Hi, When I use the Grammar window and run through the practice, whatever I say is correctly shown in green after the "Full Txt:" prompt, however, when I use the PTT button on the application and speak into the mic, there is absolutely no response. My general setup seems to be fine, speech in windows is set to en-US, mic i'm using is set to default, and when i use basic apps like Voice Recorder, I am able to record and play back my voice. Could you please let me know if there is any other setup that I should check to be able to get the program to correctly pickup what I'm saying? Hi Dave! First of all, thanks for an excellent product and for your superb support!. Please allow me to submit a request: I'd like to have the option to request a change of flight level by typing it, instead of verbally requesting it, since I don't have the time to "train" P2A to understand my non native English tongue. Same goes for all communication that requires speech, I'd like to be able to communicate using only the keyboard. I don't know if it is feasible to implement this feature in an upcoming update, but I think it would be nice to have. Thanks again. Vassilis

I think that it is quite a useful feature if a flight gets interrupted due to e.g. a crash of the sim. On the other hand, one can argue that you can't reproduce the flight accurately enough in sim to return to the saved ATC situation. Probably it would only make sense if the flight status is also saved together with the ATC. Wondering if this is a feature you are considering.

Hi Dan, I added the ATC-Chatter from X-ATC but still missing some German ATC. So I want to add files from Pro-ATC. I found another topic in which you explain how to add it - but I still don't understand: My Pro-ATC gives me different folders for each country: DE, CH, ES, FR, NL, UK, USA - in there are the aiport-codes or one global folder. So if I use the airport-setting I guess Pilot2ATC won't play chatter at an aiport that is not listed in my folder, right? So do I have to choose the country setting? Thank you! Tim

Hello. I have a FSX dual by flight sounds with the push to talk button for both pilot and copilot. Is it possible to get this to work with the PTT feature within Pilot2ATC? If so how? ~Mark

Hello, I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong I have xpuipc with wideclient. I'm running wide client on the client pc with the correct ip address in the config and my XPUIPC Version 1.0.2.3 ini file has the correct server address. I followed the P2ATC installation instructions for a networked PC for the basic setup. I start pilot2atc then wide client or vice versa but nothing happens when I click connect. Where am I going wrong? I know I'm missing something. XPWideclient says its connected to XP but pilot2ATC doesn't seem to connect when I click connect. I'm trying the trial version, does that matter? I believe it was the private network firewall within windows 10 …

Hi Dave, Just a general question here. Sometimes i like recreating real world flights...for instance this one from flight aware: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/JBU485/history/20180218/1505Z/KROC/KJFK This flight is generally a direct SID to Star to Approach flight. All of the Stars though route you to the east of JFK inbound and there does not seem to be any way to come in like the route above shows. Presumably, the real flight came in on the IGN Star, and was routed to the west via ATC or something. Anyway, how would i recreate that route in p2atc or get ATC to direct me in via that same path? Would i have to enter in the star's way point…

I’m on the 10 day trial and attempting to fly VFR with no flight plan from on airport to another. Is this possible? When I approach the destination airport, I attempt to contact approach but can’t seem to get permission to land. It could totally be my syntax, I know. Tips? Also, I was directed by ground to taxi to a runway and hold short on another. Another plane took off on that runway, but ground never let me cross. Was I supposed to ask something?

HI All, I'm loving the Pilot2ATC program but unfortunately my USB Asus Styrix headset does not like to talk to it, it cuts out in the middle of comms, I'm positive it's something with the headset as any other mic I try works perfectly fine. So instead of using a crappy desktop mic but I figure I should just drop the $ on a new headset but before I do I'm wondering what do you all use that works great with P2A? I'd like to go with a wireless headset, so I can keep an ear on the simulation while I step out on the wing and have a smoke or swing by the galley to grab some over priced peanuts. So for other users of P2A what headset do you use? Dave

Hi, Every time I start up p2atc for the first time in a day or so, it always starts up with a black blank map and waypoint area of the window. If after it starts up, i exit the app and start it again, it comes up like it should with the map and default entries in the waypoint area. I've attached a screen shot of the way it starts the first time with black areas. It's been doing this for a while (several versions). At the moment I am trying Pilot2Atc and would really like to buy it because it has a lot of potential. However, I have encountered several problems during my testing phase, that would prevent me from making a purchase if I can't solve them. After creating an IFR-Flightplan and during the preparation for the flight, everythings looks fine. I get my flightplan clearance, the allowance to pushback and taxi to the runway works fine. The I ask for the departure and get the allowance to takeoff. My readback was correct too. A couple of seconds while taxiing onto the runway, P2A tells me, that I was NOT allowed to takeoff. Hello, Since the update from 2.04.04 the speech assistent is blanc. I'am connected to x-plane 11.20. I have updated to 2.04.05

Ive had to revert to older p2atc version several times now. exported to x11 fmc isnt showing waypoints on some routes. when i revert to pre 2.4 the exported plans are perfect. testing with eclipse 500 have also had problem with new rwdesign twin otter. fmc's look os but are slightly off kilter with p2atc map and approaches or angled, instead of direct. ws hoping to see fix here. maybe im not lookign closely enough. have all 1802 nav installed native, 430 and p2atc download.

Hi, I had the demo of Pilot2ATC, but just uninstalled it because it wasn't working correctly. Someone suggested I post here as I might get the help I need. My issue is Pilot2ATC works perfectly for about 10 minutes, and then just stops listening to my voice commands. If I manually select a command and click "Sayit", Pilot2atc will suddenly load all the commands I'd been saying, answers them all, then continues to work fine for another 10 minutes or so, then stops again. Its like the recognition engine hangs, and manually using say-it unhangs it for a while, until it hangs again. My 10 day trial has expired so I can't do any more testing, but hopefully …

X Plane and just setting up Pilot2ATC. my question: to Keep Pilot2ATC showing, do we have to keep the sim in "window mode" ? Know there is a "keep on top button". but in "full screen " it disappears whenever I click on anything and I know I can hit the "windows" button on the keyboard to bring it back up. but jut would like to keep it visable thanks Denis

Hi, I have a problem, I think, with the Copilot Option. When I check the « Respond to Radios » option the « Changes Frequencies » automatically gets checked. Is this a normal condition? I would like to have the Copilot only do the read back. I would like to manually change the frequency. Version 2.4.0.4_x64 on Windows 10 and X-Plane 11.10

I haven't narrowed it down to a definite repeatable and reproducible problem but there are times that the automatic Freq. Change gets "stuck." Symptoms include the labels for the secondary (STBY) freq. being wrong and odd rounding of 5s. ie 128.625 = 128.62. This particular issue is not huge but is included in case it's related. Sometimes the Com1 Freq. is very similar to the STBY freq. and appears to be "equal". Is there something I can implement like an update to XPUIPC to help with this?

Running the latest P3D in Xplane 11. ATc keeps clearing me to the same altitude every few minutes. Suspect it's not reading the altitude from Xplane correctly? GS in Pilot2ATC is shown as 0.

This latest version of P2A will not connect to XP11. I've also had issues loading flight plans created by SimBrief and converted to the .FMS format loading in P2A. I get this line in the log when I try to import one of these flight plans. "Error in FltPlan ImportFromXPlaneFMSFile System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection." I've been able to load a flight plan created from PFPX though. I've never run into this before.
