Is there a way to combine numbers in the call sign? For example with Southwest 3254, P2A says/understands 3-2-5-4 instead of 32-54 like in real life. I thought it was possible in the past but I might be confusing it with Radar Contact. From the manual it seems there is option 1 only.

had a flight from ksfo with ActiveSID: RW28R-AFIVA1-JAYKK and ActiveSTAR: RW28L-TMBRS2-MACHU to kpdx with VECTORS to HANNA and ActiveAPPR: ILS - RW28L - I28L. It was a nice flight until way point PORTL and was handed off to SEATTLE CENTER on One Two Four Point Two with the next way point was TMBRS and everything froze. I couldn't do anything in P2A not even close the window no buttons worked, nothing. Task manager showed the P2A was using cpu time but no response. FSX continued normally and landed. Usually when P2A takes to long to respond, I would see the message (NOT RESPONDING) in the windows title bar but I didn't even get that. I finally had to kill P2A through…

I love Pilot2ATC but I've tried 8 different flights now and Pilot2ATC has crashed every single time. Never at the same place. I can get airborne but at some point in the route I get an exception pop-up, I click Continue but ATC now stops talking or responding to me. I quit, start it back up but now I am not on the flight plan because it thinks should be at my departure airport. I've tried LSS - LSZH 3 times, KATL - KTLH, KATL-KDTW 3 times, KTYS - KATL. I know others seem to have no issues. I've got a top of the line computer, Graphics and X Plane runs wonderful, I just can't get a flight to complete from start to finish.

2.2.1.2 Fixed all the issues I had reported before, great job! I imagine this is the intersection of three center coverage areas. Somewhere between KBUR and KEDW I notice P2A always trasfers me to center then immediately tranfers me to another center, that before I can even readback the first. No big deal though.

Having a problem since Windows 10 updated itself the latest update with the Game Mode. It seems to have installed some different voices (George Mobile etc) and these do not appear in the voices set within the A2P Config settings window. Instead it shows the old voices (eg Microsoft Zara Desktop etc). When I try and preview the voices within the config, silence! When I go into Windows settings and to speech, the new voices don't work - or at least they can't be previewed. This seems to be a Windows inflicted problem rather than a P2A issue. Hi After installing version 2.2.1.2 the program stops at the initial screen. Just displaying 'Welcome - Checking License Status'. I have tried to delete the settings.xml file and I then get the trial screen. When I try to register it just displays an error. Oh no, after installing 2.2.1.2 I get a zillion "Your SQL Server installations is either corrupter or has been tampered with" error messages when I open P2A. any suggestions

Hello, I'm working with the P2A demo and trying to do a short IFR flight into an uncontrolled airport (leaving from a towered airport). Everything is great on departure and I'm handed off to center. As I approach my TOD marker I am not given any sort of descent instructions nor any new altitude clearances. The only thing I get is traffic advisories. In fact, I blew by my destination airport at FL170 with no comment from ATC. My route was KEYW - JOVCU - MTH - MNATE - 07FA, no SID/STAR, cruise at FL170, GS 300 kt. I also tried to request radar vectors for a straight-in visual but ATC ignored me. How do I get descent guidance and vectors to the active runway?

I have been having this problem ever since I went to 2.2.1.1. Getting P2ATC to read the weather for the airports seems to take quite a while. I would enter a departing and destination airport and I would expect that I could see the weather fairly quickly but instead I get weather is not available. I was using NOAA but then I switch to just downloading it in X-Plane and letting P2ATC read it from the METAR.rwx file. Even in that situation P2ATC does not seem to read it immediately. If I switch back and forth between ATIS and other frequencies and / or go into X-Plane a force a weather refresh P2ATC will all of sudden get the weather but I feel like I always have to fight w…

Hello, I just downloaded P2A and am trying to demo. I saw in the tutorial and user guide that you can access the US terminal charts through the application but I cannot find this in the app itself. I noticed there is a "Appr" button on the right side of the map, but clicking it doesn't do anything. What am I missing? I'm running 2.2.1.1. Thanks!

