RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hi, i would like to have my gtn 750 in the virtual cockpit, but only what i have found on "official panel configuration mods" is popup (shift+9)mod from daren (thanks anyway :)). I saw that it could be done - small gauge on the right down pedestal (f1 gtn). Hi again. I have some questions about flight planning gtn 750. 1. Why erased waypoints are still in map ? i mean: i have loaded flp with sid and star but when descending i changed star to another and erased/removed some waypoints from flightplan but it still exist in map view 2. How to remove discontinuities ? Vnav dont work sometimes (unsupported flight leg..) because i have discontinuities even withouts a vector segment

I have a problem using the RXP750 in the Realair Turbine Duke. It loads with the F1 fine, but if I switch to the RXP750 (using the auto detection conversion) the aircraft restarts with the RXP and there is an electrical clicking noise in the aircraft that continues indefinitely. I thought it was a problem with the Turbine Duke but it is only there when I'm flying the RXP. I am sure it is not an RXP problem as that works great in my other aircraft but it seems to be causing this problem. This clicking sound is even there in cold and dark! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello all, Just recently added the 650 to my GTN750 in the A2A 182. I must be missing some simple step here as I can not get it to work the Com2 and Nav2. Searched the forums for a couple of days however no luck so far. If its been covered somewhere point me to it please. As you can see on the picture below I have both of the Nav radios tuned to the same VOR. There is no indication on Nav2 while the Nav2 indicates on the HSI. Similarly there is no radio call on Com2 to be heard when tuned to the particular frequency. Below are my settings for both the 750 and 650 side by side. I recently purchased the aforementioned add on; FPS are quite lower than all of my other aircraft and at least some of it appears to be related to the GTN units I have integrated into the panel. Other users have tweaked the F1 GTN .ini file to use a different CPU core and have improved their FPS; I don't know if this might be an option? I have noticed that the FPS jumps by 10 - 15 with the unit(s) off. Thoughts?

Hi, i just bought gtn 750 and try to figure out how to properly import flightplans. I tried almost everything and did not help. I put the .gfp file from starter pack to C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases\FPLN but still there is no Import Button at all. My Garmin Trainers and reality xp are in the default location - didnt change the instalation patch. I have tried searching for a solution to this problem but I didn't find anything. I don't know when or how the problem started but in my A2A C182 and Comanche the panel unit (GTN-750 ) is blank but when I click the bezel to pop out the GTN, the display is operational. The pop out, not the panel display. I have tried reinstalling the aircraft and RXP GTN but no improvement. MY RXP installation for my A2A Bonanza works fine. Bill

Good evening, Going from the knowledge I learned from the Carenado Cessna 337, I tried the same process of installing the GTN 750 - using installer from the drop down menu instead of the installer in the Carenado Saab folder. If I used the add on menu, it installed the gps unit in place of the HSI. It work perfectly, but not the location I was hoping for. I tried the installer from the Saab file. This installer removes the default FMC and places the GTN to the right of the control yoke. This is where I wanted it, but again I’m back to a gps that won’t power up. I’d like the working GTN, but I’d like the HSI as well. Cheers, colin

Good evening, I picked up the genuine Reality XP GTN 750 from earlier in the week, tried today for the first time to install it into a couple planes. I started with the Carenado planes as that seemed the logical place to start. I first used the add-on menu from FSX to automatically install the GPS unit. The GPS unit was where it should be, but the screen was blank. I tried all the click spots, but I couldn't find an on/off switch. I removed it, and tried reinstalling it using the F1GTN750S340.exe, but ran into the same result - Blank screen and the touch screen didn't work either. I'm not sure if there is a step i'm missing. First, thanks to Bert and Ryan for their informative posts. I have got the Reality XP GTN 750 working (Finally!) in the Alabeo C421. What puzzles me is that in the C182 and the Milviz 310 Redux I used Bert's fix to be able to popup and close the GTN 750 by clicking on the left side of the bezel. However, in the C421 I can close that way but to open the popup I have to left click on the top of the bezel in the VC. I discovered this by accident after spending two or thee hours trying to figure out why two aircraft worked and the C421 didn't. Any ideas why? Dave

Happy New Year's Eve! I JUST purchased the GTN 650 to use alongside the 750. Anytime I bring up the pop-up 650 my sim crashes. P3D v4.4. This seems to have something to do with the Panel Manager. There are three entries for my GTN units. Two work, bringing up a GTN 750 or a GTN 650. The third crashes the sim when I check it. Seems like the .cfg file might need to be edited?

