RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hello everyone, Thinking about buying the GTN 750. However, I have two questions/issues: I can´t download the eCommerce Installer, or the manuals for hat matter. This is what happens: https://imgur.com/wnX4GIm Second of all: If I buy the GTN 750 today, for 49,99$ US and like it and decide to buy the GTN 650 as well, some time later - do I then qualifiy to purchase the GTN 650 at 50% discount, or does that only apply, when purchased at the same time, as a bundle? Having a weird issue with P3D and GTN popups. This appears to only happen on planes with 750 and 650. Example A2A C182, Realair Turbine Duke. When I open the 2d popup of the 750, it shows fine. If I then popup the 650 I get a CTD with P3D.exe not responding. I can do the inverse and have the crash as well. Open 650 popup fine then 750 popup freezes p3d and CTD. All GTN's are up to date.

In all the videos they are using a home "real cockpit" connected to the flightsim. Can the 750 be installed and used just in the sim? Do you need to watch the Garmin videos to learn how to use the 750? Is the 750 compatible with Navigraph updates? Sorry but the videos do NOT help with purchasing.

I picked up the Flysimware C402 today and on install elected to install to GTN 750s. The install was only for the F1 750 but no problem, I used the RXP add on tool to swap them out for my RXP units. However, for some reason when I enter navigation data into the first unit, it gets stuck on the OBS page. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks, LouP PS. I just noticed that when the unit starts up I get the message "OBS is not available due to dead reckoning or no active waypoint". The other unit that is working OK (number 2) does not give this message

I just installed the GTN750 I have the panel in my PA31T in plsce of the old GPS unit. The problem is, I can't get it to turn on. The Avidyne turns on as soon as I turn on Avionics as did the old GPS. I'm not to smart when it comes to this stuff so any help is appreciated. P3D V3 Windows 10 Thanks Chris

My GTN will not descend according to VNAV on autopilot. I hear "Vertical track" but no glide-slope appears till it would normally in the approach. After much hair pulling I looked at my Garmin Trainer. I found that my trainer has a VCALC mode while my RXP GTN has a VNAV mode. I am flabbergasted. How can the RXP GTN be working when the trainer has different modes??? Yes, my GPS is fully functional otherwise other than VNAV. X plane also is affected by this BTW. Please help! Donald

So i wanted the GTN 750 on the Tristar (the INS doesn't have a vnav calculator, so i wanted to use the GTN) I saw on CS forums that if you switch the MCP to ONS and switch the GTN to VLOC mode it would follow the path. However, this was tested on the f1 GTN, which i wouldn't think it would be too different since they both use the GTN trainer. But for some reason it didn't follow the path. I'm assuming the RXP works in a different principle? But it never followed the path. I'm thinking about getting the GTN 750 for the Carenado ATR72-500. First is it possible to upload flightplans created with SimBrief to the GTN 750? Apparently it is not possible to upload flightplans from SimBreif or any other planner to the base ATR 72.

Hi, I bought the GTN750 for Flight Sim yesterday. I installed the program + Garmin Trainer. When I open the configurator in FS9 (by right clicking on the screen) my FS shuts down without any warning what so ever. I'm not sure if this helps, but rxpGTN_menu.dll says "19/09/10 22:34:48.390 04436 - ] # rxpGTN_menu.dll version 2.5.19.0 19/09/10 22:34:48.396 04436 ERROR] can't create D3D Device." I want to update the RXP GTN 750, but have no idea how to. I had a look at the f1 site, where the product came from, but as usual, that site is so full of "advice" I find it extremely unhelpful. Why can't they (f1) have a simple account page and we re-download the file? Maybe there is a page but i can't find it. I recall trying to download an update a few years ago, and that took much support, I have never bothered again. I don't want to re-download the entire GTN package if I can help it, as I recall the original download was ginormous. Any help will be appreciated to get updated for P3Dv4.5

Hello all. I just bought my GTN 750 yesterday and have been really happy with it so far. I use it with my FSW Lear 35 and it really brings the aircraft to life. But I wanted to add the 650 to my aircraft because the discount is hard to pass up... the only thing is, I’m not really sure what the 650 is used for. Honestly it looks like just a tiny version of the 750 but if they both do the same functions why would anyone want the small thing? I’m speaking in terms of really life btw. Why would a pilot purchase a 650 when all he needs is a 750?

The GPS works fine but I can't hold Shift and right-click to access the Configuration Panel.Left-clicking allows me to configure the window size, though. I would appreciate some help with this. Del

With much thanks to BillS511, nirgal76, Bert Pieke and others in the community I have a working GTN750 in several of my A2A aircraft namely the C172, C182, PA24, PA28, and of course the Bonanza which is supported anyway. I would now like to add the 650 to my P51 Mustang Civilian and into the T-6. Can any of you gentlemen or anyone else help with the config files needed? It sounds crazy, and is most likely not possible, but I think it would be pretty cool if the GTN could somehow integrate with or control Spotify. The Services > Music page of course would have to allow for such control. Song and Artist name fields are self explanatory. The Category field could display the folder name of the current playlist. Channel Name could display the playlist name. The presets along the bottom could be set to jump to specific playlists. The Browse button would allow users to browse all their playlists. Is this something even remotely possible to pull off?

i think i posted this question before but couldn't find it. big issue is the GTN 750 won't produce a glide slope in the PC-12 on any approaches. For example when approaching NTTB using vertical guidance with a 3 degree g/s. In any other plane this activates the vertical guidance on the digital artificial horizon gauge, of which you can then activate the approach autopilot which follows it down. however only lateral guidance appears in the PC-12. can you please take a look and see if it's a PC-12 issue or an issue on my end? again this works with all the other modules that integrate the GTN 750, only the PC-12 won't work

Anyone have a clue why the rxp gtn 750 would've stopped loading into vr? Was working last night. It loads into P3d display but not when i go into VR, when i disable vr its there on the display? Any thoughts or recommendations would be helpful. Thanks.

So the latest RXP version is 6.62 and database compatible, thus the latest cycle is in fact 1809 from Garmin? Why don't they release newer cycles with a new trainer?

I ran the RXP installer and installed the Trainer but now it is telling me the Obstacle and Terrain databases are not found?

Thought I'd put this in one place for people who are having the "missing databases" problem with the latest update to the GTN750. Actually it's in two places as I put it in the XPlane forum too. 1 - Uninstall the installed version of the trainer which will be 2.5 2 - Download this ... http://download.garmin.com/software/GarminTrainerSetup_2400.zip - it contains the 2.4 version of the trainers AND the databases. 3 - Extract all the files and run the setup program That's it - the GTN should now work correctly Mike

Hi every time i try to install the GTN software it starts to load then come up error 404

Can anyone tell me what the difference between the RXP version and the f1 version is? I have the f1 version and cannot get any tech support or help with it. I requested to have it registered in the forum. No Response. Time to change when the customer gets ignored. No more f1 products for me.
