Flight from KLAS to KELP went ok until ATC started vectors to Rwy 22. Gave initial vector call and showed path on map and then went haywire from there. Gave another vector call to Rwy 22 at Dona Ana County at Santa Teresa (KDNA). KDNA has Rwy 28. Then no more vectors given. I went ahead and flew the vectors shown and ATC woke up when I was established on final to KELP.

I was trying a short flight from EGFF to EGLC. The screenshot shows the assigned STAR (in blue). Everything was fine until I reached the BIG VOR when ATC directed me to heading 045 and descend to 6000ft for ILS on rwy 27 (this is the yellow line). At BIG I was 16000ft and couldn't descend in time to land. Why did the ATC cut the STAR like this? Can I stop it happening again?

First, I want to say thanks as I have started using this program this week and it adds the final layer of immersion I have been missing in my flight sims. I was wondering if you have had a chance to look at the SDK for exporting flight plans to the new CRJ that was released on Aerosoft this week? I have purchased this aircraft and its a pain to have to manually program the fmc. Keep up the good work! -Brian

I don't have Navigraph or Navdatapro so which do I download. Also, what data does this update provide for gate information. I downloaded the Update version and It doesn't recognize the gate edits that I made in taxi mgr.

Hello. I bought Pilot2ATC two weeks ago, and I like it. Last night when I was flying from Heathrow to JFK, I wondered few things. - Is it somehow possible to alling Pilot2ATC with X-Plane 11 airport gate/terminal data ? If you do it manually, it takes ages, example JFK, has a lot of gates. Pilot2ATC does not recognize all JFK gates. - Background chatter, back when I was using FSX, I used ProAtcX as my ATC and FSX own ATC as a background ATC to control AI traffic and as a chatter. Hello all, I just returned to XP 11.02 after 3 very frustrating days with 11.05r2. First, my system - ASUS G752 gaming laptop with i7 7777 and 16GB with nVidia 1070 with 8GB. It allows me to run with everything maxed out. My plugins are xEnviro, PlaneCommand (tell your copilot to make adjustments to the plane), various small Lua scripts, and Pilot2ATC. That last one isn't really a plugin, but a stand alone program that communicates with XP via XPUIP. I also use at times VfrFlight which communicates with XP via a network address. THE PROBLEM: I set up my flightplans with Pilot2ATC and transfer them to the GPS in the plane. P2A also has a moving map, so I minimize…

Hi guys I know this is not a fault of P2ATC or the Jardesign A320 neo but does anyone know how to get them to work together ? P2ATC works perfectly ..the A320 is faultless and the Flightplan,transponder and even frequency changes work fine..I cannot get the EGKK ATC on P2ATC to react at all, not even the "say Altimeter" yet when I try the practice mode the Voice to text is near perfect through the whole range of ATC commands,responses etc..this problem is specific to this plane as I switched plan without restarting game at same Airport EGKK and the P2ATC works perfectly.. same plugins ( apart from the ones loaded by A320).. Hello I have done now my first p2a flight from eddh to eddl. P2a had recommended crz fl of 100 but i have changed it to 200. It gives me an initial fl of 4000ft and then of fl 100. Thats it for the whole flight. I tried to climb on my own drcision but p2a complains and advises to sink again to fl 100. What am i doing wrong ? Many thanx fir your input Rg christian

my answer is yes, definitely ! I tried 124thATC(0€) and xLife de Luxe(19€). Both have their justification and are not bad, but P2A offers a lot more which is why the 69€ is good invested money. I only have some issues with the sounds. I admit, some of them may have not to do with P2A but with MS Speech Engine.... a) When I press the Sayit button I hear a long lasting melody which nerves me. Under Config I don't find a possibility to turn this off b) The chatter mp3 files are played in loop until the change to another controller. Hi Dave, I've waited before posting about this until I am almost certain it's not just now and then. On every flight I've done recently (all IFR plans, GA aircraft, ~200 mile flights) the last comm I get from ATC is the IFR approach clearance. I never get handed off to an approach controller, never get redirected if I intentionally go off-course, and am never given a "descend and maintain"... Everything will be perfectly normal until "cleared for ILS approach to runway ... ". P2A is still "alive" - moving map continues to work, ETE time and distance updates, etc. Just no more ATC interaction. I haven't spoken to ground or tower in a destination airport in many …

Hi I am having issues with frequency assignments from P2A. I am currently using AIRAC 1707 Rev1 from Navigraph as I understand there are issues with newer releases containing extra info that P2A is not ready for, so I have rolled it back. At ENVA, the P2A main interfaces shows: ENVA App: 118.60 ENVA App: 119.15 (This is not APP, it should be DIR) ENVA ATIS: 127.55 ENVA Twr: 119.40 ENVA Twr: 122.10 ENVA Twr: 133.75 Using the second approach frequency I can get IFR clearance, and the program issues the correct AIRAC ground frequency which is 121.60, however as you can see, P2A doesn't register the 121.6 in the main interface, and when tune…

