Hi Dave, After spending a lot of time using the P2A there is still one thing that seems very inconveniently done. The in-game interface. I don't want to spend too much time describing why I find it poorly done so I'll try and make this quick. I've bought an Ultrawide screen monitor which means that now I'm able to use my first monitor as the second which at first seemed great for the program such as P2A. But even after using P2A on my second monitor I'm finding it very distracting needing to look to my right if I want to check anything. So I'm starting to notice some discrepancies in my flight plans which I think causes me to run in to some issues. This may be by design as I'm no pilot and have no idea what should or shouldn't happen here. For example, I planned a flight from KATL to KMCO in EFASS. EFASS chose KATL Depart RWY 28, VRSTY2 SID, Arrive 36R @ MCO, PIGLT4 STAR. I export this plan for the PMDG 737NGX and for P2A. I import in to P2A (I have auto load recommended procedures checked to save me the time), set my planned ground speed, and file accordingly. I see P2A picks a new runway (I'm assuming based upon weather) and a new arrival (now changed to BAIRN3 35R). No big deal I figure - I jus…

Hi Dave There appears to be a problem when it comes to cancelling a flight following during VFR flights, both with and without a flight plan. I have on numerous occasions to date attempted to cancel flight following, but I have unfortunately not been able to do so (ever). Every time I ask to cancel flight following I am told to repeat the request with the destination airport identifier. I find this strange because the sayit function doesn’t even make provision for including the destination airport identifier in the call. Assistance in this regard will be appreciated. Ian

Just throwing this out there as an idea for a possible feature. Would it be possible to pre-pick your gate assignment at the destination when filing your flight plan (or enroute)? It would be awesome if you're lets say flying Jetblue - prepick a gate at T5 in JFK instead of being assigned something random. Maybe even being able to see an airport map while picking so you know exactly where you'll be? This would also be awesome for us GSX users who can now pre-pick a gate in flight so everything is setup for you once you touch down. Just a thought! Hello, i'm in the P2A-Trial and made flight from EGLL to EDDM. Till the aproach everythink was fine and i was so busy with finding my English sentences (i'm a German guy). Then i saw that i forgott to descent at the TOD. The ATC told me fare to late that i have to descent and that i am cleard fpr aproach ILS... Is this a bug? Do i have to make a report that i have reached my TOD? What is the Syntax for this Report? best regards

Hello ... I notice the test flights pdf is for v1.0 of the P2A software. Is there a version of this for 2.0? Or can the original test flights be used in 2.0? Ninja edit with another question. Is there a way to teach ATC the common names for airports, rather than having to phonetically spell the ICAO codes? Kilo Sierra November Alpha is a huge mouthful.

I have been looking around and people say, it works on x11. Im testing on the trial version but it will crash when trying to connect to the sim or not at all even. I have correctly installed xuipc and dont know where to go from here. If I change the controller speech volume from the default 75, I lose all controller speech (the responses appear as text but not sound). Upon restarting P2ATC, the speech is back, but the setting has reverted back to 75, so it does not stick. I find the default volume too low and so would like to find a way to boost it. Thanks.

After updating to ver. 2.1.0.1, I know longer have Say It function using either my assigned joystick button or the on-screen button. I have tried disabling and re-enabling, but that did not work. I have tried with multiple flights. Also, the co-pilot no longer changes frequencies.

