RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Editing shortcuts in RealityXP.GTN.ini in the Documents/Reality XP... folder using TOGGLE_WINDOW_1 = … does NOT work. It doesn't matter what key you use. I'm pretty sure that this file is completely ignored in setting shortcuts. I am using P3D v4.4. I can, of course, toggle the popup window from Vehicle->Instrument Panel->Reality XP GTN Unit 1 (managed). All is working perfectly with the 750, other than the keyboard shortcut. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to troubleshoot this? Incidentally, the shortcut works perfectly in X-Plane by editing the RealityXP.GTN.ini file in the X-Plane preferences folder. Create a subfolder in the T Duke panel folder for the f1vc.xml file. Selected the Use simulator Gps Commands. Any help getting this setup would be appreciated . I purchased the RXP GTN650/750 for P3D a few months back and now cannot find any reference to the original download. It was originally managed through the auspices of F1. If anyone knows where I can find the downloads for P3D for these gauges then please point me in right direction.

Hi Jean Luc. I have observed since the last update, the Nav/GPS switch is no longer working. When using settings\Connect CDI Mode to NAV/GPS it just switches back to NAV and never lets the GTN 650 engage the GPS. If I recall, it worked before 2.5.10. I am using the Panel.cfg available here in the Panel Retro thread for the C208. On a foot note,I installed the "Other guys" GTN and it is intercepting the command. Thank you

I was just looking at the Carendo sale and interested in the PC12 for my P3Dv4.3, but I will want to fit the Reality GTN 750 in it. I see on the Carendo site they make the specific statement a few times that the Reality GTN750 only works in FSX and not P3D? I would have thought, he with no experience, that the Reality GTN 750 would work in the same a/c with the F1 GTN 750. I seem to recall seeing a post by Bert implying he had it fitted...but maybe he has a FSX machine

Dear all As it mentioned above I just bought the Carenado B1900D after switching to P3D v4.4 from FSX, I never got any professional GPS system before and never used one except barley the default FSX, I have a question, does the Reality XP GTN 750/650 Touch works for the B1900D .....With a straight forward process? no need to edit a panel.cfg files and such? or perhaps to recommend a GNS since I am planning to get the PMDG DC-6 later on ? Hello Bought the GTN750 yesterday and had so far installed into FSX box without problem however I had spent the past several tiring hours and still happening locating the opening screen with the fsx steam tab . obviously I wanted to install the gauge into fsx steam aircrafts as well. Also I noticed the software installed without a desktop icon however it did create a Reality XP GTN user manual. Hello, I'm having trouble to install the recently purchased GTN750 in my P3Dv4 Carenado PC-12. I installed the trainer, installed the F1GTN750PC12 in the simobjects, but after I load the aircraft I only have a black screen.... The popup gives mee a correct working GTN, but in the VC of the aircraft the screen says black. I worked withe the configurator but i don't seem to get it working. Can someone help me out here? Hi, With the sale on at RealityXP, I just purchased the Garmin GTN 750. I did the download of the Garmin Aviation Trainers and a Garmin box has appeared on my screen, with a Power On button on the lower right. Click it and it says avionics powering up and the GTN 750 appears...G600 TXi with Software version 2.20.1 trainer. Some questions.... Now what? It seems like I am missing the interface between the download and what to do next information to get it into an a/c. I could not find a "beginners" flight sim manual. I'm suddenly having a very odd problem. In any airplane with the 750 (or 650) installed, when I turn on the avionics master the GTN displays the initial Garmin screen and then the sim goes into Pause mode. When I unpause the sim, the GTN is hung with the initial screen displayed (in the VC) and blank (in the popup). Nothing can coax it back to life. I first encountered the problem in the A2A Bonanza, but testing shows it happens in every plane I have the 750 and/or 650 installed in. P3D v4.4 and the latest (v2.5.10) RXP version installed. Hello, I have a question on the GTN750. I own the RXP GTN750 and F1 GTN750 am I able to use both?(the RXP is a lot better!!!). I have a mod for Carenado CJ2 and F1 GTN750 only works with it. Thanks, Brett

