RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Have been happily running RXP GTN Touch v6.6.1 & Trainer v 2.62.4 on my Win10 P3D5.3HF2 system. Prompted by the RXP GTN update checker, downloaded and ran the new RXP update. Seemed to finish OK, but the GTN touch opening screen still says I'm running RXP v2.6 and Trainer 6.62.4. Reran the updater, same result. The GTN touch v2.6.1 still works OK, but now the Software Update thinks I have version 2.7.1.0, and each time I restart my system, I get a Software Update reminder dialog (a Windows host Rundll 32 process, not a startup app) that 2.7.4.0 is available. Is there a commercial or professional license option for this product?

One of the more unusual postings I feel sure all will Agree ... Have P3D 5.3 with longtime installed plane, as per title, which recently started to throw up all sorts of error messages none of which made any sense to me ... so I applied the logic of 'if in doubt have it out' ... having it out in this case amounted to me downloading a fresh copy of the plane from the RealAir site and carefully copying over from this, to the kaput version, basically all the files ... !Eureka! it worked! ... only slight problem being the new plane is linked to the GPS 500 of FSX days ... I'm sure some whizz can magic up a way of making my new 'improved version' accept the up-to-date Reality …

Hello, I just purchased the RealityXP GTN750 using my F1 login. After installation I started Prepar3d V4.1 and loaded the Carenado 337 Skymaster. I installed the popup 750. On startup I get a message that says INVALID LICENSE:CONTACT VENDOR. I can then select continue below and the GPS will go to the next page. What should I do to resolve this issue. Thank You

I was trying to update GTN Complete into p3d v6. In the Flight1 wrapper it says v2.22 but after I install it says v1.25 and I have the latest version. any ideas what I can do. Thanks.

Hi Jean-Luc, The latest update to v6 once again disables the autopilot GNSS steering function, as it has always done with updates to previous iterations of P3D. These updates always needed a patch from RXP to restore functionality. I thank you for making the necessary updates to ensure the RXP functions correctly in the original release of v6, but can you advise whether it is your intention to release the necessary updates for each "dot" update LM makes to v6? Hi Guys, I have notice that a new FSX Garmin GTN 750 launcher version is available. I have currently version 3.6.0.0 and is working OK. New version is 3.6.4.0 and seems to have an upgrade of the Databases. Is it OK to download and install this upgrade or we have to wait for the FSX RXP GTN 750 upgrade? Cheers, Roberto

I'm re-visiting P3D and GTN avionics. I don't remember it being like this. Is this normal? If not, how do I get rid of it? Thank you. P.S. I'm not clear on the difference between a 750 and a 725. What exactly is the difference if any?

Dear All, 'weather' icon in RXP GTN 650 Touch is in grey and cant'be activated. Same icon in Garmin GTN Trainer is bright and can be activated to display weather data options (Sirius XM, FIS-B, etc..with their respective settings). Is that a bug ? please let me know how to have weather data access (particularly wind heading and strengh). thank you, Regards. Armand.

Hello, I have 2 RealSimGear GTN650s in my setup.(X Plane 11) Recently I had some issues with my internet router and I had to change it. Since then I get the "Invalid Licence...." message. I have already tried to re-install RXP, the RealSimGear plugin and also the Garmin Trainer app.(My licence is linked to my Flight1 account) None of these worked. I am not sure what else to try, so I might need some help please 🙂 Thanks!

Getting back into X-Plane and the GTN 750, which I love. But having issues with RNav approaches. Every time I intercept the glide path on an approach, the X-plane 1000 drops the GPS approach (Green GPS goes away). I have to re-engage APR, do a VS decent to catch up with the glide path, then it locks on to the glide path and GS is displayed and the autopilot follows the glide slope. On some approaches - KPWT RNAV 20 gps LPV the GPS goes away a bit before glide path. This does not happen if I fly an RNav approach without the GTN 750. Any clues as to what is happening. I have RXP GTN 750 install in my P3D v5.3. I have researched the manuals to find out how the checklist function works. When I hit the utility group a checklists box (function) in the loaded gauge it does not appear. When I startup the trainer look in the utility group the checklist box (function) appears. All other functions seem to work OK. I am not sure what my next step is. I have thought of uninstalling both the trainer and the gauge but didn’t want to go through that if there was another fix. The software is up to date with version 2.5.30.0 installed. Any help would be appreciated. Dick

The database that is in the gtn is not capable of handling victor airways from a flight plan generated by navigraph charts or little navmap it is still on the old navdata

I used the bundle coupon to purchase the RXP 750/650. After installing the trainer only the GTN750 shows up. I can click on the 750 and it give options to change to 650. When I select the 650 it will work in the trainer. When I go to P3D v5.3 and try to load in a default aircraft and select 750 for unit #1 and 650 for unit#2 both units will appear in the stack but but only the 750 will turn on and function. Everything appears to work OK except when I go to the utility button to bring up the checklist function does not appear. Hi, I'd like to get some help reinstalling RXP. It stopped working in any plane I use in XP11, So I wanted to do a reinstall. 1. I tried my old installer - but after verification of my license, when it started the download, I gave a '404 - File not found' error. 2. As advised on some forum, I downloaded the installer from the Flight1 page. Now after entering the email address and PW I get a connection error - while I am connected. I have no fire wall and a fast connection. I do not find any solution so far. Any suggestions? Thanx

Has anyone been able to get this combination to work completely? I installed Just Flight's F1GTN on the PA28 Turbo Arrow in P3Dv4.5 which I then replaced with RXP's GTN. I also added this line "gauge04=rxpGTN!f1vc,0,0,1,1" in the panel.cfg file and the rxpGTN folder in the panel folder. Right mouse clicks on the screen and the controls on the bezel should work(?) but they don't.
