Hello, I just applied for a 10 day trial, and everything works except the scripts of the Language Trainer program. When I select for example "Tower" and I click "Train", nothing happens... Do you have a solution for me? And alternatively, I'm using your product in order to practice VFR flights in France. Do you have specific advices to give me according to that? I find that Pilot2ATC has some unusual restrictions with regard to adding a visual approach for IFR flight plans. Normally it seems that if you try to file an IFR flight plan without an instrument approach, you an error dialog suggesting you add the recommended approach, or manually add one. It won't file the flight plan. Visual approach is not provided as an option for manually adding an approach. Recently I was filing an IFR plan to an airport that didn't have any instrument approaches so it automatically added a visual approach.and generated waypoints for the visual approach to the active runway (nice feature). a) Why is it required that I pre-select an appro…

Has anyone tried using VR and bringing P2A up on a window inside the virtual viewer??? They say it can be done, but I'm curious if anyone has tried it???

Hi, i am new to P2A. and i have a question regarding exporting .txt files, i notice when i export a .txt file to the FF A320neo dir. ( x-plane 11 ) i don't see the waypoints in the exported text file, online the dep. and arival airport.

In the ATC config settings, there is a item called "Controller name radius". I can't seem to find any explanation for this. What does it do? Thanks again. Enjoying the application immensely.

It doesn't look like the Grammer helper and examples in Pilot2ATC include the calling station, even when the request would usually be the initial contact. That's a bit confusing since it is recommending calls that are not standard with how they would be performed in the real world?

Is there any way of finding out all the recognised non US VFR Pilot/ATC commands that P2A will respond to, are they in a text file somewhere. Glen

I'm using version 2.3.0.1 with P3Dv4 and having read a lot of the manual (not all yet) I've got Pilot2ATC working pretty well. One problem I have noticed is there are no ATIS frequencies showing in any airport, even the larger airports like Heathrow and Gatwick. When I look in INFO or FREQ most of the correct frequencies are display except ATIS ? If I get the ATIS frequency from another source like RW charts and select that frequency I can hear the ATIS normally. I have imported the P3Dv4 Scenery Library using P2A 'Gate and Taxiway Maintenance' page, all gates and taxiways look good. What else have I missed ?

Hi Dave, while waiting for the WT to P2A interface I have started to create taxi routes for my xplane airports by using p2a taxi maintenance. One question: do you consider the scenery.ini file? Some of my airports exist twice. One from the standard xplane, the other downloaded from scenery gateway. Both must stay. So the first one is disabled in the scenery.ini file. I guess when I create the taxi routes via taxi maintenance p2a does not ignore the disabled scenery. Do you look in the scenery.ini file? This is very important when using Xplane. Second question: some taxi routes in xplane are defined as one way taxiways. Does p2a consider this? …

I place a call to tower on 128.2 when 20 miles out: "Caravan 7BR; with you at four thousand feet." and am responded to by call sign for airspace entry: "CARAVAN Seven Bravo Romeo good morning . Hi Dave I use this gate regularly, and I know that the usual real world route to runway 26L is the shortest way. When I am ready for pushback with permission, I check the route using the taxi button. The map shows a 'nose right' path. It takes the a/c halfway to 8R - an overlong meander. If I take the normal shorter 'nose left' route ATC responses come live again when I get to the 26L access point. Can the EGKK taxi routing be modified?

Hi Dave, I did a flight today between PHNL and PHKO. The active runway was 8R and I was given the MKK4 SID which is basically a vectored right turn to get you out over the ocean past Honolulu. I wasn't given any kind of heading when I was cleared for take off. Should I have been?

Bear with me, still a very inexperienced user of this fantastic software. It's very common in real world airport operations for pilots, upon clearing the runway after touchdown, to request taxi to a specific base operators or agency's ramp. For example, at my "home" airport in the sim, there are a FedEx, Border Patrol, and Million Air ramps. I was trying to use the gate facility in Taxi Mnt to manage this but it appears the names were too complex. If I use gates "FX", "B" and "M" (for example), taxi clearances are given. If I labeled the gates "FedEx", etc. then no clearances were given. Is there a way to accomplish using the more complex name? If not,…

Hi, in upcoming versions, would it be possible : -to have for example the possibility to report some bad weather conditions and /or turbulences ? And that ATC allow us to fly lower or higher. -that ATC ask us to hold at some waypoints during approach ? -that at Departure gate we have to respect some specific engine start time and time to pushback ? After the copilot changes frequency and makes a contact call the ATC doesn't respond unless I manually repeat the same contact call. I think there was a similar problem in one of the previous version?

I am guessing that the problem with the Ceroproc voices has still not been resolved, or Dave would have posted. I bought 3 voices in the end of year sale, and have waited along with others for the fix from Ceroproc. a couple of months ago I emailed them again telling them if they don't bring out the promised update, I was going to claim my money back via my card provider as the are 'not fit for purpose' Apart from telling me the problem will be fixed in the next update, they then did not reply to follow up emails. Hi, whenever I press a button on the pilot2atc autopilot window using xplane 11 the screen jumps back to the pilot2atc main screen. I have the OnTop button green but it jumps out of the program when I press VS, ALT, NAV, etc. What am I missing?

Hello, for some reason I'm not getting any response from the ATC. Also during startup I get following error : Which is odd because as you can see I in fact do have English installed and set as default (I have my native language pack installed as well but that should not be a problem since it's not default, right? ) : But for some reason I do not get any response from the ATC at all. I'm using the text "SayIt" interface as I don't have mic setup, plus I don't really want to be talking to my computer, text interface is fine :-) Also the test in config does not work. Hey guys, hi David, I just encounter this issue now again every time since installing the latest version. I get taxi instructions on EDDH, but once I reached hold short of runway - no handover to tower and after requesting changes to tower, no clearance for take off. I imported scenery into P2ATC (Payware EDDH new version from x.org store). It's not that funny, as flight preparation and so take a lot of time, so I don't want to waste my time. X-Plane 11.05 / Win 10 64bit / i7 4770 / MSI 1070 / 32GB RAM. Thanks for any tips. Cheers, Michael

Hey Dave, On the ATC Sounds config page, at the bottom, you have the area where you can add radio background static. I assume this is suppose to mix your WAV file of static with the TTS voices coming out of your headset during transmissions? I have your radio-static.wav file loaded but when I do radio check calls the static wav doesn't play with the TTS controller talking to me. I tried with Cerproc, Ivona 2 and Microsoft voices and can't get the static to play. Is this what this feature was designed to do? Did I miss a step? I read through the manual and the instructions look pretty straight forward.
