I am running X-PLane 11 and the 10 day P2A trial. Everything was working yesterday, but tonight I was unable to change the COM frequency. Clicking in the NAV area brings up the 'change NAV frequency' dialog, but not for the COM radio. I have tried clicking everywhere but to no avail. I can click and switch between the active and standby frequencies, but can not get the COM frequency dialog to appear. I was also having trouble getting the SayIt dropdowns to open. I tried selecting "Always On Top" and that fixed the dropdown problem, but I still can not active the COM frequency dialog. hi everybody, i dont know if it exists (i searched but didn't found it-bad me if it exists), a sticky topic about real life atc procedures we should follow on pilot2atc to make the flight as realistic as possible. i will give an example and if dave or somebody else who is responsible and know how to use the forum, can make it sticky. when i start a flight i do this on pilot2atc: 1. i connect to atis and listen the atis transmission. then based to active departure runway i make my ifr plan (without choosing arrival star and approach) and fix the altimeter 2. request clearence on my ifr plan and get the squawk code 3. request pushback and engine start …

Hi- I had something happen last night regarding prevailing wind at KLAS (259@7kt, seen both in METAR and AS). PATC assigned me to 19L. AI ac are also coming from the opposite direction. Now, is there an order in which wind is read as P3D or PATC open, or...I'm not sure exactly what I'm asking here but it looks like PATC is not getting the correct information at the correct time. I think I have an issue with P2A latest version not knowing what the center frequencies and names are for my part of the world Australia-New Zealand. If you look at the image below, P2A doesn't show the names or frequencies for any areas in southern latitudes only the boundaries: P2A ARTCC display Question: What do I need to do to add this data? I already imported the P3D BGL database and it made no difference. I would like Pilot2ATC to list the center frequencies and boundary names for Australia/NZ which it currently does not. Hi Dave, I've been flying Xplane in VR and am returning to your program after a while away. I have started using the RealityXP GTN 750 and 650. Since ATC wants a filed flightplan for IFR, I have been using your program to create those. But when I go to export, all I get when I load the GTN750 is the departure and arrival airports - none of the intermediate waypoints and none of the SIDs or STARs. The GTN is an autopilot more than anything else and if I can't use it to follow the plan then I have to go back to the Laminar built in GPS, which is too small to read in VR. The GTN has a database which is not current with the AIRACs and so some waypoints will not appear on…

I just installed the program last night, and I already have my first question: When Pilot to ATC is open, it takes up a lot of the screen. It also seems to disable certain functions on my keyboard. When it is open, I cannot use keyboard shortcut keys like "c" for free view and "b" for brakes. When I minimize Pilot2ATC, these functions work again. How do you manage this? Is there a shortcut to min / max the screen or disable / enable ATC on the fly? Do you keep the program screen open through the whole flight?

Hello From the beginning I use Pilot2Atc, I do a Taxi Mnt import taxiways and import gates for the airports that I use, this allows to realign the taxiways. Since a few days, when I run the import taxiways, all the taxiways disappear, there are only the gates that remain. I use the MakeRwys program, but I am a little lost in the way of using it. Has anyone ever had this problem? Could you help me please? (I followed the indications of the guide P121; 122; 123 ...) Thank you. Regards. Vincent

Great software well done. I have been a long time PF3 user but the voice recognition integrated with MCE is less than optimal for me even though a lot of work has been put into it. I found Pilot2ATC recognition working better integrated with MCE. More variety of ATC situations especially for VFR. Am looking forward to using it as an advanced tool for IFR as well and it looks to be a great way to learn about SIDS and STARS. Happy with the purchase although it is expensive in my currency had a great flight with it yesterday. The background chatter option really adds to it as well. The computer voices are getting better and natural enough with static mixed in. Kudos for the …

Hi Just playing with the demo. 1. Does it have a feature where there is a co pilot to switch the radios for you so that I can concentrate on speaking to the ATC? 2. Also, do you need to file a flight plan for VFR or can you just take off after clearance and fly to another airport and then tune into the new airport's approach freq? Thanks John

Hi All, i just have Pilot2ATC for a few days and wanted to ad more free voices to use for the controlers. Sofar i found 6 voices (Windows 10) that showup in Pilot2ATC by just adding more languages tru the Windows 10 menu Region's & Language. English (United States) gave me the voices: Zira & David. English (United Kingdom) - voice: Hazel Italiano (Italia) - voice: Elsa Francais (France) - voice: Hortense Deutch (Germany) - voice: Hedda Don't worry that some voices are not english, they will just speak english with a accent (great for Europe flying) Hope this helps for people that like to have more free voi…

All is ready in P3D4 on client, and AS16 & P2A are running on server. Jetmax737 has been installed by Sim-Avionics. ATIS information includes QNH. On the PFD, the yellow marker shows above or below the default 1013 (29.92) if the announced pressure is different. It aligns when the ATIS announced pressure has been set by the ECU. Occasionally the entry on the top line of P2A Control Panel matches, but mostly it does not. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? Other detail along that line changes to match settings.

