Dave, yesterday I did a flight everything went fine for about an hour and 5 minutes then I ran out of memory. So today I decided to monitor my VAS in FSUIPC. I use Voice Attack as a way to set things in the cockpit such as landing gear, flaps, etc. I noticed 2 things. When I set up to monitor VAS on the FS Tile Bar I lost the Voice attack all together. I also lost my copilot in P2ATC totally. I could not transmit myself and contact ground or tower at all. I did still have ATC Chatter. However, when I switched to FS Window to monitor VAS in FSUIPC everything worked as advertised. I don't particularly care for the green stripe across the screen but at least I could…

Hi Dave, I'm using the latest version and I cannot complete a flight because of application freezing. I don't use any other 4th, 5th windows voice refer to My flight plan is from ZSSS to ZSHC, everytime before arriving the TOC, the P2A application get freezing and shows the blue circle (windows mouse cursor) and stop to output logs. Hi Dave, all, I have just been reading on the WT forum that the developer contact you (Dave) months ago, and stated that WT 3.1 may well have full P2ATC support! Are you able to elaborate on this any further given the initial comment was made many months ago? :) - Has there been more talk about it since then? I started this evening reading about Pilot2ATC, then saw the proposed integration, almost decided to buy your program on the spot!, I'm going to try the demo this week I think and will purchase once WT integration is solidly confirmed, OR once I see how good it is lol ;) Thanks for your time Dave

Hi Dave, Just a thought that a nice feature might be to have the ability to add multiple waypoints at once, rather than clicking the +WPT button multiple times. So entering "MLF DTA FFU" in the box would then have P2A parse them as three different waypoints, saving me the trouble of clicking. Not exactly a game-breaking bug or anything, just thought I'd mention it for consideration in a future update. Thanks!

First let me start by saying how brilliant P2A is. I’m a newish simmer and went all in and bought the program. I enjoy flying true to life routes using default 737. The biggest issue is the SID’s and STAR’s are outdated so I purchased the latest AIRAC cycle and made sure both the FMC and P2A were in sync. I was really excited to see that the FMC was much more accurate, however it seems that There are discrepancies between xplane and P2A. As an example one of CYYZ STAR, RAGID3, also in FMC, has different waypoints associated with it. Hi. Testing demo version of Pilot2ATC v2.5.0.4_x64_R3 with Navigraph AIRAC cycle 1806 together with X-Plane 11.20 and FF A320. Trying to perform a short flight from LJLJ to LJMB. I used auto plan option to program the route. The problem is tht Program2ATC stops responding shortly after takeof - in two times it stopped responding right after take off, just before before handover message. The third time it stopped right after the handover message. Is there any beta version available to be able to evaluate the program? Thank you.

Some big airports (take KORD for example) have a central terminal structure with two circular one-way taxiways going round them. Is there any way to mark taxiways one-way? Or are you planning to add that feature in at some point?

They are named randomly C, D, M etc. and I think they would only misguide the taxiing instructions...without the extra taxiways, which are not in charts, the airport would look a lot tidier.

Hi all- I just installed P3D 4.3, set pause on lost focus=0 and that no longer works. Selecting anything on the P2ATC window stops the sim. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark

I'm doing a lot of taxiway maintenance now, and slowly getting the hang of it. When fixing Chicago O'Hare (KORD), I noticed that after scenery import in XP11, all taxiways are named with (seemingly random) numbers instead of the letters as they should (I have Navigraph account so have recent chart available as a reference). Has anyone else seen this behaviour? When I come to think of it - can the taxiways even be named with numbers? I'm asking since the airport information charts often show the main taxiways named with letters, but the parking platforms with numbers. Or do I just delete the path ends leading to different platforms? BTW is it possible to share "…

