I just purchased Pilot2ATC. I have two monitors and when I open Pilot2ATC and place it on the second monitor, it seems to work fine. This is without the sim (P3Dv4) running. When I start the sim and connect Pilot2ATC the main Pilot2ATC screen goes blank (The map and flight Plan ) when I click on it, say to move the map. The main Pilot2ATC screen does the same thing if I click on the sim screen or my internet browser for that matter. I think that this is a Windows 10 problem but I can run LittleNavMap on the second monitor without this problem. I just found that if I click on the blank screen area of the other monitor, it does the same thing. I had never seen this …

Cheers all. I am having an annoying issue regarding sound volume for P2ATC. When flying the volume mixer (Win10) then periodically is lowering volume for Pilt2ATC to about 10%. It is real annoying not only to miss the ATC instruction, but I also have to call up the volume mixer to raise the volume slider to 100%. I am using Pilot2ATC with Xplane 11.05 while flying the Zibo B737 mod. Does anyone know what is causing this ? Regards Carsten (Denmark)

Hi, I'm running Windoze 10 and recently upgraded to the latest version of Pilot2ATC. Love the product and can't wait for WT3 integration! But since the upgrade I've had an odd problem. Pilot2Atc seems to randomly minimize itself to the taskbar and won't resize back again. Trying to restore via the taskbar icon just shows the message that P2Atc is already running...which it is...clearly can be seen in the task manager and the only solution I have found is to kill the process there and relaunch P2AtC. Seems to happen fairly frequently and is somewhat annoying. I did not see this behavior in previous versions over the past 6 months or so. Also , seems to usuall…

Hello folks, I am looking for some help re contacting ground/clearance frequencies to request clearance. I believe everything is correctly set up, however I just get no response no matter what I try. I have tried different locations and aircraft as well as various frequencies at the airports in question, but no reply. I have read through the various manuals and what I could fin on the forums, however I am at a loss on what to do next. I am on the most recent version of Pilot2ATC 2.3.1.1 and using XP 11.10b5. Now I didn't try it in previous versions of XP so not sure if this is the issue or not. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help greatly appreciated.…

Atis is giving me a Arr/Dep rwy and the info box located at the top of the map display is giving me a different rwy? What am I doing wrong? BTW, I am really sorry if this topic was adressed before, I made a search and did not find anything.

this is what happened to me after a more than 5h long flight from Alaska to Hawai, with less than 4tons of fuel on board, lol never ever i received approach guidance (descent) as i was getting past the 'green arrow' (TOD), the ATC made me change from center, to tower then to Honolulu approach, within less than 50nm of the destination airport, the atc kept barking at me to keep 'FL360'.. , i even tried to 'request' radar vectors for ils, nothing.. i had to turn off P2ATC and keep doing my approach manually

hi Dave, i would like to know how to make appear the standard Windows Speech Training screen . In page 66 of the guide, it says "To begin training on one of the standard scripts, select the controller you want and press the Train button. The following screen will appear: " but nothing appears . could you check that for me ? i've just purchased a key and the version is 2.3.1.1 . Another question : do you plan to improve the sayit+ window in a future update ,to make it more practicable for a newbie like me ? Thanks

Hi Dave, I am using P2A with both P3D v4.1 and X-Plane 11. I have Flight1 Ultimate Live Traffic for P3D v4.1 and World Traffic 3 for X-Plane 11. Using P3D v4.1, P2A displays all of the AI on the map but when I use P2A with X-Plane, it do not see any AI traffic on the map, even though there is plenty. The WT3 radar also shows all of the AI aircraft. Please could you tell me if I need to turn something else on to make P2A show the AI traffic when using X-Plane 11. BTW - I am using P2A on a second PC using a networked configuration. Kind Regards, Ted.

hi since i got Pilot2ATC i have been exclusively and only flying the FF 320A beta in Xplane v11, since it's private/public release, i did a good dozen of flights learning to use P2ATC, and 'everything' worked almost 'hick ups'-free; and the application is sufficiently intuitive for self learning, the only thing i have noticed is the altimeter (the red numbers on the top row) always remains stuck to standard 29.92 despite i was setting it on the aircraft as instructed by atc, it did still remain STD in P2ATC. hi i have experienced this bug during approach to CZST , when i have requested for radar vectors to the visual straight in at CZST, the atc did not respond and a few seconds later, this error message has popped up: the ATC remained silent after this.. :( this similar bug happens for the second time on me. you may notice that my flight would seem a bit bizarre, (ie: why DELTA would fly an airbus A320 from KGEG to CZST ?), the thing is, since we are simmers and because of that, i prefer to fly something else, more challenging and out of the ordinary. no matters what is the situation, the ATC must work.

