Thinking about buying the GTN 750. However, I have two questions/issues:

I can´t download the eCommerce Installer, or the manuals for hat matter. This is what happens:

Second of all: If I buy the GTN 750 today, for 49,99$ US and like it and decide to buy the GTN 650 as well, some time later - do I then qualifiy to purchase the GTN 650 at 50% discount, or does that only apply, when purchased at the same time, as a bundle?

Hi,

This is peculiar: your DNS is not having this domain in its list. Are you using a custom DNS or your ISP?

As for the discount, you can use it as long as it is available later on.

For IPv4 I use following as main/fallback:

1.1.1.1

1.0.0.1

For IPv6 its 

2606:4700:4700::1111

2606:4700:4700::1001

I´ll try a different one and report back. The discount sounds good. Thank you

As promised, I tried it using the default DNS of my ISP (Telekom Deutschland GmbH). No luck. Still the same error

I doubt it will change anything but can you try this URL:

Sadly, doesn´t work either.

It's very strange. DNS queries for Flight1 servers do not pass. Can you try through VPN? Free VPN is available in Opera browser.

Still I can advise, in the settings of the TCP/IP v4 protocol for the network card to change the DNS on the Googly - primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4

I have now bought and installed the GTN 750. I used a VPN to my university for it.

 

One note on the purchasing process: Very weird, clumsy and cumbersome. Multiple times I was just about to give up. I understand and respect that you have to protect your IP, sure, but aren´t there better solutions than the f1 software? Felt like something straight out of the 80s/90s.

I'm glad you've sorted this out and thank you for letting others know how to proceed if they're stuck with their ISP like this.

The e-commerce solution has been reliable and doing the job well since we've introduced our first products in 2002. It is certainly due for a rejuvenating and it is actually evolving with a modern interface and system. We'll certainly share more news when the time come.

User to User, sorry to see you had so much difficult reaching in to get the product.  Your tenacity will pay off as you have found a great product to enhance your flying!  Stay in tune with the F1 wrapper process as it will come into play often as RXP is constantly updating and improving its products.  Each new update/release will use that F1 wrapper process.  It soon becomes second-hand nature.  If you hit a bump with it there are those like me here to console and help!

Something is in play there that is excluded via the VPN.  Not techie enough to help, but would encourage you to sort through it on a time-available basis.