I wanted to edit my original heading but couldn't change it. I know there are some freeze issues..not sure its CereProc but maybe Dave will advise us what to do. Did not mean to mislead anyone..They are Sapi5 and should work with other types of voice recognition programs. Thanks, Bob

After numerous attempts to reinstall ERIC and getting that "no internet" message I checked their website. Completely different IVONA now so I sent a message to their "Cloud" support. I did my first complete flight with the latest version. It worked like a charm with a couple of small quirks. I flew from ENGM-ENBO. As I stated in another thread ATIS is working. Everything was as it should be. When I was just about to the runway, ground passed me off to the tower. Tower told me to hold for traffic on approach. Sure enough, there was an airplane on approach. All of a sudden tower told to line up and wait. Being adventurous I started to taxi onto the runway. As I hit the runway, I was cleared for takeoff so I just kept right on truckin'. Sorry if this has covered before. The first sound folder under config next to atc has my root folder for ATC chatter which I downloaded from "whats his face" lol but anyway what are all the directories underneath used for? and the Radio Background etc. When does the chatter start? I have been a PATCX user - liked the software and support, but for a few technical reasons I am looking for another program to use. W/ regard to P2A: 1) The website says: Pilot2ATC does not read weather from other programs. It does read weather from the web and bases its Runway assignments on that. This works great in X-Plane or FSX when they're set to real weather. P3D still seems to think they need to block the Web for security or something, so not very good at coordinated weather there I see that others are using P3D and wonder if this issue has been resolved (I use P3d V3.4). 2) If I am using live wx from the internet does P2A dynamically change …

I haven't had a chance to fly a complete flight yet with 2.1.0.1 but I can report that the ATIS is working again. Looking forward to running P2A through its paces again.

Two questions: 1) I use Navigraph and I understand they are not yet compatible w/ P2A so this may be the answer to my first question, but when I plan a flight in PFPX and input into P2A the STAR that PFPX used (WIGLE2) is not an option in P2A. Is that due to old data in P2A? Windows 10, X-Plane 10.51, P2ATC v2+ Hello Folks, I'm newish to P2ATC but seem to have got most things working really well, including the copilot reading back and changing the radio frequencies, 5*s. I seem to have an issue with flight plans however: 1. Both the simulator and P2ATC are on the same Airac 1612 2. P2ATC imports XP .fms route files but only partially, half the string I have to enter myself. 3. The aircraft (FF B757 200) uses .flp routes from the same original flight planner. 4. P2ATC's route is often different to the aircrafts FMC with wpt names that don't match and missing wpts. Is there any way to rectify this please? I wonder if this …

Hello all, I've had the V2.0 demo running for about 3 days now trying to decide if I'll purchase. I have a few questions and one, what seems like a bug, but maybe I'm doing something wrong. First, I do love the interface...having your flight plan, weather, moving map, etc. all displayed in one screen is great. I have been using MCE and I understand the difference between MCE and P2ATC as far as pushing the buttons of the FSX ATC vs. a whole new ATC. It seems that P2ATC is a little more restrictive when it comes to phrases it will accept but I can live with that. Also, I did the speech training and I'm using this w/ Steam. Yesterday downloaded trial setupP2A_20121.exe Beta, but when I start it as administrator it get to 40% I get a popup - Database Error - Unable to initialize Database. I click OK the program continues to load will connect to simulator but cannot load flight plan. I do get other popups Error Number:1813 State:2 Class:16

I'm using XP11, which I know is not supported, but I'm not sure if these issues are related to that or not (I do not have XP10 to try): 1. I cannot consistently get ATC chatter. Sometimes it's there, but usually I can go a whole flight without any. Sometimes I can activate it by switching to COM 2 and changing frequencies, sometimes not. I am pretty certain that the file structure is correct per the manual or else I would never hear ATC. I have .wav files in each subfolder in the Controllers folder for Apr, Ctr, Twr, etc. I am flying at KSEA. I have controllers file structure selected in options. I have p2a installed on a second machine with widefs..no problem connecting...I thought that putting it on a second machine..would reduce the drain on my machine machine ( plus for using extra monitors) but the only thing I am wondering.. other than connecting a yoke to the PTT (which I can't seem to get right in fsuipc....what is the advantage of networking?) ...Can't see any additional windows on p3dv3 machine.. Do I need to have P2A on both machines? Can I not have sound (like chatter) come thru speakers or do I have to have the wireless g930 attached to the remote machine for P2A work?
