November 8, 20187 yr Hi, I read page 9 of the manual and created the virtual datacard folder. I don't understand how I can generate a flight plan with .gfp file extension. I have FSTramp as flightplanner. And a user waypoint file is another way to create manually a fligght plan and import it? - TONY - MSFS2024 SU2 - PMDG 777-200ER - PMDG 777-300ER- Fenix A320 - iniBuilds A350 i7-14700KF 5.60 GHz - 32 GB DDR5 - RTX 4070 Ti Super - 32" 4K OLED G-SYNC 240 Hz
November 9, 20187 yr Hi, Please make sure to read the footnotes on the same p9 too! Basically, any test editor suffice to create Garmin flight plan files. For a GUI, there are threads already in this forum about this (see pinned discussions, especially the one with the explicit title "Flight Planner for GTN" )
November 9, 20187 yr Author Merci Jean Luc, yes I read the footnote. I was seeking for a non-manual way to generate a gfp file as FSTramp apparently don't support that format. Will check the pinned thread. - TONY - MSFS2024 SU2 - PMDG 777-200ER - PMDG 777-300ER- Fenix A320 - iniBuilds A350 i7-14700KF 5.60 GHz - 32 GB DDR5 - RTX 4070 Ti Super - 32" 4K OLED G-SYNC 240 Hz
November 9, 20187 yr Author Hi, I'm using FSTramp and I've just emailed the author to ask if that flight planner can support .gfp format in the future. - TONY - MSFS2024 SU2 - PMDG 777-200ER - PMDG 777-300ER- Fenix A320 - iniBuilds A350 i7-14700KF 5.60 GHz - 32 GB DDR5 - RTX 4070 Ti Super - 32" 4K OLED G-SYNC 240 Hz
November 9, 20187 yr Little NavMap will export a gfp. It is free as well. Support forums are here at Avsim too. https://albar965.github.io/littlenavmap.html
November 9, 20187 yr Author Unfortunately there is no plan for FSTramp to support .gfp - TONY - MSFS2024 SU2 - PMDG 777-200ER - PMDG 777-300ER- Fenix A320 - iniBuilds A350 i7-14700KF 5.60 GHz - 32 GB DDR5 - RTX 4070 Ti Super - 32" 4K OLED G-SYNC 240 Hz