Hi Guys, would love if someone can assist me with the installation of Pilot2ATC for xplane 11. I have followed the installation guidelines in the manual, and everything has installed perfectly. As soon as you startup Pilot2ATC it gets to +- 5% loading, and after 5minutes or so gives a long complex error message regarding the programing Unable to initialize Database, with various sql errors. Do I need to install any sql server products et cetera for Pilot2Atc to run, or am I missing something ? Please help.

hi (again), since yesterday i started using the pmdg 747 v3 in cold and dark mode. but i cant make pilot2atc connect right to it. the problem is with the frequencies of the radio. i connect to the simulator, i see my plane on the map in the right position, when i go to nearby freqs page, i see them right but when i click on one, in the stby freq i get a number which is not right. for example in lgsa airport, the atis freq is 130.17 and i get 136.975. the same happens with the gnd the twr etc. i always get 136.975. when i use the plane in the default mode, ready to take off, everything is working right. i also tried to put the freqs inside the plane, i see …

Hi- Starting my first flight this morning KLAS > KSFO Selected ATC assigns SID/STAR/Approach Actual winds at SFO are 280@4 PATC assigns runway 19 AS is running prior to auto generation so I'm assuming it's looking at the weather snapshot prior to generating the plan. Is this normal? Thanks, Mark

hi everybody, since yesterday the ter map mode does not work for me. all the other modes are working fine, zooming, unzooming etc. when i press ter mode, i just see a white page and sometimes i get the msg exception the operation has timed out. this also results when i choose sids/starts/app not to be able to see the map. just the exception message. any workaround in that? thank you

Hi- I'm getting underway this weekend with P2ATC. I have a multi monitor setup where I can run the full PATC window on one screen and P3D on the other. The problem is when I click on the PATC window, it pauses P3D. Is there a way around this? Mark

Hello, Since some flights, I've a problèm with Pilot2Atc sound, I don't hear any more or very indistincly differents contrôls. The problem is not clear, sometime the sound come back then, he disappear again. I think that occur since a important Windows 10 update. Yesterday I had a blockage on P2A that I have not seen before. It said "CAUTION: Winds out of limits for Current Aircraft". It was in red. I only ever use Jetmax737, and was preparing to take off from EGKK. I could not connect with ATC. What can I do to avoid that? I use real weather (AS4) and it is identified by P2A.

hi, this is my 1st day after i bought pilot2atc and in general i could say that im happy 🙂 i am from crete, in greece and i made a test vfr flight, with simple fsx cessna from LGSA (chania) airport to LGIR (iraklion) my questions are these: 1. i filed a very simple flight plan, vfr, lgsa departure, lgir arrival. i press validate, it greened, then i pressed filed, it greened also. but after some seconds they turned both back to white. is it normal? 2. i made a gate to gate flight (or wanted to). from lgsa, i didnt have any problem: i conctated the right freqs, i got airway to depart, clearences etc etc. (no question here). 3. when i was close to lgir, …

Perhaps I'm trying to do something P2A wasn't designed for. I'm starting FSX SE and not loading any flight plan. Starting at KDEN, P2A connected. Check ATIS then contact ground and request taxi to runway 34L. Contact tower request departure but do not request remain in pattern. After takeoff request frequency change to approach. Request radar vectors ILS runway 34L. Start getting errors popping up behind my FSX screen stating it cannot calculate TOD. Is there any way to turn this off, or some other way to fly instrument patterns at an airport?

This is not a facility I've seen before. * Adds Hot Key to open SayIt Plus window I'll try it later, but meanwhile it would be interesting to know whether it is useful to me so I can adjust my WideFS ButtonScreen and FSUIPC5 INI settings so I can use it from inside the cockpit. I love the program... Would it be possible to add a small 1 second pause sometimes between commands ? A specific one would be at clearance, between departure frequency and squawk code please ? Thanks
