RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hello everyone, I've recently switched from the F1 GTN750/650 to the RXP version(s) and I really like it so far. However I would like to let you now that I see a performance drop of 10FPS (!) compared to the F1 version. Usually having been able to fly in 4K at 40FPS the latest PBR implementations into my mostly used addons have kicked in a lot, now an addition 10FPS drop brings me down to 20FPS in the A2A Cessna.. that's almost not flyable anymore 😕 Thank you and merry remaining Christmas 😃

Hello. This afternoon i've started a flight with the Flysimware Learjet 35, wich i have with the GTN750. Some months ago i flew this same plane with the GTN without any hitch, but today the plane was unable to follow the magenta line, even when the autopilot was on and nav mode as well. I've popped up the option menu of the GTN in case it wasn't coupled with the automatic pilot, and then realized that all options in the panel instrument menu except "master device" and "connect GPS to HSI" were grayed out and with red locks next to them. I'm ready to move from the F1 GTN's to RXP. One reason I haven't done so sooner is the F1 eCommerce wrapper... what a pain! F1 dumps a licensing folder in the root of the C drive... will I have the same thing with RXP? Can RXP products be installed to the user's Addon folder (where 3rd party addons should be installed for P3Dv4)? For some reason I'm having difficulty downloading the GTN manual now... I'm curious how the RXP's CPU affinity is set? Is it difficult (I have no problem working with a text file... that's how I make changes now with the F1 GTN's). Thanks, Greg

Recently did the upgrade for A2a Comanche. GTN 750 was replaced by default gauges after upgrade. Managed to get the GTN back in the cockpit by using the A2A configuratot and the RXP app in the add on menu problem is now I am unable to have the GTN power on, just have a black screen Any help very welcome Thanks in advance

Hello Simmers, I, a fellow user of the Reality-XP GTN750 have experienced an issue after updating to the FSX Beta. Upon loading in to the cockpit of my default Cessna 172 with the Reality-XP GTN as a pop-out loaded and functionable I have noticed that when attempting to switch the NAV to GPS mode there is no possible way to switch as it keeps defaulting to NAV mode which makes my aircraft unable to follow the flight plan created in the GTN750. I have another friend whom I contact with the same Reality-XP GTN750 and FSX-Beta who had this same issue and we were wondering if there is a fix for this issue or if there can be a fix for this issue. Hi, I have managed to get the GTN750 working with the A2A Cessna 182 Skylane OK. I would like to undock the gauges (one window selected) and move them to my adjacent monitor. Unfortunately once I click "undock" the GTN window just goes black. If I leave it where it is I can move it around the main screen OK and it works as advertised. Any clues as to why this would happen? I dont have an issue with the Carenado Piper Saratoga. Cheers Peter

Hi My system is P3DV4.5 HF2. Windows 10 64 bit. I have just purchased and installed the latest GTN 750/650 combo. Unfortunately I have an issue in that selecting autopilot Nav mode with an Active Flight Plan results in the aircraft not following the flight plan. Not sure why. I tried just using the default Mooney but no joy. Hello there, I recently bougt the RealityXP GTN750/650 from the official website. After installing the setup, I tried to get it to work with my GA Aircraft Addons (A2A Cherokee 180 & Carenado Beech Bonanza F33A) which as a result wasn't that succesful. When I tried to install it in the Carenado Bonanza, the GTN650 Unit just stays black, even as i switcht in the configuration-UI to "always on" and the imigration of the Unit in the Panal doesn't look very good and I have absolutly no idea, how to change or configurize that (even after I read the Manual PDF). Hello Is it possible to add/modify the GTN 750 for an ADF radio similar to Nav?

Is it possible to drag and resize the GTN750 when the bezel is removed? I ask because I'd like to move it onto the RealSImGear GTN screen but cannot unless I leave the bezel. Wondering if I'm missing something here? Thanks, Greg

I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and 99% of my programs survived the move.. However, I installed the "latest" Garmin GTN Trainer (?) V 6.62.0 and the latest RXP GTN 750 V 2.5.21.1 and am getting a black screen in the GTN.. Is this the right Garmin GTN Trainer, or do I have the wrong package?

I need help please. I purchased the RealityXP 750 on Thanksgiving and have been trying to get it to work since then. When I try to load the trainer OR try to use a pop up screen in P3Dv4.5 it throws Error: LoadLibrary failed to load cdp.dll. GetLastError: 193. The screens load but they're blank. All the trainers load and work fine but the Navigator in training mode is blank and disappears when you close the error message. The trainers all work after the Navigator closes. Hi there, Please help. I got the new Carenado C421 from Alabeo yesterday and followed the instructions to install it into the plane. I can see the GTN750 inside the airplane but it won't power on. I cannot get it to work. Please advise. I hear that I might need the Garmin Trainer as well. I downloaded that last night. However, it's a trial version. Do I have to pay for this as well? I'm super confused how this all works together and needed parts.

Hi- I'm running HT on (8 cores) and want to run my GTN750 on the first two cores. What value would I add to the -1 place to make this happen? I'm not sure of the 1-32 designation is. ; selects the CPU running the trainer process: 1 to 32 ; 0: last core, -1: automatic. CpuAffinity = -1 Thanks, Mark

I am using P3Dv4.5HF2 and just updated to the latest version of the GTN750. I have now tried 3 different a/c, all of which have the GTN installed in the panel, and none of them are capturing the GPS course. The HSI CDI responds as expected, the HSI course arrow points to the desired course, the GTN is in GPS mode, the AP is on in NAV mode, but the a/c does not turn to the GPS course as the CDI centers. The previous GTN 750 version worked fine. What am I forgetting after updating the GTN? My settings are below. Thx, Al

Hey all; I installed the RXP GTN _NO BEZEL units into the Milviz Bell407 by following the Cheyenne Guide and as far as display in the VC they look great...Hoever I have 2 problems that I cannot find solutions for. 1. The Touch Screens are not responsive in VC. The touch screens work just fine in the Popup windows however...Is this a gauge reflections issue? I cannot find that thread for the life of me to learn how to turn off gauge reflections please help.. 2. Is the transponder working with online clients like vPilot?

I use the x plane G1000 to program in a waypoint altitude and descent angle, enable VNV mode, then the autopilot takes over at the TOD and descends the correct speed automatically. very handy. i've successfully gotten the GTN750 VNAV display to work, however I'm wondering how/if it can connect to the autopilot as well in any of the X Plane payware planes, similarly to how the G1000 works? thanks!

Hello I've noticed that Departure Time in Flight Timer menu doesn't work in new updates (v2.5.20.3 for supporting Prepar3D V4.5 Hotfix2 autopilot). It not respond to neither Criteria (In Air or Power on). Always showing 00:00:00. It works in previous versions.

I've been using the GTN750 if FSX:SE for about 10 months now and its been good, especially in my A2A C182. Today the GTN750 screen started flickering and I cant stop it. All the functionality remains - it just flickers incessantly. I've tried repairing the four Simconnect modules, resetting the C182 gauges and re-setting the C182 gauges to original. I've also put the GTN into aircraft that I haven't previously installed it to. Whenever I try to reconfigure the GTN750 again, in any aircraft, the 750 screen flickers. I'd be grateful for any suggestion as to what might be causing the GTN750 screen flickering on the unit and how I might fix it and avoid it in future. Tha…
