Will Pilot2ATC work with Sim-Avionics737, which I use on my Jetmax737?

Just in the middle of a long haul and my plan took me just north of quite a storm. I was wondering, had that storm been in my way, I would have had to divert around it. What is or is there a procedure in P2A to request a course change for weather? Would I use the "request direct to xxxx" away from the cell and then once past it "request direct to xxxx" which would be the next waypoint of my flightplan and then continue on as normal? thanks for any insight, p

I have to say that this latest version of P2A is the most stable that I've used since I started. I've completed 3 flights now without any major issues. Nice work Dave.

With every new update, all my edits in taxi manager disappears. I have to redo all edits from scratch. This is really getting tiresome. Can I save the database before updates and restore it afterwards?

I did my first flight today with the latest version 2213. It was from ENGM to EKCH. It went perfectly except for when I contacted the tower before take off, I was cleared even though I had an aircraft in front of mye and one on final. When I was on final, an aircraft taxied on to the runway just as I was coming over the threshold.

If I purchase p2atc,can I install the key on another computer that is not connected to the internet? and I read in the manual that one could possibility do a network connection using another computer. Where can I find out how that connection is made? it is not in the manual. terry.

A perfect flight, but still not loading flight plan into FSX

Win10, XP11 r1, P2A 2.2.1.3 Thank you for the latest version with fixes. I'm noticing that P2ATC still sometimes inexplicably shuts down/crashes during a flight. The simulator continues unaffected to destination. I can't relate this behaviour to any particular issue. For info, cheers, Bruce

Is there any way of saving a flight in order to resume it later? Say if you were on a long flight and you had to leave the house and shut off your computer, could you save the flight and resume it the next day. Thanks for help. Harry

Hi all, I was wondering if LINDA can determine if Pilot2ATC is also connected to FSX. I am keen to add a routine along these lines: function PTT_button_pressed () if Pilot2ATC is NOT running then toggle standard FSX ATC window end -- otherwise do nothing because Pilot2ATC is listening end This is not urgent, because it takes little time to disable the control within LINDA, but it would be cool to get this going. Coming from the FSX world, when using the Default ATC, on Departure, ATC would vector you to intercept your first leg of flight plan, and then "Resume Own Navigation". In P2ATC, the few departures I have done, it seemed like P2ATC is expecting you to start following your flight plan once you hit 1000 ft AGL flying runway heading... I was waiting for instruction and got scolded that I was off course, but no vectors were initially given. P2ATC did give me vectors once I was off course. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks!

Hi I do not get an answer from ATC any more. Problem seems to be that speech recognition does not get my call, because I do not get the ping tone as acknowledge that speech has been recognized. Worked well some day ago. Speech recognition is working within grammar help and all calls are recognized, thats why i think that ATC doesnt get my call when within airplane. Radio is on, frequency seems to be ok, ATIS works, ClrDel frequency of P2a and X-Plane are the same and is tuned in. Flight plan is filed. Anyone has an idea ?

Something I'm curious about! If an airport has 2 parallel active runways side by side and one is used for landing and the other is used for takeoff, is the runway that is closest to the terminal used for take off and the furthest from the terminal used for landing? I'm not sure but it seems that this is the case in FSX. How does the real world handle this?

Hi, I love Pilot2ATC but every time I try to setup the PTT Joystick button or the SayIt Joystick Button the Setup window opens behind the P2A Configuration window and can not be reached. I have tried different screen resolutions but it always opens behind the P2A Configuration window. Has this already be addressed? Is there a fix? Thanks for Pilot2ATC and it would be nice to have this available too.

I don't seem to be able to get this to work, one thing I am doing wrong or missing a step? Have read every chatter topic in the last 12 pages of forum and read the manual over and over. I have set up as in page 94, with 20 wav files in each folder, numbered 1.wav to 20.wav. Should they start from 0.wav ? Page 95, have made as shown, have tried as in top line Sound Source bare, single files and controller folders. The root folder I have tried both empty and supplied the actual directory of where I have put the sound directory's. When using chatter in 'airport folder' mode, where do I put my unicom sound files? Also would be useful to know where to put General Central files when at small airports such as KELN unicom folder?? WT80 folder?? Cheers Paul

Thank you for this great ATC software, it's amazing, very useful and rather coplete! I have only some questions about the VFR features: flying VFR we have to build our flight plan through several VFR Report Points. And, when we arrive or cross an airport, we most do it across VFR gate points. I can't understand how can we manage this kind of rules in absence of all these VFR waypoints. We have also to make reports passing the points to ATC naming these points. All these communications are usually (as I am aware of) directed to Center and, after that handed off to Approach. Maybe fixed in your coming update. Descending in VFR last night, App told me what to expect and a bit later said to report 8 mile final. Reported 8 mile final and were ignored until I had landed taxied to parking, shut down and climbed out of the plane. Then I got a string of all the responses I had requested in the hope I would get a reply, cleared to land, weather, taxi to parking. Still enjoying the experience tho.

I've been watching Pilot2ATC develop for some time and recently did the 10-day demo. I flew three regional jet trips - West, Midwest and East. The Flight Planning component is amazing - the best feature of the product, and the Control Panel and Map make P2A very user-friendly. During the flight there were some issues/errors along the way; the most notable being that not once did I hear the words "radar contact" on initial call to Departure Control (leaving from LAS, JFK and CLE). HI there, I have been using P2A on Xplane 11 for a while now and am thoroughly enjoying the experience. I have a fictional airport I created in World Editor and use it in xplane. Is there a way to import it into the P2A database? Thanks.

Migrated to a new computer and P2ATC does not accept password. What should I do? Error message indicates can be activated once for any PC and on a maximum of 1 PC. Does this mean I need to buy it again??? Will contact you also by email.