Greetings, I just purchased and installed the GTN 750, coming from the GNS 530. I have a few questions/issues about this GPS: 1. No weather/wind indication anywhere. Does this support in-Sim wind or weather? 2. No TCAS or traffic display. Does this support in-Sim AI-traffic? 3. Unable to setup VNAV. Wouln't let me setup my VNAV descent calculation. All of these features were in the GNS 530 and used quite often. I guess you could say that they just worked after installing the 530. Here are popup window configurations for the RXP GTN TAWS & WAAS Annunciation Panels. The panels are included with the RXP installers. These configurations will also work with the RXP GNS series. There are 2 different configurations. 1. RXP GPS TAWS & WAAS Annunciation Panels in separate popup windows. 2. RXP GPS TAWS & WAAS Annunciation Panels in 1 popup window. Make sure to open the gauge settings to enable the TAWS feature. 1. This configuration is for the TAWS & WAAS gauges in separate popup windows. It would be helpful if you own both RXP 750 and 650 but if you have either or that can be helpful too. I'm using P3D v4 but if you have v3 or another sim that would be helpful because I haven't tested in those yet. Also you need to have some addons which use the F1 GTN 750 and or 650 integrations. Examples... A2A aircraft, Realair Turbine Duke/Legacy v2, Carenado etc. If anyone has a dual GTN 650 addon that would be appreciated as well PM me with your email. Hi, As you may already know, it seems expected Prepar3D 4.4 gets released tomorrow, Nov 28 2018. This is a quick note to let you know what is expected on our end: we'll be releasing a GTN update compatible with Prepar3D v4.4 as soon as possible after it is officially released. Each new version has been different but past updates didn't take us longer than about a day. Once we do, our add-on is fully compliant to the Prepar3D SDK and installs entirely in its own folder using the addon.xml method. You can safely uninstall the P3D4 client and you won't loose any RXP file. Therefore, I'd suggest you wait for our update prior updating to P3D 4.4.

Problem RXP GTN750 for P3D4 purchased recently. It seems to have installed properly in A2A C172 - it shows up OK in the VC panel, powers up OK and I can even start clicking "Continue" to which the GTN750 responds by changing pages. However after 15-20 seconds the mouse stops responding and panel/GTN freezes (still showing on monitor). Have tried waiting and waiting in the vain hope that it would un-freeze - it didn't. CTL-ALT-DEL does not work and a hard restart is required to get Windows working again. Identical issues with A2A C182 - appears then freezes. I recently swapped my F1 750 for the RXP in my Flysimware Falcon 50 I am not intercepting localiser. Switch from GPS mode to VLOC. Heading to intercept. Approach activated. Hits localiser and flies through it or turns 90 degrees! F1. does the same intercept smoothly. 😂 So, should RXP be set different or has anyone noticed the Falcon misbehaving on approach with RXP. Tomorrow I’ll have to add RXP to another aircraft to cross check!

After updating I can no longer input elevation and way point to get the VS required computed. Has the update changed how it works? Very nice feature for descent planning that I'm missing. Matt

Garmin only included NA airport charts in the trainer program that is used as the core of both the F1 and RXP units, so they are the only ones available. The trainer was produced first and foremost as a demo and familiarization platform for Garmin GTN owners (or potential owners), not as a flight simulator add on, though we are all very fortunate that it can be used that way. I don’t think the real GTN is capable of holding approach charts for the entire world at one time in any case. I've installed the GTN 750 in P3Dv4.4 but it will not connect to the NAV function of any autopilots regardless of what aircraft I am using and the moving map is frozen.

Hello. Not sure if this is a P3D4.4 issue or not.Recently purchases and installed the RXP GTN 650/750 and the GTN's are not capturing the GS on RNAV approaches. I have used both in Xplane and never had a problem setting them up (Links). Also yrs experience with 530/430 P3D approaches along with FL GTN's for P3D. Perhaps I am missing a setting or such for the RXP GTN's? Thank you For any suggestions.
