RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I've completely read all of the information is this thread (many times 😄) Spoiler I have noticed the "double press" problem but the most irritating thing for me is when I press the DTO button on the 750, it activates the 650 DTO page. Clearly I have something not right in the f1vc files, but I have cut'n'pasted contents from several of the posts in the above thread with the same result. I was hoping one of the many members here that are far more knowledgeable than me could lend some insight. Myself and at least one other user have run across this issue with the RXP GTN 750 in P3d5. The Garmin GTN 750 trainer works perfectly offline. When tuned to any 8.33 KHz frequency in that mode, the display is correct. However at the stock EGKA Shoreham, In 8.33 KHz mode, the RXP gauge display always changes the Shoreham Tower frequency of 125.405 to 125.400. I'm not sure how this is even possible since the RXP gauge is based on the Garmin trainer. I thought that it could have something to do with also having the legacy radios also active, which of course can't display 8.33 KHZ frequencies correctly. I changed my panel configuration to eliminate the legacy radios…

Is there another way to bring up the RXP config screen for the GTN- the SHIFT or CTRL left click is not bringing it up when I do that on the face of the gauge. I suppose the other way to edit options would be to manually go into the cfg file- but is there an easier way?

Is it at all possible to use the RXP GTN as the primary navigation unit instead of the G1000 in the Carenado PA46T Malibu Meridian? If I install it as a pop-up window it appears to control the radios, but I don't think it can be used for navigation? Is there any way I can change that?

I have Ultimate Traffic installed and I get good traffic in the sky but the GTN 750’s Traffic button is grayed out. Any advice? Thanks

I am really irritated with F1 still selling their GTN 750 that you CANNOT update the navigation database. Well you can, but only through Garmin via the trainer updates or purchasing through Garmin which for flight sim community is very expensive. I have issues with waypoints,etc being missing or not correct in the F1 GTN 750. Does the RXP GTN 750 import / use the FSX navigation database? Or is it like the F1 GTN 750, being dependent on the Garmin trainer database?? Thanks!

Hello, today I installed the A2A 182, Comanche, Cherokee, and Bonanza. I wish the Comanche, 182, and Cherokee had a setting in the Configurator like the Bonanza does where I can select the Reality XP 750. With the 182, Cherokee, and Comanche I select F1 750. Then run the sim, V5, the latest version, fresh install yesterday. I now have no GTN in the cockpits, it's inop, black screen with the planes running. So I go to the Add-On menu and tell it I want to have it Auto Detect and it runs, reloads the plane, and I get the GTN but there's a problem. The GTN will only show when it pops up. Hello everybody, I just recently purchased the GTN 650/750 units (merci for the sale, Jean-Luc) but I've been a real world user of the 430/530 for many years now. I've been having a small issue getting wrong ETAs on the Trip Planning page. I have time set on UTC, the times is correct, I get proper ETE for points and cumulative (destination), I get right ETA on the RAIM prediction page but I always get wrong (hour) ETA on the Trip Planning page, like if it was a time zone issue. I never had this problem with the 430/530 (I still use it on the same aircraft) but since I don't have real world experience with the 650/750 I decided to come here looking for help,…

Hi friends. I spend the summer away from home and my loved simpit so I have installed FSX in my laptop. Can I install my GTN750 as well. I purchased one license but dont know if it is tied to my home Pc or I can install a second time in my Laptop. Tried to find the answer somewhere else and didnt find anything. Is there anyone using the GTN 750 on a tablet? I think it would be a great (more realistic and efficient) way to interface with P3D. A search did not turn up much except for someone using an "external touch screen monitor in undocked window". I did look into this a number of months ago, and what I found available then was F1 Tech's expensive G750 which would (apparently) run on a Windows tablet [only].....So, I am hoping that some simmers are successfully running the 750 on an external tablet. Some Carenado's aircraft only accept Flight1 GNT 750. Can i use my Reality XP with that or are different products?

Hi trying to install the gtn750 into the just flight dr400 which supports the f1 gtn after a hour I have given up trying to do it myself,what I tried first set the dr400 to f1 gtn then in the addons select the rxp gtn which shows up when I open a pop up in the vc but the cockpit panel just has a black space,any help please. thanks,jim

Hi, I have previously purchased GTN750 for my A2A C172. It works fine except the knobs and buttons on VC panel. I tried reinstalling the thing but no chance. On windowed mode I have no problem of any kind. Anyone knows how to solve this out ?

My AV/AM picked up Trojan:Win32/Azden.B!cl upon download of the 750. The 650 was ok. Is this a known issue? All AV companies report this one as severe.

Hi again need some help, I’m using the A2a commanche and after setting up a flight plan in the 750,i then set aircraft a/p on and toggle switch to nav and finally the 750 cdi to gps but the aircraft doesn’t follow the fp, is there some setting in the 750 settings that I have to select if so what should it be or is there a problem elsewhere, really like the gtn very smooth on my system and looking forward to using its full potential. thanks,Jim

Hi I noticed in the 750 menu that the tcad button is greyed out,also when on the ground the map is displayed in red but changes when you switch of the terrain warning, can this be configured. thank you, jim

Hi I just installed the 750 into the A2a commanche, I selected the f1750 in the A2a configurator and in addons reality xp tool I set up the rxp750 this is where I have messed something up as now in the commanche vc panel when select any menus or change radio frequencies is does not make the changes to the pop up 2d panel or vice versa it seems they are not sync up any ideas how to solve this problem, l liked to view the pop up panel in vr as it is easier to read. thanks,jim