Hi This has worked well for about 3 weeks when suddenly black screen on the GTN and message saying "GTN trainer not working" . No error messages in the logs, reinstalled trainer and software, updated graphics drivers, nothing known to have changed on system and anti-virus quarantine checked; postings here all checked. Win 8 and FSX SP2 user. It looks as if the GTN in FSX can't find the trainer. Trainer continues to work in stand alone. Any thoughts appreciated, please? Best wishes for the season.

I really want to use the GTN 750 with the Carenado F33A but I realize it may not fit into the panel. If I install it with the "pop-up only" option will it work with the default 430 or conflict with it? steve

Now I have the PC12 under some control with the GTN750, I am now trying out the GTN750 with the FSW Learjet35A. The first thing I notice is the NAV2 switch is constantly cycling on/off. When I use the standard non GTN version, I do not have this Nav2 cycling event. What is causing this? Now in flight on ILS approach and I see both NAV 1 stuttering and 2 switches cycling?

Hello, I am a recent customer of the RXP GTN 750 solution and I must congratulate RXP team. My question concerne the VNAV feature. I have the Carenado H850XP (P3Dv4.4) that i customized for GTN and it works fine except i'm not able to operate the vertical guidance with GTN (VNAV). The original Carenado H850XP is able to follow vertical guidance according to a flight plan if you turn on the VNAV button. I'm sure of that because i have used it many times. One of my favorite airports is EGLC with a 5.5 degree approach. When using the GTN 750, it seems to have a mandated 3 degree operation, making the approaches with the GTN 750 unworkable. Is there a way of changing the Glide Slope degrees on the GTN 750?

I am flying at present between EGPH and EGLC during the day(world times shows 10HR 14Mins spring day) I have the GTN750 map color scheme set as day. My machine time is 11:19pm I notice the GTN 750 map is displaying nighttime view? What drives the day/night time view? It seems during the local time here, sets the GTN colour, rather than the P3D time! Can I force daytime view?

I am using the RXP GTN tool to replace my F1 GTN VC gauges in various planes where only the F1 units are supported, such as A2A and Carenado aircraft. I find, however, that I am unable to close a GTN popup window by clicking on the popup's left bezel as I can do with the F1 popups. Is there a way to implement this feature for the RXP popup windows? I have played with some settings in the ini file, but haven't found anything that will work. Thanks, Robert

When I launch the RXP GTN 750 in P3D v4.4, I get a "Chart function unavailable" message. The startup screen also indicates that charts are unavailable. I am at a major US airport. I have tried both the Worldwide (Jeppesen) and North America (Garmin) databases in the Device Options pane and both give me this message. I thought that charts were available for North America - and I indeed have them with the older Garmin database used by the F1 unit. I re-downloaded and reinstalled the Garmin Trainer installer for v6.50.1, chichis the one used by RXP, but I still get the charts unavailable message. Is there something I need to do to activate the charts in North America…

Dear all, First of all - Merry Christmas, and thank you for your hard work! :) I'd take a moment to report my issue with RXP GTN 650. In the simulator, when the unit is supposed to power up, only black screen shows. During troubleshooting, I've reinstalled both RXP and Garmin products. They are currently at their default paths, if that makes a difference. If I launch the Garmin Trainer directly, it shows the same problem, that is, the unit that pops up from the Launcher won't power up properly but black screen remains. Is it possible to somehow get 2 gnt 750's set up on the panel of the a2a bonanza?

I searched to forum but wouldn't fint anything so apologies if it has been covered already. I bought the RXP GTN 750 on the 7th December and got it installed. While I couldn't get it to install properly into the aircrafts using the provided tool, I still could use it via the pop-up configuration. Now I noticed that when I start the gauge it says "invalid license". The gps seems to work properly so it doesn't cause me any problems as far as I can tell, but still I'dr rather see it removed! 😄 I tried uninstalling from the control panel in windows 10 and re-installing but it still says the same. I note in the USA you get taxyways and airport layouts, superimposed charts, SIDs and STARs on the GTN750. Do you still get these functions outside the USA with the bundled nav data? Most of my IFR flying is in Western Europe. Also, I understand they've added fields outside the USA that are unlicensed or have shorter runways, this would very useful for my VFR flying in the UK.
