Hi Dave Since updating to v2311 I have been experiencing a few problems at KSTS (I use the ORBX version), particularly when desiring to takeoff from runway 14. I receive taxi instructions from ground to taxi to runway 14 and as i approach the holding point for runway 14 i get handed over to tower as expected. Nonetheless, this is where things get truly interesting. I report that i am ready for departure and tower instructs me to lineup and wait. Alas, that is as far as it goes... I simply dont get takeoff clearance, i just wait and wait and wait... You get the idea (its pretty annoying to say the least). If, while i am lined up and waiting on runway 14 and i report …

Hello Dave 😃 In X-Plane, the airport scenery located in the user "Custom Scenery" folder have priority over the default scenery ("airport.dat" file located here : "\Resources\default scenery\default apt dat\Earth nav data\apt.dat" ) Does P2A take look for the custom scenery located in the user "Custom Scenery" folder of X-Plane when importing gates and taxiway with the "Gate and Taxyway maitenance" tools ?

Good Day Dave, I am having an issue with Terps again. It is displaying "No Charts Found" on Airport diagrams. Not all airports mind you but KATL,KLAX, KDFW are a few that I have found. APPR charts are working fine at all airports. Your thoughts? Thank you for your time!

Hi Dave, Went to go set up a flight today, and the app (2.5.0.2) seems to be locked up. It's 100% reproducible for me at least. I have to kill the app with task manager to restart it. My steps are: 1) Run P2Atc 2) Click add waypoint, enter KLAS 3) Click add waypoint, enter KLAX 4) Click add SID, enter runway 26R, SID Boach8, Transition RICKII. 5) Click load. At this point the SID window closes, but the app is locked up. I am using the latest navigraph airac 1805. Hi Dave, This has been happening in several versions, i think i mentioned it before at some point. I've attached a picture of what i'm talking about. I landed at KROC, and was taxiing from the runway to the gate (gate taxi instructions work now, thanks). Instructions were to taxi and hold short runway 10. The hold short point it showed via the black triangle on the taxi route was on the wrong side of the runway though. For this airport i imported the taxiways and modified them so there are hold short points on both sides of the runway. Attached a link with that picture too. I've noticed a very frustrating problem flying from my 'home' airport of KCMA Camarillo, CA. When I start a flight there and try to talk to Ground, Pilot2ATC selects Clearance/ Delivery, which is listed as the same frequency(121.8) at that airport. (I'm not sure there even is a Clr/Del service there in reality, but I could be wrong). Although the Ground frequency is correct (121.8), the caption below says 'Clearance/ Delivery' and will not change to 'Ground', even when I select Ground as normal from the P2A console and switch, nor when I select it manually, punching in the numbers. Dave, I'm using P2A with P3d. Is it necessary to purchase another copy for XPlane 11? If not how would I go about getting P2A to work with XPlane 11. Thank You Bill McCracken

I really love the product and I use it with "World Traffic 3" to see traffic on the airspace also in TCAS. I heard somewhere before that there are efforts to let your products work together, any update ?

Is there a way to have a pilot2ATC not vector me off course so that I can fly the full flight plan. I had an issue yesterday where I was at 36,000 feet I just started to descend and pilot2ATC vectored me into one straight-line to the approach taking me off course of the flight plan that would have allowed me to get down to 4000 feet where I needed to be needless to say I could not make it to 4000 feet with the straight-line.

Hi- I fly the Flysimware Lear 35. I have the XP GTN750 in there tho'. Is an FMC required to import flight plans into, or can your app read from the GTN? Thanks, Mark

Hello guys, I just purchased pilot2atc and I probably should have tried it a bit longer except than testing if it ran and if it recognized my voice, but I did buy it and love the program...... Now I am having some issues though, first off.... I use prepar3d with both nl2000 scenery and the flytampa amsterdam schiphol airport scenery. When I request to taxi to the active runway, pilot2atc send me there, but schiphol is a big airport, so when taxiing I come across other planes on my taxiway, just taxiing in the oposite direction, so half the time I have to go into the grass to let them pass. Hi Dave, Just flew from KLGA to KROC with p2atc 2.5.0.1 and x-plane 11.20r2 beta. When i got on the ground, the copilot correctly switched to the ground frequency after prompted to by atc. I then requested taxi to gate alpha 6 and it came back with, sorry no gates available at this airport. So then i said, request taxi to gate alpha 4, and got the same response. So then i used the say it, to 'request taxi to the gate' after I selected gate A4 in the info window in the runways/gates tab. That time it responded with taxi to gate alpha 4...but it did not generate any taxi lines or give me any taxi route instructions. I've pasted in the the relevant log e…

With an approach in Lugano LSZA I have the choice between RW01 and RW19. No matter what I choose, P2ATC always chooses only the RW19, even though I chose RW01. Is this a Navdata or P2ATC error?

