Dave, I made a flight between EDDH to LSZH. EDDH IDEKO Y900 TIMEN UL126 WRB UN850 BOMBI T721 RILAX LSZH The center has asked me to start my descent to LSZH giving me different altitude. Reached 10,000 feet, no further indication of the center or approach. Once again I have at least an indication to continue my descent after APPROACH, but nothing at that time. Conclusion : I went down myself. 1) Would it be possible either to have indications of descent to the end, or that the ATC told us from the beginning that we begin our descent that arrived to the point we will have our next descent APPROACH ? 2) Would it be possible to have an option or a text that…

I thought I'd give P2A a shot since it appears that VOX is done. I downloaded the demo this evening and installed it but when I went to run the program I got an "invalid hardware message". At 60, I don't think my memory is that far gone that I would have forgotten trying this before. I even did a search for an earlier installation, but nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

When I changed frequency, I heard an ATIS of a nearby airport, in addition to the center frequency. Does it solve the problem by setting the radius control or is this a known problem? Thanks Mickael

yes i decided to try the demo out on x-plane 10, i have installed xuipc and followed the instructions, i plan on purchasing after the 14 day trial so i can get the v2 version. my specs are as follow windows 10 pro i-7 6700k at 4.6ghz gigabyte gtx 980ti with 6 gb vram 32 gb ddr4 3200 mhz. when i try to connect after x-plane is already running, it just says having trouble connecting to sim or speech recognition engine.

Hello, The other day Pilot2ATC v.2 was working just fine, now when I open the .exe file with Administrator, it loads up normally and looks like it is opening, but there is no GUI at all. The Pilot2ATC icon shows as if it is open on my Task Bar, but there is no window for it. What could I be doing wrong? Thank you, Bob

Dave, Is it possible to improve the runways automatic selection? Let me explain, when landing on an airport with parallel tracks, the shortest runway should be selected, this is not the case now, I'm testing with LFPG. After well as EGCC particular airport or runway 05R despite what is the longest and 05L for takeoff, it would not be simple. One solution would be to add conditions to select runways for landing and take-off manually and saving (in a file so that we can copy for Relocation) for the software in the future as desired selects tracks automatically. Hello, I use all day since I bought this. I made a flight from Barcelona to Heathrow. Parking at Barcelona, I am applying for clearance. I got my clearance but without the SID. I then send the file again asks my clearance. I always get but without the SID. This is after 3 attempts with send file, I get my clearance with SID. In my configuration is determined by the SID PILOT2ATC. this problem happened to me several times on different airport. Is there a solution? Regards

Hello, I use all day since I bought this. I made a flight from Barcelona to Heathrow. The problem is that in the clearance when there is no departure frequency, we do not have a center frequency. After the takeoff tower didn't give me a frequency of contact. While I am the SID, I was obliged to make a request to change frequency as I find myself at 15nm airport, the default radius for tower is 5nm, a chance that it is answered. One solution would be to set the center frequency in the clearance if the airport does not include departure frequency. Or the tower gives center frequency when cleared takeoff or so of that one is between 2 to 3 nm from the ai…

Hello, During certain times approach the instructions are too fast. The center gives me orders to follow the STAR and makes directly with a change in altitude, frequency or other... I do not have time to respond to the previous order. This happens with ixeg 737, a320 ... all fast aircraft. Are there any way to increase the time between 2 instructions? This happens to you there too? Thank you for your answers.

I have been watching this space for several months now. I saw an earlier post where this was supposed to be released in January, but obviously this has slipped a little. Any better estimate for when it might be released?

Hi there, congrats again for the amazing speed this product is taking shape. I can't wait for final release. Could the developer please elaborate and explain a bit what is the "AI Traffic awareness" built in release v2.0.0.26? Does it mean that now runway assignments and takeoff/landing clearances take into account the movements of existing (not controlled by P2A) AI traffic? That would be a great thing! Thanks

Has anyone gotten this working? I have the background files but it seems to only play the same file on repeat over and over again. I thought I remembered reading somewhere awhile back it doesn't work in 2.0?

Question in the title. I note that P2ATC can be set to HPa and Decimal rather than US terms, but what about the rest. Will it be possible to use/listen to UK terminology either by setting or dependant on where you are flying? Thanks

Can anyone confirm if V2 works with Xplane and PSX? My memory is not great, but I think I had trouble with v1.

I see some major airports lack the Tower frequency, or Ground ...For example LEMD, where we see several Tower frequencies but none Ground I would like to edit the database to add the missing frequencies (that exist in the real airports) , but I have not seen any button to edit the database (as it is in the version P2A v1). Is it possible to edit and modify the database (P2A V2)? regards

I use voxatc today but am interested to see what competition is out there especiallybsince voxatc is not p3d compatible. I have seen the previews for v2 but not a single in flight video. I am not so interested in flight planning, I use other software for that and all these videos seem to show is that big planning window. I would like to know what pilot2atc has that voxatc does not. I am primarely interested in how it controls AI traffic. Too many atc addons conflict with AI due to the fact it does not really control it fully (like voxatc does) This is an important feature for me because I want that World of AI world around me and not having to deactivate it. So I'm currently mid flight and had to step away for a few minutes. When I returned ATC is no longer speaking to me. I figure I must have gone out of range of the previous ATC. Is there a way to find out what frequency you should tune to is and/or a way to restart contact mid-flight? Edit: Found the frequency finder but every frequency I find tells me to tune to 118.00. When I do there I'm getting a repetitive "Check Frequency" message.

Hello, I have been looking for a complete ATC product for my FSX setup, and I am really impressed about this product, and I am trying to understand more its features before purchasing it. I read the manual of version 2 (beta), which covered most of my questions. I read threads here, but I still have a couple of unresolved questions. Basically it all comes back to the way Pilot2ATC is set to interact with other add ons: Weather (I use ASN or REX Architect) and AI traffic (I use UT2). Hello all! I didn't put this under the bug forum as I wasn't sure if this was just a mistake on my part. When tuning to the ATIS freq of any airfield I I don't hear or see anything. I noticed in v1.x it was a text box up top (in XP). In V2.x I noticed theres no text box or any type of audio readout for the ATIS. Am I missing something or is this not implemented yet? -Chris

Some days ago I decided to jump into V20011 but I get the following error before it starts: Unable to initialize Database The underlying provider failed to Open. An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file F:\Altres programes\Programes externs X-Plane\Pilot2ATC_200\Data\P2ADynamicData.mdf failed. So I've been hearing alot about this application recently and with the lack of updates coming on vox which was my go to atc program finally decided to download and give it a shot. So far I'm pretty impressed with what v1.4 provides and was wondering if there was an option (either in current version or future) to simplify the speech assistance. I noticed there was a popup box to provide assistance with various atc phrases and terminology which was nice but seemed a little clunky. Is it possible for an option where it will display (maybe in a different color in text) what should be said? I managed to fumble my way through a few controllers from my experience with vox bu…
