Hi Simmer, I just bought Pilot2atc a month ago and I would like to modify some airport taxiways with Taxi Mnt tool. Can someone tell me where I can find a detailed information about the link relation with each other. I would like to figure out why a gate is connected to a taxiway or runway!!! What is the logic with theses links. The information found in the user guide or on the internet on this subject is no enough detailed. A better detailed information would be appreciate. I actually a issues where I put a hold_Short on taxiway that is not recognize by Pilot2atc. Thanks! Mike

Is there the facility to print out a flight plan created with autoplan? This is not important I am just curious to know if it is possible.

This is strange - when using PFPX and importing a flight plan I get different SIDS/STARS. For example, out of JFK PFPX will use SID GREKI5 - P2ATC will use GREKI4. Landing at KLAX - PFPX will use BIGBR2 and P2ATC will use BIGBR2. At first I assumed I had old data in P2ATC - but I have used the Navigraph FMS Data Manager and it shows that both PFPX and P2ATC are on 1803 rev1. Any help would be appreciated. THanks. Chuck

I have a full B738 cockpit, and have P3D4 scenery on a 220 degree FOV curved screen using 3 projectors. For ATC I currently use ProATC/X (and previously Radar Contact), and I am reasonalby happy with it. But both of those programs are very much menu-oriented, using assigned keypresses only. I have in the past tried to use one of those programs which can recognise speed and provide a keypress in return, but these are really not good when the menus are not always the same. They cannot be without making the menus extremely large to cope with all circumstances having unique selection. I keep reading good things about Pilot2ATC and studying the documentation it …

Hi I have selected the option "Calculate Safe Enroute altitude". In flightplan I have to enter the altitude manually anyway? Or do I misunderstand this function? I like to fly in the mountains. I thought Pilot2ATC would consider the mountain heights automatically when approaching LOWI Innsbruck (for example). Regards, Marcel

I'm wondering if it's possible to do the following with the latest version: Scenario: In some time after departure you get an aircraft failure. You want to enter a hold to work out the relevant checklists. Is it possible to request ATC to enter such a hold? Next, while still in the hold (or maybe during a flight - doesn't matter), you decide that you need to return to the departure airport. No need for declaring emergency. Is it possible?

Greetings, I'm evaluating Pilot2ATC and generally am impressed by it, but I'm having problems with the approach functionality. As background, I live in Alaska and do a majority of my virtual flying in the state as well. I realize this is probably a different sort of instrument environment than the typical Pilot2ATC use case. Before testing, I updated the nav data in Pilot2ATC to Navigraph AIRAC cycle 1802 using the Navigraph FMS Data Manager. For my first flight, I tried an IFR trip from Fairbanks (PAFA) to Nome (PAOM). Pilot2ATC is working very well however my main problem is I don't know what the process is 1) call for clearance, 2) call for taxi, 3)?????? Even though I try to use the grammar help, I just can't find what my next step is and then if I start my flight and am out of sequence, ATC won't follow me and give me directions. There's a sort of step by step on page 110 of the manual, but is there any where that may have the steps needed from start to end?

Hello everybody I am an X-Plane 11 user. I just test A2P. The first flight plan is created and exported for FF A320. But the flight plan is not displayed in Company Route. The following error message is displayed in the MCDU: NOT IN DATA BASE. What can I do? Here’s the route: RTE LFMNLEPA LFMN 04L LONS6A LONSU DCT LONSU DCT LORES LORE1P LORES LEPA CI20 FL260 It also does not work if I leave the route alone in corte.in. I am looking forward to a solution. Hi Dave, A question about taxiway maintenance. I imported the taxiway and gate info from XP11, for a few airports, one of which is KLAS. The routes were all correct, but there were no hold short points. So, my question/issue is what points should be setup as hold short points. So, obviously, the taxi points at the hold short lines to the beginning of a runway should be marked as hold_short. But I also figured that the taxi points at the hold short lines for runway crossings should also be marked as hold_short. Is that a correct assumption? I'm not sure if p2atc automatically detects runway crossing and puts in it's own hold short points for the taxi …

Think the program has great potential, but struggling a bit with ATC picking runways not consistent with ATIS, but more importantly, selecting runways that don't "fit" the aircraft. Basically, I'm being asked to land or takeoff in an A320 on runways that are no more than 6000' long (and that's a best case scenario) while other, longer, runways are available. Any thoughts of selecting the ICAO of the aircraft to better determine takeoff / arrival runways? Thanks!