Just out of curiosity, my grandson's like flight sim, but can't hear what is going on while I'm on headset. So my question is, would it be possible to set up my Bose speakers that I use when not on FSX to somehow allow them to hear not only the ATC chatter but my transmissions also. I can't seem to get it set up to do both. I can bring up the ATC chatter on the speakers but then I can't seem to use the headset to communicate while flying. Is this possible? And if it is, how do I set it up. Thanks. Rodger

hi dave and everybody else !!! some time now,i started using vnav on both pmdg 747 and qw 787.but i always have some differences between pilot2atc vnav speeds during sid and starts. for example today the vnav of 787 during sid was having a speed restriction of 250 and pilot2atc , 230. so pilot2atc was complaining to reduce the speed. i suppose both of them take the vnav restriction speeds by the 1807 cycle. why then there is a difference? (of course i can correct it by hand at the fmc of the plane but it takes time 🙂 ) for both of them and pilot2atc and 787 i enter manually the flight plan to be totally sure its exactly the same. in our example when i depart fro…

I've been away for several months and just updated P2ATC to the new version. My P2ATC is on one monitor and FSX-SE is running on another monitor. My question is, is it normal for FSX-SE to pause whenever I go to look at something in P2ATC? For example, I'll go to look up an approach or tower frequency, and while I do FSX-SE pauses until I'm done and I go back to the FSX screen and unpause it. I've scanned the instruction manual but cannot seem to find anything about it. I was watching a video of someone using P2ATC and to appeared that he was working in P2ATC and his flight sim was still working. Just curious. Thanks. Rodger

Hi Dave. Firstly I Just want to congratulate you on an awesome product! I've been reluctant to purchase any ATC product just yet as I always thought they weren't real enough and found with some of the robotic voices and procedures it took a lot away from the realism and immersion factor. But it was something I needed that my sim was lacking. I am enjoying P2A and only wish I had tried this earlier. Dave, 2.5.0.4 has SO MANY improvements. - I don't know what you did, but the performance is sooooo much better in this version. 2.5.0.3 was really slow, laggy, and a pain to get things done quickly. Zooming in and out is like lightening fast now. - The taxi-way mnt stuff works great now - The ability to force set the runway now for airports that have no sid/star is awesome. (I assume this is new and i have not just ever seen it before in the sid/star windows, lol) - I was having all sorts of problems entering in a route from KORD (which has no SIDs) to KROC which has no STARs in 2.5.0.3, it was almost impossible to make a fligh…

Ok, so I create a flight plan in P2ATC and then export it in .fms format to xplane11/output/fmsplans. This part seems to work fine. Then I start XP11 and the Zibo 738 and enter the DEPDEST. into the coroute section of the FMC. The plan supposedly loads and I click activate. Then I go to the legs page and there is nothing there, nothing at all. If I use PFPX to plan my flight it saves in the same output/fmsplans folder and works fine. Are the flight plans created using P2ATC not compatible with the Zibo for some reason or am I missing something? At this point I have to create a plan in PFPX, import that plan into P2ATC, add SID/STARS, and then NOT export into XP11 f…

Without any warning, these settings have disappeared. Apart from a failed Widows 10 update, I cannot think what could have caused this. My efforts to reset are met with nothing being recognised, so the drop downs offer nothing. Oddly, when I set up a flight there is interaction, including my calls and the co-pilots read backs - and on into the flight. This is happening despite there being no voices showing in the config. They are my old settings. It was because I wanted to change some voices that I noticed there were no details in the config. I have version 2503_x64 installed. Should I uninstall and start again?

Hi there Flying ORBX New Zealand north island at the moment. P2A doesn't find any FSS for the region. Hi Dave, When flying my last couple flights, the weather at the arrival airport has change, specifically the wind direction. If I click on the P2A WX button it correctly provides the new wind direction and speed. However, ATC still takes me into the original approach runway based on the weather it used when filing the flight plan. Is it possible to manually get P2A to change the approach runway to match wind direction, or is there something that I have not set, which would make it automatically do this. If this is in your manual, then I have missed it as I did try and look for this type of setting before asking yourself. Kind Regards, Ted.

For those users (like me) that have difficulty with volume control from various sources in Windows 10. Ear Trumpet is a free app on the Microsoft Store that replaces the default speaker settings with its own take. After install hide the normal speaker icon and add the new ear trumpet icon to the task bar. It may prove useful. Cheers,