Can anyone advise how to get around this problem. I'm flying a short flight between Luton EGGW and Bristol EGGD, only 114 miles. The departure is runway 26 then SID CPT3B with an altitude restriction for CPT AT 5000' Arrival at Bristol is STAR BRI1C runway 27 with FL220 at CPT for flight planning purposes. The SID and STAR both use CPT but at different altitudes 5000' and 22000' Problem is Pilot 2ATC recognises the FL220 restriction and doesn't allow me to set a Cruise level lower, my preferred is under 10000'

I am trying to install Pilot2ATC on a new computer (clean version of Windows 10). Initially tried version 2.2.1.6 then 2.2.1.7, both versions had the same problem. After installing, a message appeared saying something about 'faulty installation package'. It then tried to load P2A but the loading screen only went up to 10% then a fault window appeared saying Database Error Unable to initialize Database - The underlying provider failed to open. I purchased P2ATC in October 2016, and thought highly of the programme. When the 64 bit version came out, I downloaded and installed using, as I was advised to do, my existing registration. 2 days ago I downloaded the full version of the most recent update 2.5 and over wrote the old 2.4 vesion I had. When the program automatically started it asked me for the registration key, which I copied and pasted in. I got the message back that it is not allowed on 2 computers and it failed to start. I have never had it on another computer. I then went in to the 32 bit folder and started it, only to find that I got the same message. 72 hours ago, P2ATC 64bit was working fine for me. …

Hi Dave, I edited some center names and I may have broken something. Is there a way to reset to the default state without breaking the Taxi maintenance for my airports? What is happening is that I renamed all Swiss sectors (Zurich, etc.) with "Switzerland". I know that I dragged and droped some labels by mistake, but I think I put them back at their place. But now, when I'm going south from Geneva via a MEDAM SID, I'm asked (correctly) to contact Marseille control. A few questions and issues - they may/may not be be related: Does P2A generate it owns ATIS or it supplied by either P3D or a weather engine (ie Active Sky Next)? How does (if at all) ticking the voice box in the P3D Sound Settings page impact P2A? Best I can determine if it is unchecked you do not hear the ATIS when you are on the ATIS frequency. Issues: ATIS - from a previous post there is not to be any chatter on the ATIS frequency - but I do hear a faint ATC chatter during ATIS. Hey Dave, Just a suggested added feature if it's not that complicated :-) I'm just looking at all that empty space in the RHS Column under the Config button thinking how lovely if would be if we could configure our sim locations in config and (if populated) have launch buttons appear for P3D4, X-Plane etc. Still lovin' Pilot2ATC. Updated to 2501. Load a flight plan from PFPX. Connect to FS - power button is green - reads that sim is connected and recognition engine installed - grammars loaded. File flight plan. I wasn't hearing chatter so I disconnect and reconnect - power button is green - reads that sim is connected and recognition engine installed - grammars loaded. But then PATC disconnects - power button turns red. After that I can't get PATC to connect w/ FS. I tried restarting P3D and even reloaded 2501. I also rolled back to the 2500 update w/ same results. Per the manual it appears a full removal/reinstall wouldn't help. Thanks.

Not a big deal, but I hear faint chatter in the background of the ATIS frequency. Is there a way to cancel?

Funny one tonight. On second flight, whilst int he cruise at FL100, the map turned off. Big white square where the map is., with a big red cross though it. I noticed later that the PWR LED at the bottom left also went to red. ATC still continued to advise me and the flight plan segments moved as per normal. Just no map. I tried different map types, Google, Terrain, etc. All the same. The Taxi and Appr buttons on the right were also highlighted, and I had not touched them. Turning them off did nothing. Apart from that, 2 faultless flights.