Hi I'm using the demo version of P2ATC with p3d 4.2. I landed at KMIA and requested taxi to the gate. I was assigned D25 (I'm was flying an AA livery) however that gate was already assigned (according to GSX). I tried to "request taxi to gate D26" (which was free/unoccupied), however P2ATC kept assigning me to D25. Question, does P2ATC take into consideration AI traffic at the gates when determining availability? How do you request taxi to a specific gate or to change the assigned gate?

HI all, I've been having trouble with FSX loading very slowly. I've done a lot of searching here, AVSIM, and on the internet on the problem. The only one that sounds logical is doing a fresh FSX Install. The individual said it shortened his load time from 5 minutes down to 75 secs. I know this is probably not the place ask this question but wanted to try it anyway. If I did do a reinstall how difficult is it to do? Thanks in advance. Harry

Currently trying P2A in the 10 day evaluation period and am liking what I am seeing so far. I have run into a problem where all of the setting in the P2A config tab have completely cleared themselves. For example all of the figures from the ATC settings tab have disappeared except for altitude change lead time and frequency change time options. In the speech tab there is now no option to select a speech output device and the three other options on that tab are all set to zero. On the AI Traffic tab all the boxes are cleared. I also set up the weather tab to use Active Sky as the weather source and that has cleared it's settings as well. Anyhow, I think you get…

Hello, I have a problem with speech recognition. I use a headset with USB connection exclusively for the language. Playback is via the normal sound card / loudspeaker. But when I start Pilot2ATC no speech output is detected in Grammar Helper. But if I change the sound output of my sound card to the headset in the Windows sound settings, it works. However, if I change the soundoutput back to the speakers it doesen´t work. Is there a solution for that? Christoph

I recently update Pilot2Atc to version 2.4.0.6_x64_b It seems to have installed itself in a folder inside the installation folder for the original version 2.0. So it's in D:...\Pilot2ATC_200\Pilot2ATC_2016_x64. Is this the correct location? I'm concerned because the program is not working properly. After I get clearance for takeoff, I get no further ATC control, except occasionally one authorization to increase altitude, until I land at some other location, then suddenly I start getting ATC commands. But during the flight there are no altitude commands, no frequency changes, etc. If do change the frequency manually, I get a command to revert to the towe…

I recently installed P3D v4 in addition to FSX,and updated Pilot2ATC to work with P3D. All was working well. Today I installed 2x 8Gb RAM to replace the previous 2 x 4 GB RAM because of out of memory problems with P3D. When I try to load P2ATC, I now get a message - 'Invalid licence (invalid hardware ID). I am using the software on the same PC. Can you help? Thanks

Hi I have noticed that the Phraseology used in P2ATC is "American". Much of the Phraseology used in the program is very different over here in Europe. Is it possible to adjust the Phraseology to better match European ATC? Phill Morgan

Hello Dave - Pilot2ATC 2018 v2.4.0.5_x64 - Configuration / ATC chatter : The sound volume of the ATC chatter is really low compared to that of A2A. Would it be possible to have a higher volume for the ATC chatter or better a slide cursor setting for the volume of the ATC Chatter in the configuration window ?

Haven't seen this reported by anyone else, but when I try to contact KLAS Clearance Delivery on 118.0 I get a commercial radio station that is on constantly and I can't turn it off unless I change frequency. If I try Ground or Tower it always asks me to say again. I double checked the frequency with SkyVector so 118.0 is good. Any ideas? I do have ATC Chatter installed and I did turn it off.

Hi.. since upgrading to the 64 bit version of Pilot2ATC my installed AT&T TTS voices are no longer recognised by Pilot2ATC. I'm running Windows 10. Any ideas why this would be the case? Thanks
