Hi guys, Is there someone over here with Windows 10 installed that can confirm of the Saitek panels displays from the Multi and Radio panel are working? I am asking this because I never got the displays from the Multi and Radio panel to light up with Windows 8.1 that was the reason that I have turned back to Windows 7 and I am still using it. Although a month old, for those who didn't pick up on this one (me included) this article highlights two serious vulnerabilities to Windows Defender: http://www.zdnet.com/article/windows-10-uks-gchq-found-out-how-to-hack-windows-defender-to-own-your-pc/ They should now be patched but for me it highlights two important points. One, don't turn off updates or you won't get the security patches to fix issues like this. Two, don't trust Windows Defender - there's a reason you have to pay for the best antivirus products!

Windows has somehow managed to lose the driver for my sidewinder. I can't seem to locate the driver anywhere. If there a solution to this or could someone send me the relevant files. It happened before and Windows seemed to sort it but I'm scheduled to do a flight later and can't at the moment. Thanks in advance

I've noticed that with Win10-64, that the FreeMeshX install executables do not function. Is this just me, or have any of you noticed it? Various compatibility modes and admin do not work for me.

Hi Guys. Yesterday, I installed the Win10 Securityupdate KB4043961. Since this Update, SIOC does not work anymore. In other words, I can see on the SIOC Monitor, that the Opencockpits MCP knops and Switches do take control there, but no Digits work and they do not light up. The whole MCP is dark. And the MCP does not work at all in the Flightsimulator P3D V4.1. Even an uninstall of the Update did not help. I had to recover a backup, I made before I updated the Windows System to the Securityupdate. Now it works again. This is an audio/discord error that I get when I'm flying in FSX. Doesn't do it to other based gaming or in any other cases. So I'm in discord and can hear all chat that is going on, load FSX on an runaway. I sometimes have no problems but it starts acting up weird when I have to chnage time/zone or flight plain or any case opening an tabs we all know another winnow and once back in game the voice chat in discord volume goes way down and I can not hear what they are saying. Even turning the volume up on discord high doesn't do anything. I got an simple fix is to chnage the output of my speakers from default to my headset and "bang" load and can hear them above t…

Hi, I am having a hard time sharing and gaining access to my workgroup PC´s on the network after updating to 1709 Creator edition. Strangely enough my shortcuts on the desktops for network PC , ASCA and AS2016 as well as direct link to the sharing pc´s folder do work as usual. (Also AS2016 has no problems injecting the weather on my Master PC. But i have no access via windows explorer . Contact administrators it says I do not have setup a dedicated homegroup . Hi, Lately (after Black Friday sale) and installation of DD Design New York and Washington X my windows 10 version 1709 is acting strange. i have a hard time using the start menu and the shortcuts on the taskbar. There is some solutions around the web like : 1. Try reinstall graphic drivers 2. WSreset.exe 3. Powershell command to re-register apps 4. Rolling back to a prior version of Windows 10 i havent roll back but tried 1-3 , and was wondering if anyone else is having this issue or maybe have a fix? Thanks Michael moe

Doesn't matter how I install it, or how how I 'clean' the disk before installation, why does Windows 10 insist on so many silly little partitions? Partitions

So just yesterday I did a full reinstall of windows on my machine and I installed P3D v4.1 but the program will not launch due to this error: https://imgur.com/vTq5CvC At a loss for what to do. Maybe it's from being on 1709? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm pretty desperate to get this up and running.

Since the W10 Creators Update I have had very bad AA trough Nvidia Inspector. I had to use the in FSX anisotropic filtering option to get acceptable AA but to a fairly huge fps loss. The cure is to set in NI "Antialiasing compatibility" to "Diablo III" (0x004412C1) as per this post : https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=62072 Now my AA is working as before & fps are back . Rob McCarthy at Lockheed Martin is reporting that the 12 Dec 17 update (KB4054517) to Win 10 version 1709 (Fall Creator's Edition) has finally solved the "Error creating child window" problem on 32-bit versions of P3D running under Win 10 64. Any other experiences (good or bad) after installing this update? Are FSX, FSX-SE, and/or P3Dv3 working again after several months of butt pain surrounding these errant Win 10 updates? Current status.... P3Dv3 installed over Win7 on one drive, XP11 installed over Win10 on another separate drive, which I swap out in the same computer depending on which program I want to run. Purpose... I want to either upgrade the Win7 drive to Win10 or do a full Win10 install on the current Win7 drive, then install P3Dv4 in place of v3. They are smaller SSD's and I'd like to keep the XP11 and P3D programs and add-ons separate from each other. Goal....both programs on separate Win10 drives, and swap drives as above. Horrible upgrade for me. Wouldn't even let me create a FOLDER on my desktop, and that infamous swirling blue circle was back! Reverted back to previous Windows 10 version this morning and now all is well. Did this on December 10, 2017. Stan

This is getting a bit annoying. Windows 10, Home Edition, keeps updating my NVidia Driver to the latest official version. I keep rolling back to 384.94, clean minimal install (driver and HD Audio only), re-do the P3D and X-Pane profiles, rebuild the P3D shaders. Then Windows 10 sneaks in and slaps the more recent WHQL driver behind my back. It doesn't show up in the Windows Updates list, but I have to presume it's Windows doing it because I don;t have any of the other NVidia bloatware even installed. As with many, many others I have an unstable FSX:SE experience after build 1709 installed on my system. However, I've tried to make the best of it and - you know what - I've found a silver lining! I got tired of CTD and 'child window' issues, of missing menu dropdowns and erratic behaviour so, since I haven't done it properly for a few years now, I decided to do a forensic test of all my settings (not tweaks - just settings). I set a standard flight and then trialled slider combinations, I experimented with Affinity Mask settings, I tested the effect of autogen buildings and trees per cell and a few more besides. Hi All, I just got the Windows 10 Fall Update 1709 and I use FSLabs A320 on FSX Steam Edition. However I have been getting quite a lot of CTD's and I get this weird error called "Cannot create child window" and it shuts down FSX. Can someone help please?
