that the plethora of new RNAV routes being added over last two years has made the F1 version outdated. 1) I see RXP being offered with Airac 1803. Does this include all latest RNAV SIDS and STARS? 2) will RXP update this regularly / periodically? What’s is the policy please? 3). Sorry for being lazy and not looking but does it import flight plans from Simbrief? (Not a dealbreaker). thanks. Dean

How soon will the RXP GTN 650 / 750 be available for P3Dv4?

Hi Jean-Luc, Someone on the FSW forum recently brought up this question on the Lear - I recall it as well... By default - FSW only has the Lear setup to use the F1 product... Honestly - I forget if I actually swapped out the F1 GTN on that specific aircraft for the RXP model - or not... I won't be able to test until the weekend... We get an erroneous "Pull Up" call when we intercept the GS all the way down to touch down - very annoying... Do you think the RXP unit will do the same and would there be an easy way to silence it ? Hi, Right now it looks like the RXP server is down? The site is unreachable "Server Not Found" I also get this message when I try to update to v2.5.9 I hope the update does not consist of downloading a F1 wrapper again.

Does the GTN 650/750 for P3D use the same Trainer version as the XPlane version? The XPlane version which I have seems to have just been upgraded and have more features than before and also is now better than the F1 version I have for P3D. With the sale on I would like to get the RXP versions for P3D if they will have the same upgraded features as the Xplane version. Thanks for a great product and looking forward to the G500/600 when it comes out!

Hello, I made the purchase of the GTN750 for my P3D and could not perform the integration as it does in f1 on the aircraft panel, some functionality did not work. I need an install bracket to fix the bugs.

I just updated my RXP GTN 750 install to the newly-released 2.5.8 version. While on v2.5.7 I had no stability issues, but on my first flight attempt, I got a CTD just after starting to taxi out to the runway. I chose the A2A Bonanza and my flight plan was KZZV LORES V115 ZUTIV KYNG with the RNAV 14, OTNOE transition loaded at KYNG. One thing I noticed as I started to taxi was the that CDI on the HSI was swinging around seemingly randomly to various courses. It did this several times before I experienced the CTD. Hello All, Need Help just bought the RXP GTN750 and having issue with the gtninterface.dll. I have tried disabling windows defender and excluding the gauges folder and keep getting the error! Brett

I have an issue with the backup function that is not working at all. I have tryed to install the GTN 750 in the Alabeo PA44 Seminole using the autodetection and replacing the default GPS 500 by the GTN 750. I then decide to revert back to the original configuration so I select "remove all reality XP GTN" the issue is that now I don't have the default GPS anymore. And if I try to reinstall the GTN 750 I have an error message stating that the wizard did not detect any GPS gauge. So basically the wizard is not backing up the original panel it just erase the default GPS gauge. How can I get back the original panel of my Seminol (appart from re-install…

The A2A Comanche has a panel configurator where you can choose the default GPS, the Reality XP, the F1 or the MS. I only have the Reality XP one however in the A2A Panel configurator it is the only one I can't select, ut's greyed out. I have then select the f1 GPS option and then using the wizard remove the f1 by the Reality XP and ultimatly it's working but why is the A2A configurator do not recognise the Reality XP gauge ?

Hello maybe a stupid question but can I buy only the GTN 750 without having to buy the GTN 650 ? I'm not clear if the two need to be bought in order to work and/or if they come bundle. In the RealXP shop it look like two different product however the manual is not that clear. In the flight one shop they come bundle hence my question. I would like to take the benefit of the current sales but I'm not sure what need to be bought. Thanks

I recently installed the GTN750 in P3D 4.3 on Win 10. I previously owned the "other" GTN750, but wanted to go with the RXP version - not only because of the updated Nav data, but because I had always been an RXP customer in the past, and want to continue supporting you. Prior to installing the RXP version, I uninstalled the "other" version, as well as the older Garmin trainer. Hi, I purchased the GTN 650 earlier this week. While I still like VOR and NDB navigation, looks like I'm hooked to GPS... so I ended up buying the GTN 750. I can't get to crossfill GTN 650/750 on the A2A Bonanza because the buttons are grayed out.

Hi, The startup screen displays a message "Personal license for... Home use...": that is OK. Ten seconds later another redundant message is displayed: "Software provided for entertainment use only, not intended to be used in a production environment." And we have to click on the message icon to avoid it keep flashing. Is it possible to do something NOT to display that second message? Besides I think that "production environment" is an IT expression. "not intended to be used in the real world" would be clearer for the public?

My thoughts on the documentation are: 1) For the real-world functions of the GTN that are replicated in the RXP software, IMHO it is OK to rely on the real-world Garmin documentation. It is extensive, well done and free. Hi, I read page 9 of the manual and created the virtual datacard folder. I don't understand how I can generate a flight plan with .gfp file extension. I have FSTramp as flightplanner. And a user waypoint file is another way to create manually a fligght plan and import it?

Hi, I searched in the GTN 625/635/650 Pilot's Guide and looked in the System Setup but did not find. By default the Com/Stanby Freq is displayed. If I click on the small know then the Nav/Standby is displayed. However after a period of time, the display automatically returns to Com/Stanby. It seems that it is not possible to maintain the Nav/Standby display?

First things first. The RXP GTN 750 is so far absolutely amazing in just about every aspect. I asked some questions a few weeks ago before purchasing and the answers I received led me to purchase it today. Now that I've had a bit of a play around with it, I have a couple other questions, and a comment or two, if I may. Is there a clickspot to close the 2D popup window? Unless I'm missing it, I've had to either click the spot in the VC that opens the 2D window to close it again, or right-click the 2D popup to choose Close Window in the menu. As the title says, how do I achieve that. I had the 750 first for awhile then purchased the 650. Had some trouble getting them to work together but have that all worked out now. The 650 acts as com 1 which is on the bottom of the stack. I want the 750 as com1, 650 as com2. Thanks, David