Hello I am new with P2A and have downloaded the trial version. I generated, validated and filed a FP EDDHEDDL. All works great. ATIS works, can hear it. Now I put the EDDH Grd frequiency 121.8 and used the Say It button to ask for FP clearance, can hear P2A saying that, no problem. But I don't get an answer(have set under Config all voices) Then I saw that I am not connected to the Sim. I pressed Connect and get the message "unable to create Speech Recognition Engine for English US language, installed speech recognizer de-DE, be sure a windows US English Culture Pack is installed". Hello, I'm currently practicing approaches and P2ATC is vectoring me very well. My requests for vectoring as well as my readbacks for heading and altitude are understood well, but every time I use the phrase "say again" I get an "unhandled exception". It seems to be a bug. Oh, I'm running the latest beta.

Hello Dave et.al.., Yesterday I upgraded to 11.05r1 and have not finished a flight since then. Mostly xplane gives me that little box in the middle of the screen saying "xplane cannot continue, etc..." Today, I got a Blue Screen of Death saying stop code WORKER_INVALID. That stop code has something to do with allocation of memory. The trigger for all these events in opening P2A from the taskbar where I had it minimized. I have worked this way ever since I started with P2A. When I wasn't using it, I minimized it to the taskbar. I found that I could still talk with it minimized. However, clicking the taskbar to put P2A back on screen is when I get in trouble. Mo…

Hello! Super new guy here! New to flight sims in general. I'm having a problem with tower at my destination. It seems to give me the active runway at my departure airport rather than the active at my destination when flying VFR (no clue about IFR yet). I start at KOWD, get taxi clearance to active (35), get takeoff clearance, squawk 1200, get frequency change approved, and tune to KBED. About 10 miles out, I do "Say active runway <callsign>" and get runway 29 back. I then say, "<callsign> inbound at 2500 for landing <active runway>" and get back "Enter pattern for left downwind runway 35". If I try to specify runway 29, I get "request denied" or somethi…

Hello Dave and all, I have a quick question: should I load P2A first, or xPlane? I ask because the other day 2 hours into a flight P2A became sluggish and finally closed with an out of memory message. I was able to reload it and reload the flight plan while the plane merrily flew on. But from the standpoint of memory management I'm wondering what load order is optimal..... I have 16GB to play with, Secondly, I want to share something that I learned the hard way. When I first installed P2A, I thought that I needed to have Windows 10 Voice Recognition running. Hi I have just installed 2.2.1.9 R3 with Nav Data Pro 1701 Main download and then ran the 2.2.1.9 R3 Update and when I come to start Pilot2ATC it hangs at 10% and opens an error message. unable to initialize database.The underlying provider failed to open.Cannot open database "G\PILOT2ATC_200\DATA\P2ADYNAMICDATA.MDF.requested by the login.The login failed. I am having this issue where ATC does not understand the copilot. Case 1: ATC transfer to new freq and copilot reads back, then ATC repeats the frequency back because didn't catch what the copilot said. And the copilot gets lost. Copilot changes the frequency but never report to the new frequency. Case 2: Copilot responds and ATC ask to repeat because "you were garbled". But copilot never repeats and it gets lost.

Sometimes on longer flights in PMDG aircraft when I reach a point where I save the flight. Then resume it at a later time. This works fine. If I am also using P2A with that flight can I also save P2A at the same time? Then pick up the PMDG flight and P2A and continue on with the rest of the flight. Using P3D V4 Thanks to all who reply. Hi Dave, I know you said you fixed a bug causing the co-pilot to not switch frequencies in 2.2.1.8...but i just flew 2 routes, from KLAS to KDEN, and then KDEN to KORD. During both flights, The copilot missed probably 75% of the frequency hand offs to the new frequency. A couple of times, the controller read off the new frequency, and the copilot said it back (correctly), and then the controller read it again like the copilot read it back incorrectly, at which point the copilot didn't respond. In all cases where it didn't do the hand off, i changed the freq manually, and as soon as i did that the copilot contacted the controller with the correct information. …

Hi Dave and fellow P2A users, I am on the last few days of the trial and will definitely buy when it runs out. I am hoping to add a few more MS voices to give a bit more variety, and I know that Dave said in a post you can download extra language and speech packs, which I have done from within the Windows 10 settings page. So at the moment Windows is showing that I have 8 voices installed, all showing them as "Mobile", which I know are not compatible with P2A, but "David,Hazel & Zira", show up in P2A voices as desktop voices, and they are "Mobile" voices according to MS settings, so I am a little confused. So how do I get more MS voices that will show up as desktop vo…
