Hi I seem to have a problem. After I hit connect the map stays centred on the ocean Also can’t generate flight plans I’ve tried several things including reinstalling xpuip Nothing changes. Tried several airports. YPAD YMML. Still the same Don’t know what to do? also cant attach photo. But it only shows a plane located in the atlantic ocean

P2ATC is all FOWLED up. I started out last year with P2A_2218, updated to 2300 with Nav1701, updated to 2311 and then to 2.4.0.1_x64 with no problems. Well, the same as everyone else that reported bugs. I didn't do any more updates until a few days ago when I added Version 2.4.0.5_x64 update. All the Config info that was forwarded from one update to the next is gone. The serial number and code is still there but no connection to voices or any other of the original info I added to config is there. All the paths are empty. Somehow I can still get IFR clearance somehow but after takeoff it directs me to switch to ATC and then ATC proceeds to rattle of every atc number in th…

Sorry for the stupid question. How do I upgrade from v2.3? just install it over that version, or a full uninstall and install?

Hi again, trying this out and noticed that the airport map for KIAD doesn't show any taxi paths to runway 19R. I did see however, a whole bunch of crossing green lines all over the terminals.. ATC told me to taxi to 19R via taxi ways that I don't see. I'm using Flightbeam scenery. Am I suppose to create my own taxi routes? Thanks Bill

Hi, thinking of purchasing this and have been playing with the trial for a few days with P3D. I have a few questions I hope somebody will be kind enough to answer: I took off in the Majestic Q400 and realized I left the gear pins and thus landing gear wouldn't retract. Is there a "declare an emergency" option where ATC will give me procedures to return to airport? If not, what is the procedure to get ATC to stop telling me to continue on my planned route and vector me back to airport for landing? Also I noticed that after ATC gave me taxi instructions, I repeated them but ATC did not say read back correct, instead it repeated the taxi instructions. I then…

Hello Dave, I've a question about the trigger point which is used to switch to the tower frequency. I'm trying to change a taxi route, again at EHAM. But this time for runway 36C. I imported the taxiways for EHAM, I use the Flytampa airport. When I press the RouteToRunway button in the Gate and Taxiway Maintenance dialog, I get a route I don't want to take, I want to take the lowest entry point. There are no hold short points and there is a break in the route. So I added a hold short point and closed the taxi route, I also added a taxi point which is close to the runway start. Since installing the new version with the altered export plan function, my X Plane 11 fms plans are not readable using the RWDesign A330-300. The plan shows in the FMC but loading only produces a plan with the start and destination waypoints, the airports with Direct in between. Any ideas?

I have recently worked through some of the tutorial flights which date back to 2014. They are detailed and no doubt most excellent but no longer accurate in relation to Version 2 seemingly both in how the interface looks and behaves. I wonder Dave if it would be possible to request updated versions of the test flights tutorials for version 2 of P2ATC? As an example some of the instruction or guidance when followed results in weird results, for example filing the flight plan results in inclusion of many vors when trying to do this as an IFR flight plan. I am running FSX DVD version with accelerator on Windows 10, with 8 Mbytes of RAM, an Intel i7-4770K processor at a speed of 3.5, and an NVidia Geforce GTX 780 card. I am trialling the latest verson of Pilot2ATC in 64 bit, and am so far very impressed. I have had a couple of FSX crashes with out of memory error messages however, which I have never had prior to using Pilot2ATC. I have reduced taxi and autogen density and my current flight is so far stable. I am monitoring VAS through FSUIPC and although it has steadily fallen, it is now hovering around a figure of 1220000. I have been having some minor issues with take off and landing at KSEA. On Take off primarily on 16L, If there is an AI on approach on 16C ATC will have me hold short until that aircraft has landed. On Landing on 16R, If there is AI on 16C ATC will give go around instructions thinking it is on my runway. Also after landing on 16R and I request Taxi instructions ground will give me hold short 16R, 16C, and 16L. I can't hold short 16R when I have just left it. Minor issues but ... Thanks James

Some news from REX for upcoming hotfix2 "Fix support of Pilot2Atc flight plan import into Sky Force" Good news. I also have a topic in about metar files for P2A. Haven't heard back yet.

