I'm new to P2A and I'm running the trial version 1.4.33 on Windows 10. When I try to assign the PTT to the trigger button on the MAD Catz F.L.Y.5 joystick I can't get the assignment to stick. First, there is a pretty odd list of controllers to pick from, things are in the list multiple times, I have no idea if that is a clue. The very first time I tried to bring up the configuration dialog I got an error that it could not load my joystick information. When I could not get the JoyStick button assignment to work and went ahead and configured it for the spacebar on the keyboard. That worked. I then went back and tried the joystick again. I had an Windows 10 OS issue and ended up re-installing which removed all my installed programs. I installed 1.4.33.3 using Pilot2ATC_1433_Upgrade.exe. The app come up but displays an error when trying to connect. It reads: Problem connecting to SIM or loading Recognition Engine and Grammers. Error: The underlying provider failed on Open. Should I be installing the Demo first and re-registering? If so will the Key I have still work or will a new one need to be generated? Thank you, Jeff

Hi Just wondering if v2 will export flight plans into the ifly 737ng fmc. I am very eagerly awaiting this release as I believe it truly is a one stop for a complete fight experience. thx Lee

Hi I just wanted your recommendation as to whether I should wait for version 2 to jump back in or use version 1. Is there enough of a difference to warrent the wait for v2. thxLee

Not sure it this product is still supported judging from the date of last post but I got the download and when pressing the connect button with FSX running nothing happens.

A-AUDIO My FSX, GSX, other utilities voice/comm are set (configured) to a USB Multi-Channel Audio Device (where I have my Headset/Mic connected to), the same with the Voice Recongnition I/O is to the USB Multi-Channel Audio Device. All other sounds go to my Home Theater 7.1 (System Default Speakers). My microphone works find with Pilot2ATC, but your ATC comes back thru my std speakers not to my headset in the USB Multi-Channel Audio Device***. ***7.1 USB Audio Adapter External Sound Card with SPDIF Digital Audio B-Joystick When I assign button 2 in the joystick in Your ATC assign button number 1 (all button I pressed shows the number - 1). ?????

First of all I must say that I love this app, I can't fly without it =) Ive just updated my pilot2ATC to the last version and noticed that the atc frecuencies (EURO CONTROL ZONES) near Madrid (LEMD) do not exist. When the tower tell me to switch to 124.50 on muy Pilot2 ATC radio window it says "Casablanca center" (Morocco) and when I hit the "test" button it says that that is not a valid ATC frequency. If I try to select the ATC option inside the radio menu and there are no other choices to select, but you can switch back to Madrid tower or madrid approach. It seems that the area is not covered by the ATC. Or maybe I broke something when I updated. M…

If you are unable to register a purchased license or start a trial (assuming you haven't already done the trial), it could be because of the hosting changes don on June 22, 2015. Make sure you have downloaded the version 1.4.0.18 or later. You should be able to register with this version as it points to the correct servers. Due to a change in the Web site hosting environment, we've had to change the name of the website that hosts our license server and the sectional maps. To resolve this problem, download and install version 1.4.0.18 (or later) update and it should fix any issues. Sorry for the inconvenience, but you know what they say about progress.... Dave

I have downloaded the trial version and seem to be having a problem with some of the ground frequencies. At the moment I am at LIPZ [Venice] and when I try to contact ground on 121.70, I get told that I am on the wrong frequency and must use 121.70, which is the frequency that I am on. The same thing happened yesterday at EGBB [birmingham] also on the ground frequency so had to leave out getting an IFR clearance. I don't seem to have a problem with any of the other frequencies and wonder if anyone else has had this problem and could give any advise on a solution. Thanks. Mike

I tried to install and use the 15 days trial last night. The first thing I have notice is that it wouldn't connect to X-plane 10 if I was using EFASS. It also would save the map provider in the config. Is there a way to make the 2 applications work together or is this a x-plane 10 limitation on how many client can be using XPUIC ? I also had some random error when I try to test the TTS. It was telling me the US English package wasn't install but it is. I am using Windows 8.1. TTS was working fine with Multi-crew Experience. I wanted to give your application a try as you know, the atc in x-plane is not very good. Any help would be appreciated.

The release of version 1.4.0.12 which was posted over the weekend had a misspelled grammar file name causing the program not to function. It has been corrected and the downloads should now work. If you downloaded the new version prior to April 8, 2015, and experience an issue with the Grammar file not being found, you can download the update and install it to fix the problem. However, I am running the trail version 1.4.0.10 on Windows 7 and I have downloaded some free voice packs; they show up in the settings under ATC voices but when I select any one other than Microsoft Anna I get the following error:

Hello, I have the program installed and setup. I can connect to xplane. But, when I test I receive the following error: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\mkdug_000\AppData\Roaming\Pilot2ATC\Grammars\PilotGrammar.grxml'. When I check the Grammars folder, It is empty. I have re-installed Pilot2ATC with the same result.

Hello, I just downloaded the demo and updated it to 1.4.10. The demo wants windows to be in US (English). But I'm from europe and have my windows in german language. (Win7 ultimate). So what can I do now to get it to work?

Hi, I have been following the upgrades for some time. They are pretty straight forward and generally work. When I upgrade from 1.4.0.6 to 1.4.0.10 everything looks fine. I see no errors. But the app comes up displaying the old version. Strange, what did I miss? Jeff

Hi Just want to let you know that I am very pleased with the progress of your product. I've tried all the atc programs and pilot2atc really stands above the rest. I recently downloaded the latest version and when I click on the radio tab , I get the unhandled exception error saying something about the font. I press continue untill error goes away and things appear ok. How can I fix this to get rid of this error thx Lee

For those of you who have struggled with having your speech recognized, this newest update might make the difference. In previous versions, the default initial speech wait time was very short (half a second) and if you did not begin speaking in that time, the recognizer engine stopped listening. This time can be set by you in the configuration window, but if you left the default, you may have had very poor results in your attempts to be recognized. The default is now 1.5 seconds (30%), so you can press the PTT button and have up to 1.5 seconds to start talking. Hi everyone, new to the forum and P2ATC. Is there a specific message to give ATC when you are descending after TOD (top of descent)? For example, after reaching TOD and descending from 28,000 feet, ATC says it wants me to climb and maintain FL280 (per my flight plan). Obviously, when only say, 20nm out from the airport, you can't just drop from that flight level. So, I have just been ignoring the ATC, and proceeding with the descent anyway. But is there correct terminology to tell ATC that you are performing a normal descent into the approach region of the destination airport? - Bill

Hi, Just purchased Pilot2ATC but the registration process failed. I entered the registration key code but get this error: "Remote name could not be resolved. vanbergconsulting.com". Help. Jim

When selecting the Charts button, I'm asked to download the charts. After I download the charts how do I get them in the Charts window? Didn't see an explanation on how to do this. Of course I may have missed it in the manual but I can't find it. Thanks, Jim
