To any who have a network set up. I have the program running over a net work, even have ATIS playing by running a connection from headphone jack on main computer to the line in jack on network computer. The problem I have though is with the COM radios. When I have COM 1 on in FSX COM 2 is shown as active in Pilot2ATC on the network machine. When I try to change to COM 1 in PILOT2ATC to match FSX it just stays stuck on the opposite COM channel. Any ideas?

I have been having trouble getting IFR clearance when I operate out of a uncontrolled airport. To be specific KENL. Centralia Ill. When I try to call MKC Center I get no reply. In real life you can Phone call FSS and get a void time. Or you can call when off the ground and file that way. I have tried also to file once I'l off the ground but I get no response. I downloaded Pilot2ATC update version 20011. When I fly out of a controlled airport everything operates ok. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Harry

Hi Dave, I have a Win10x64 pc dedicated to Pilot2ATC with its own display. This set up works in all respects in my multi pc cockpit over a network with X-Plane 10.45 when I run Pilot2ATC v1.43. The voice control etc works fine with great recognition. I have installed v2.008 into a separate folder at the root of C and Pilot2ATC starts fine and communicates with XP. It reads radio frequencies, it can write the altitude and climb rate to the AP BUT it won't load the grammar files nor will it put the yellow plane icon on the map and move the map. If I continually click on the "centre map on aircraft" button the map moves and centres the position of the aircraft at the…

Hi, I'm trying to install NatDataPro data into Pilot2ATC in order to make its navdata consistent with other utilities I have. NavDataPro complains that it cannot find Pilot2Atc.zip. Am I missing something here? Thanks, JJ

I posted this in the VOX forum but I'm guessing it will get more views here. Anyone have any thoughts? I'm always careful about comparing one piece of software in another's forum but since this is an unofficial forum for VOX and there's no telling when there may be an update for P3D coming, I was wondering if anyone here has used both programs? How does Pilot2ATC compare with VOX? I'm especially interested in anyone who is testing v2.

The solution to this topic is probably very simple so I apologize in advance. The Multi-Function Display screen and also the A/P screen keeps wanting to go full screen when trying to move them. I can resize it and it will stay that way until I try to move it to say another part of the screen. It will then fill the whole computer screen. I then have to resize it. Very annoying. Is there a setting, on both the Multi-Function Display screen and the Autopilot screen, that will stop it from going full screen when trying to move them?? Thanks in advance. Harry

I'm sure it's me that's the problem. When I engage the A/P after takeoff the autopilot doesn't follow the routes in the Fltpln. Even when I engage the Nav button on the A/P. I have to manually fly the fltPln with the A/P by putting in the headings to follow the legs of the route.. I am probably overlooking something. I am using the Beech Baron to fly and get familiar with Pilot2ATC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Harry

I downloaded V1 ages ago, but never got around to trying it out. Now that V2 is almost out, I am more interested. I was wondering if you can set the pilot->ATC communications to text only? I am not that confident that I can do the voice commands. But of course I still want the ATC to talk back to me. All the other features (moving map, flight planner, etc) look very impressive and might be worth it just for those features.

Hi I just installed the update and my font problem is solved! I do have a question though. When i connect to the sim the com window is stuck on com2 and won't switch to com1 regardless of what the aircraft radios are set at.The nav side works great. When I press the TERPs button and select an ICAO and then click on the desired runway from the drop down box and then select the approach (for example) button the TERPs browser window displays a "Navigation Canceled" message, and then opens up Adobe Acrobat Reader DC with my selected information. This is my default application to use for viewing PDF files. My question is there a way to make the PDF open inside the TERPs browser window and not launch Acrobat Reader?

I am (almost) dying to give P2A a try but I can't use actual audio so I am interested in the 'Say it' option. Am I correct that this is totally new and v2 only? I would love to give the v1 demo a try but it's no use if it doesn't have that (or a similar) option and I can't find it on the v1 manual. I know I can buy v1 and participate in the v2 beta but well, P2A isn't the cheapest addon and I'd like to test it first before I spend that kind of money. If it isn't in v1 I will have to wait until beta has been closed and v2 is officially released.

Since Pilot2ATC doesn't use ASN or have an option for other weather sources, I would like to use historical weather, is that possible? On the list of features to be added? From the manual: "This may vary from the information being given on ATIS in the SIM as it is pulled independently, directly from the web site whereas the ATIS information is provided according to the settings on your SIM." That might be my answer but I wanted to confirm is the weather based on the current PC time or the Simulator time. Thank you,

Hello, hope you can help. I downloaded the demo at the weekend to test it in Xplane10 on a client machine over a network. It did work up to a point, but i was having a couple of issues with it that made it unusable (namely, it was completely oblivious to all Ai traffic, and Ground services at my departure airports were the only services that would speak to me) So, i thought i'd try it on my (much more powerful) server pc. However, it wont let me start/continue the trial. Upon start-up it gives me the error "Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program. Please purchase a license" I uninstalled and re-downloaded the trial and upgrade package, but…

Hi New user; I am currently using the Demo version. Everything seems to work ok. My only concern is that it keeps pausing when I fly the A/C and want to use the Radio or do something in the Pilot2ATC screen. For instance while flying if I get a clearance or anything else and I want to respond and click into the Pilot2ATC panel it will pause the flight until I finish the conversation.Then I have to click outside the Panel and press the "P" to unpause the flight sim. I'm thinking it must be a setting somewhere. BTW the Connect button is in the on position. Thanks in advance. Harry

Hi Guys: Quick question I want to add a looping chatter file and want it to play at all times which lane would I add it to in the sounds menu - meaning I dont want to wait for a trigger at a certain point in the flight - thank you

I don't own Pilot2ATC v1 but I am very interested in v2, specially because of the new SayIt function. So far I noticed one video of v2 but that was with voice control and (heaven forbid) ATC chatter from another source (which doesn't help to get a good impression of the add-on). I am hoping to see a lot of v2 video's soon: maybe a special topic can be opened for this...? And hopefully the dev and beta team will also create some video's showing SayIt in all its glory? :wink:

Guys As in any software development, there can be last minute bugs/issues that come to light. Today has been one of those days. Therefore the release will be delayed until next week -end. This will give us more time to make sure that when you get the BETA it will be as robust as any BETA can. We want you to have good experiences from the off and find those hard to find issues that we have missed, not the simple ones that we should find before BETA release.