Any Idea as to where I can find the metar file for the new REX Sky Force weather engine? There is a file in REX Sky Force folder called LocationWeather.xml. Is this the file to use and would I give it the path including the file name in the WX section for REX Weather? In that section it shows as (...\metar_report.xml) as an example. I have REX Essentials + OD also and I cannot even find that file anywhere Thanks James

At Hififo Airport NLWW , there is "NLWW info" Tower frequency (i have checked in WED for Xplane that it's truely a Tower freq to be sure) but no interaction , nor ATC chatter , in p2A . Could Dave check this for me to find the problem please ?

sorry if I'm missing something obvious- I've looked through the user guides and youtube tutorials but I can't find info on how to connect PIlot2ATC to XP11. I have both programs loaded, I have the battery and avionics on in my Carenado C208 but when I click the PWR button in P2ATC, nothing happens and also the connect but doesn't do anything (sometimes I hear a windows alert sound but I can't see a pop-up error message or anything). I'm sure I'm missing somethin obvious... what is it?? thanks in advance

Gentlemen of the forum, can someone help me on this issue I have with pilot2atc. Installed and configured P2A successfully but can't connect to my FSX.When I click the connect button nothing happens as it didn't turn green as expected.Still using the trial version to evaluate before I purchase.Having just 5 days more of trial left.

For some reason, everytime after landing, as soon as I clear the runway and make the call to tower that I am clear, there is no answer. I am never told to contact ground, when I do contact ground, I am ignored again. Ground will acknowledge my radio call, but give no direction such as, "taxi to the ramp". This has just started happening on my last 5-10 flights. I am at controlled airports so I'm not sure what is going on. Any suggestions?

I am a World Traffic user and route designer. I make Airport Operations files always for my airports. Quite often, on long flights, by the time I get to the destination the weather has changed and the AI are using the flow profile I programmed file the weather scenario at hand. This quite often ends up being the opposite runway I filed with my flight plan. What is the correct method of requesting a different approach runway? The way suggested in the SayIt prompt didn't do anything. The controller just told me to keep descending via the Star but when he handed me over to approach no runway change was given. They still had me landing opposite way of traffic. …

Hi Dave, I just purchased Rex Sky Force 3D and wondered if you will be making provision in your program to work with it? I did try the standard Rex setting in P2A but that did not recognise the weather from Sky Force 3D. If does already work, then please could you tell me what I must be doing wrong. Thank You, Ted.

Just want to get some opinions. I've been flying FSX for a lot of years. As time goes on better sims come and go on the market. What would some of you recommend to upgrade too that is better than FSX? Or has the potential to be better than FSX? I've researched this subject here and out on the net. Also would like it to work with P2ATC. Or should I stay with FSX for time being? Thanks in advance all your opinions.

Hey Dave - hope all is well. Have a few feature requests for ya if at all possible at some point. I mostly fly in VR now so these could streamline some VR operations for myself and I'm sure others. Is it possible to get a mappable joystick button to enable FO control? This could help handoff and take back the radios from the FO without having to go in to the config page. Is it possible to get a pop out version of the ATC text somehow? VR resolutions aren't quite there yet so it can be tough to read importing the entire P2A window via fly inside. The zoom feature in FI is nice but I still find I need to enlarge the P2A window beyond being practical in orde…

I am having difficulty in entering text into the call sign box in config. Carefully placing the mouse cursor in the box, which is not easy to see, by the way, there is no consistency in the keyboard entering the text. I try several times with no response and then the letters or numbers suddenly start to appear. I go in and out of config trying several times until I am successful. Hope that makes sense. Briiliant software. For the first time, choice of sids and stars is presented accessibly and logically.

The Option TERPs do not display Chart. This screen remain blank and do not display any chart. In my config panel I selected my pdf chart directory and the screen stay blank. I select a PDF file wirh OPEN option and allway blank screen. I'm I missing something???

Hi, I am trying to fly from PARC Arctic Village AK to CRK1 Kavik Camp AK. X-plane 11.11, flying a twin otter. I see it on the chart. I add it as a destination in the flight plan. I try to add an approach, but there are no procedures. On other airports with no procedures P2A would suggest a straight in approach... instead it just does not let load anything. I can Validate the flight.. but it won't file. I am using Navagraph. It is current (1801). I also have an issue in X-plane where the airport (CRK1) is listed in airports.txt.. but I can't select it in the GPS. Any ideas? Should this be reported to Navagraph? BTW P2A has added a …
