I believe it is the Sayit feature that allows you to have the program read back as the pilot...a good exercise when you are starting out - which I did - but now I cannot turn it off - it jumps in and give the pilot readback confirming the instructions before I can do it...any thoughts out how to turn it off? BTW - very impressed w/ the program, instructions, and continuous updating that is done. Chuck

I'm very new to Pilot2ATC so forgive me if this is discussed somewhere but I could not seem to find it. I notice in all the practice sessions for phraseology prefacing the request with the controller name seems to be missing. As an example, I think your are supposed to say: Boston Clearance, Beech 1VB, with foxtrot request clearance to <destination> All the examples are missing the controller preface. I have been reading "Say Again" and listening to Pilot Edge and that is what seems to be the norm. The good news is Pilot2ATC seems perfectly fine with me adding it and seems to just pickup after my call sign. Am I wrong? Mark

So after waiting and waiting I bit the bullet and bought NavDataPro - seems to work great. I have one issue and I wonder if it's me, my data, or a bug - specific to flying into KSFO PFPX gives me a STAR recommendation of BSR3. I charted it and it makes sense. When loading the plan into P2A that is not given to me as an option for a STAR. I have been testing several other flight plans and this is the only STAR (or SID for that matter) that doesn't appear....any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you. Chuck

Heyo! I tested p2a over the last couple of days and I must say I really like it. There are a few things that bother me like not ai traffic chatter ect. but you can find solutions for that and I hope it will be added the future. But there are 2 things that hold me back from buying atm. 1. There are no European ATC procedures and the most annoying thing is that you get handled over to "ATC Center" instead of "Langen Radar" for example. I'm from Germany and that I don't get handed to the right facility name really bothers me :/ 2. Thing are the Airac circles. I know it's mostly navigraph's fault that they don't support p2a atm but that is holding …

Dont know if this has been answered or not but does Pilot2atc institute holding due to weather or traffic? If not Is going to be implemented in the future?

Tried a flight today with the latest version. It was the best one yet. The TOD was right on the money. I was given my approach instructions and landing runway in plenty of time. The only anomaly in the flight was not the fault of P2A. P3D had AI traffic landing with a tail wind. P2A gave me the correct runway for the winds. Great work, Dave. I have a question. Does P2A allow for deviations for weather? I had some nasty thunderstorms along my route that I would have like to have avoided. I didn't try to ask for a course deviation because I wasn't sure what would happen.

Hi, lovin the program, or should I say was. Up to day 8 of my trial and had no problem what so ever. I was ready after trial to pay up because this program has made xplane 11 come to life. Whether I start xp11 or P2A first, once I get connection to xp11 and flick on frequency tab I get a CTD. Nothing really in the log to confirm crash. I even removed all the plugins that I had installed. Im running xp11 latest beta with W10 64. If I dont fire up P2A the sim is fine. Any help would be great. David.

Hello Dave, First of thanks for this amazing product and the work you are putting into it. Ive been using this a week or so and i have one question for now, when i import a flight plan and for example choose the recommended sids and stars will the atc still change those last minute if the winds flipped? or do i have to recheck the recommended star after a 10 hour flight? Edit: While posting another question came to mind, when ATC is vectoring me to the runway will it be aware of the surrounding terrain especially flying at night.. shouldn't be a big issue if it didn't but then i can expect to be a little bit more aware of my surroundings

Working with CereProc Support, they have identified the issue causing their voices to freeze with Pilot2ATC. They are putting together an update to their voices and will let me know when it is ready for download. I will pass that information along here. Dave

I just completed a flight using the JarDesign A320 from San Diego to San Francisco. I knew it was supposed to work with X-Plane but I figured there would be some glitches. Oh no. Not one. P2A was right on the money for the entire flight. I was very impressed.

Don't normally do this but I was looking for voices and stunbled into www.cereproc.com I just can't handle the charges for Ivona (although they are good) limited funds as a senior lol but from what I see these are super quality for HALF price $16.00 USD..normally $32.00 or more usd. You can download and listen to any voice first. It will be under Downloads/Music folder Have osx and windows and other format if interested. On there website price only good thru December. Hi, I bought Pilot2Atc a couple of days ago. It worked fine for a little bit then it stopped working. I would click on the icon and it would seem like it was loading but then it would not come up. My question is whether Pilot2Atc is compatible with Windows 10(which I have). If not, which operating system is it compatible with? Thanks for the advice. Michael Crichlow

So I have done some further reading in the forum and from what I understand not much will happend in the AI department in version 2? Beeing a World OF AI nut I like seeing those Boeings and Airbuses and the pleasure of hearing them on the same ground, tower, aporoach and center frequency I am on. Also seeing them perform the instructions I just heard ATC assign to them is a real joy. I would like to know how Pilot2ATC interact with AI, if at all? Will I be alone on those com frequencies and alone on the airports if I dont want to risk running in to AI traffic, might deactivating AI be the only alternative then? I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10. When I run pilot2atc the window stays minimixed. I can;t get the screen to appear on my display

Hi Dave; I'm having a problem starting the newest update version 2.2.0.3 after downloading and installing.. Normally after I do the update and it starts up it would be visible and ready for use in the lower left corner of my computer. However it's down on the taskbar. When I click on it nothing happens. I do an "ALT-TAB" hoping that it will spring to life but no such luck. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. What do you need from me to help you find out what is going wrong? Hi Dave, Over the weekend i had some time and decided to upgrade to v 2201 and give it a bit of a go. Most unfortunately, i came across a few problems. I planned a quick VFR flight (85nm) from San Carlos (KSQL) to Santa Rosa (KSTS). The route as follows: KSQL to Woodside VOR (OSI), then to SEEMS intersection following v25 to POINT REYES VOR (PYE) and then direct to KSTS. I validated and filed the flight plan and got going. Hi Dave and all, Yesterday night I've installed the new version and tried a flight from LFBZ (Biarritz) to EHAM (Amsterdam) with the brand new FSL A320-X. Update 2201 will not take. Unzipped size is Pilot2ATC_Update_2201.exe 131,847kb, the installer runs and looks normal but when invoking P2A it reverts to P2ATC 2.2.0.0. Size of the Pilot2ATC_200.exe is 3,730kb.

First of all, thank you for Pilot2ATC, for the most part it works great. However, it becomes a bit routine after a while. Thinking it might be a nice addition to add some random events. Some possible examples SID/STAR/RWY gets changed at the last minute due to changing winds Short delay at gate due to weather/traffic/maintenance Assigned to a hold due to traffic Directed to do a go around while on final due to a runway incursion Arrival airport is closed due to weather/emergency and we get diverted to alternate airport divert to different altitude due to reported turbulence or traffic I'm sure there are many other things like that which pilots have to be prepared to…

So, I am running on a networked PC and I thought that I would try increasing my memory from 4 GB to 16 GB to eliminate the stuttering voices that I was experiencing. To my surprise Pilot2ATC viewed the increased memory as a new PC and refused to run without a new registration. With a new registration the application does indeed run much smoother. Kdub