Win 10, XP11 r1, P2ATC latest - no extra voices, Zibo's B738 latest version. This is just for info. LEGE-EDDM - P2ATC controlled the flight perfectly and at the end gave one vector toward the ILS and then P2ATC crashed. The flight continued & concluded perfectly. Cheers, Bruce

I was having some crashing problems on my PC most likely due to some bad overclock settings. Windows ended up with a BSOD while running X-Plane and Pilot2ATC. After I rebooted and tried to run Pilot2ATC again it didn't think it was registered. When I tried to enter my key again I'm getting a complaint that says: "A License Key can only be activated once for any PC on a maximum of 1 PC" The key is definitely a valid one, what is happening? Crashes on P2A are expected occasionally so how do you pickup where you left off if you're in mid-flight? After I load P2A again, load the flight plan it thinks I'm starting at the departure airport again? Any advice?

I find it really peculiar that ATC will not understand Say It sometimes when doing Requests or Reports and Copilot doing read backs

I am not an experienced simmer, I haven't touched flight sims in many years and I have significant issues grasping (even after 10 days with X-Plane 11 and three days with Pilot2ATC) some of the features. I can lift off and land, do a startup (in a Cessna) and get around the built-in ATC rather well. Pilot2ATC is, sadly, another story. I love the setup, the flight plan, the maps, the integration, but I can't get the ingame ATC to shut up. I can mute it, but still have the text messages, and I would much rather see Pilot2ATC take care of AI traffic. I know it's possible, but have not yet figured out how. Under certain circumstances, the use of CereProc voices has been causing the Speech Synthesizer engine to crash, bringing Pilot2ATC down with it, or causing Pilot2ATC to freeze. I have alerted CereProc to this issue and will work with them to try and find a resolution. In the meantime, I recommend you do not use CereProc voices. Microsoft and Ivona voices are not causing any issues. Regards, Dave

Two questions - PTA crashed last night and I assume in order to help pinpoint the issue I will need to send in a log - but I can't find it. Can someone point me in the direction of the log (I assume a .txt file). Also, I have the volume 100%, but when the chatter plays through my headset it isn't as lout as I would like. Is there a volume control in PTA for chatter? The volume for my ATC is good - it is just the chatter that is low. Thank you very much!!! Chuck

I feel like I am hogging the forum - and I truly apologize. In a previous post I asked about finding the crash log or error logs as I had a failure last night - it happened again and after I called for IFR clearance. I was at KORD going to KMSP. image upload no size limit . I see there was discussion about the topic mid year 2016 and from what I can tell it was looked at as a bug. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! On a positive note, I will say that I love the software and continue to learn and gain confidence. Cheers. Chuck

Running 2210 - Using a Logitech headset/mic and have PTT tied into my yoke. When I push to open up the microphone the PTT turns green which tells me my trigger is set up correctly. But sometimes (which has tuned into most of the time) it will not hear me and I don't get the confirmation tone after speaking. I've tried speaking slowly and clearly as well as closer to the mic but it almost feels random as to when it picks up my voice. I have the Voice Capture Device in P3D set to Microphone (3-Logitech G930 Gaming Headset). Also, when I use my mouse on the interface PTT turns green but it still isn't hearing me (though it did when I first started my flight). …

Hi guys, Didn't found information on this one. I am on p3d and "Forced pilot RWY" is checked. Flying VFR with filed FP with desired destination RWY approach. Flight is going smooth, copying clearance, ground, ( if i ask for different departure RWY it would be approved), tower, center. On destination approach if the winds are in favour of opposite RWY the i have selected, approach would tell me to expect oposite RWY and hand me to tower. Calling tower, i am requesting my RWY, request was understood, but tower is still coming back to me with oposite RWY. I can repeat request few times and every time i got same answer, sending me to oposite RWY. Tried this on fervd…

Yes!!! KEMV (no tower) to KCLT in a B200. Picked up IFR on the ground, ATC did everything absolutely perfectly, and I managed not to screw anything up. It's SO satisfying when it all comes together! Thanks, Dave, for a really great add-on! - Steve
