Hello, I'm not able to get P2A to recognize my voice input. I'm running P2A with administrative rights. Windows is recognizing my voice without any issues though, I can dictate a letter in Microsoft Word without any problems. But when I hit Practice in the P2A Grammar Helper and then hold the PTT button the application is not recognizing the input and I get the Full Txt: in the Practice Speech field. I do get the Speech Recognition Information screen and everything is looking good (see attached sreenshot). Even the phrase "Say Altimiter" is not being caught. Hi Dave, I'm using Ultimate Traffic Live now and when I exit the runway and request "taxi to gate", I select the gate given by P2ATC for GSX. I get a message that the gate is occupied. I find that when using Ultimate Traffic Live most of the gates are occupied which is undoubtedly part of the problem. P2ATC doesn't seem to see these gates as occupied. Any work around for this? Again, not a big problem. I find an empty gate and give that to GSX. It is nice to have the P2ATC taxi guide though and I can request a 'follow me' vehicle but I would rather not. Great program and the best ATC add-on out there. Bill

Hi Dave, I'm using the latest build 2.3.1.2 and keep getting a freeze in the application. I cannot complete a flight (random freeze). Any logs I could send to help find the problem? Also, importing PFPX flight plans does not work. I have to use the FlightAware import (even though the flight plan is generated by PFPX).

Good day folks, I am a bit new and ready to purchase the program. However there are a few things I am concerned about before I put out the money! First I would like to say this is one of the best ATC options that I have found out there, Bar None! The flight planer is awesome. The SayIt feature is real nice to have. what does pilot2atc use for airport database? i had the trial a while back, but stopped using it as i found a few smaller airports that i use missing in p2atc. cheers

Hi, After having a ton of problems with getting a response from P2ATC I finally tried just completely reinstalling from scratch and now I have a new problem...even though I completely uninstalled the original and reinstalled a newly downloaded full copy to the same location on the same pc, when I try to enter my purchased registration key I get the following error: "A license key can only be activated once for any PC and on a minimum of 1 PC" ..... so I guess I need a new key now too? Hello everybody, first of all, I would like to say that Pilot2ATC is a really very good ATC program, and I'm really excited about it. Thanks a lot for this. But, i have 2 questions though. First: If I always want to start with a SID on a flight and always want to be directed to the runway via vectors. How do I have to set this in Pilot2ATC? Second: I have ATC Background Chatter Files installed, that sounds very good, but how can I turn the volume down. Somehow this does not work for me. Best regards Reiner

I've just been trying to enter the following IFR route directly into the flightplan window. KJFK RBV J230 BYRDD J48 FLASK KATL After clicking the RBV VOR and selecting Load Airway, then selecting J230/BYRDD, it never appears in either the flightplan window or the map display. No errors anywhere and nothing in the logs. I used FP Import to import the route string directly and that seemed to work fine. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using AIRAC 1712 on v2.3.1.1 Thanks

Absolutely love them program, great work. However, I keep getting traffic alerts no mater what frequency I am on. Is there a setting that I am missing. I see there is a setting to turn them off and on completely. If enabled, I will get them on VFR flights even without a flight following request and despite what frequency I am on.

I'm not sure if I'm just going blind, but after landing (and still on Tower frequency) where is the "clear of active" phrase in the SayIt list? I can't seem to spot it anywhere. It works fine with speech recognition but I'm generally using SayIt in most of my flights.

Hi, I have 8 Cepstral voices and after entering the 4th voice in Config/Voices it will not test, no sound. Same with the next 4 Cepstral voices, no sound. Log file shows normal test. I confirmed it on my second licensed computer, same issue. No problems with Microsoft David and Zira or CereVoice Adam, Hannah and Natan. Running V2.3.1.2 on Win 10 64 Martin

I'm flying the following route: SBGR IG EGDUP SUMRA ROMIB DORLU KEVUN ILTIT NEPEV CIDER 27S030W 29S020W 30S010W 30S000E 30S010E UVGOD NIBEX FAOR but out over the ocean my position on the P2ATC map is off against the flight plan track by about 15NM (south of the planned route). The FMC in X-Plane (FF 767) shows I'm perfectly on track. Any ideas why this is? I've bodged it by setting the Allowed Course Deviation to 20NM, but obviously this isn't a fix.

Evening everyone, So I recently purchased FS Global Real Weather and to be honest i don't really like the whole integration process. I like everything to be seamless and work in the background like ActiveSky. With FS global Real Weather you have to start the program then run the weather then start the sim then inject the weather, Yea not for me. So my question is, if I just use the normal default weather download from with in Xplane 11 and then I choose Noaa weather option for pilot2atc will there be a difference between the two programs? so will pilot2atc atis read out the same atis as the sim? or will there be a big difference? forgot to mention that I am also using sky…

I have a problem in that the program randomly crashes nearly every flight. Can someone give me any help. I am using Xplane 11.05 with a gtx 1060.

I have the config in P2ATC set to "sim weather" and my XP-11 root folder selected correctly. I've checked the root folder and whenever I change the weather in the sim (manually or download real-world) there is a new METAR file being generated. When I look at the weather at my location in P2ATC is doesn't match that shown in XP-11 however. The wind speed and direction are different, as is the temp and visibility. I can't work out where P2ATC is getting it's weather from. It appears to be reading a METAR file but it's not matching what's programmed in the sim. Any ideas?

Dave, You get a lot of problem posts and requests for info and how-to's. I wanted to give you a Thank You post. You are hands down one of the best software developers I've ever dealt with. You're kind, courteous and will go out of your way to help out even a single customer. You know all the problems I've had with my personal system and worked closely with me to try and crush them. That Airway one was a tough bugger but you've managed to crush all those problem with your rapid update cycling. I noticed that when i creat a flightplan and add a destination runway the tod arrow disappears.Not so if I only add a star. Is this normal ?

Hi Dave anyway that the tick box can stay ticked in the flt plan tab, ATC Ignores Bearing Based Altitudes box. Have to tick this entry everytime I fly, yes, we use evens South and odds North and is a little pain

Just installed latest version and get error message about cannot load database! Program then loads but will do nothing else. Help! "unable to initialize database the underlying provider failed to open cannot open database "B:\PILOT2ATC_200\DATA\P2ADYNAMICDATA.MDF" requested by the login the login failed login failed for user 'DESKTOP-etc etc.

Hi, I'm a new user to P2ATC on X-Plane 11 so apologies if this has already been answered somewhere. On longer flights I often set a "Pause at TOD" option in the FMC if the aircraft has one, or else I use the excellent AutoPause plugin to pause the sim some distance from TOD so I don't have to sit watching the screen in cruise for 4 hours. How does this fit in with P2ATC and are there any recommendations on how best to configure things to work this way? So far I've just noted the TOD distance in Pilot2ATC and set AutoPause accordingly to give me enough time to prepare for descent. Hello folks, I have a couple of basic questions on what to expect during a flight. 1. So I set up my IFR flight plan, validate it, file it and off I go. On route I get various messages telling me to do various things, so far so good. What I wanted to ask is what happens near the destination. Should the system guide me in to line up with the active runway, or is there something I have to manually do myself? A couple of times I seem to just sail on by... 2.