Hi Dave, Looks like there is something wrong with the altitude clearances since the last version. I'm taking off from LPFR and it tells me to climb to FL150, 20 seconds later to descend to FL50, seconds later to climb to FL160, seconds later to expedite descent to FL150, all this in the same minute. I usually do this flight and this never happened before. It happened in the last 2 flights. I had to lower the ATC volume because I couldn't stand it anymore. What's going on? Thanks.

Everything seems to work fine except PTT. I am mid-flight with ATC, all is good. Needed to change from FL340 to FL350...and...cannot do. Say It is working fine but wont say it for FL change, Co-pilot interacts with ATC fine on everything else. Microphone is working. Did I miss something or is it a bug? P2A 2.3.0.1. Thnx. Cheers.

Hi Dave, Since the introduction of Navigraph data, it's no longer possible to change com frequencies of an airport. Now I have the following problem: Navigraph uses the new frequencies with 8.33 kHz spacing, but FSX and P3D can handle only 25 kHz spacing. So in my (hardware) cockpit I can only dial the 25kHz spaced frequencies. I can set the 8.33 spaced frequencies in P2A, but that is outside my cockpit on a networked PC and it's not realistic for me. Of course P3D should update it's software, but that's not the case at the moment. It would be a great help if I could manually change the com frequencies of an airport, just like I can with taxiways and gates. I don't t…

I've tried this flight 3 times and it's gone wrong every time. KPVD - KJFK Route is: KPVD SEY ROBAR2 KJFK The ROBAR2 STAR ends at the KJFK VOR. When I get close to the KJFK VOR the program gives me vectors that take me out over the water. It then tells me to turn to 285 to intercept the ILS for runway 31R at KJFK, but the vectors will never intercept the ILS. It's WAY off. Thanks.

It doesn't happen that often, but sometimes I get stuck in a loop during taxi where Ground tells me to contact Tower, but then when I contact Tower they tell me to go back to ground for taxi instructions. I suspect this isn't a bug perse, more likely bad data related to the taxiway. I have watched the videos on how to load and manually correct taxiway data, etc. Maybe if this was a problem at my home airport or something, I might take the time to do that, but I fly in and out of a different airport just about every time I fly. Is there anyway to break this loop so I can just continue my flight?

The last two day the TERPS selection won't load a approach plate. I get a PDF symbol though. The other thing is that when I right click the mouse on any screen (I have two monitors, one for P2ATC and one for the sim.) P2ATC minimizes. I don't have a joystick button or a key selected for this and in Minimize Setup the Minimize to Task Bar and the Enable selections are not checked. Minor problem actually but I wouldn't mind correcting them. Bill

X Plane 11.10r5 seems to have broken the auto function, i.e Vs and ALT functions, they worked fine in 11.05 so I guess its a bug from LR. Anyone else seen this?

Hi Dave, The problem is this: I'm on X-Plane 11 and if I open Pilot2ATC before loading the flight I can't turn on the RealityXP GTN 750 units i have on the default Cessna 172 panel when starting cold and dark. Sometimes I can turn one on, sometimes the other, but most times I can't turn on any of them. If I close Pilot2ATC and restart the sim I can turn both on without a problem. It may have something to do with the "Ignore Avionics Switch" and the "Ignore Battery Switch" (I use both enabled) but I'm not sure. I tried with them disabled and enabled and sometimes (randomly) one of the GTN's turns on, but never both. What may be causing this issue? Regards

Is there any way I can get Pilot2ATC to remember which monitor (and preferably position and size also) I want it to start on. It's quite an annoyance having to move and position it from my 4K monitor(1) to my 2K monitor(2) every time I load it. I can't find a setting for this or a registry setting. If this is not possible, I'd beg for it to be added to the next update. :-)

When I start descent at TOD the ATC constantly tells me to climb back to previous altitude, ie climb and maintain flight level 150. If I do this I miss the landing by a country mile, any help?
