I just wanted to say what a fantastic program Pilot2ATC is. I have simultaneously doubled my workload, information and things to do in the airplane, and at the same time halving the effort required to do so. I always wanted a decent ATC since FSX days, and only recently heard about Pilot2ATC. So far it has far surpassed anything I even thought possible, it's almost criminal I have not heard about it before. I'm a long time flight simmer, but an infrequent one (too many other interests!). I'm currently testing Pilot2Atc. It looks very good, but I have som newbie issues - perhaps related to FF 767. I can't switch to COM1. COM2 works fine, but if I try to switch to COM1, it automatically returns to COM2. Also - if I change the altimeter - it changes back to the original content. If the change the altimeter in the a/c, it is reflected in Pilot2atc. I have tested with another aircraft without any issues. I have one other issues I'm struggling with - perhaps it is related. Hello after latest update i have problems with atc not reacting to my speech. Grmr help is working when im practice talking but, not the atc when im flying. Any tips here guys??

I'm having several problems which I did not have before. First one: 1. Open Pilot2ATC and connect to sim 2. Click IFR 3. Enter waypoint KPVD 4. Enter waypoint KMVY 5. Click Auto Plan The "blue spinning wheel" appears and nothing happens. And yes I did wait a while. Second One: When I click on ?+ it used to give me the option to fill in values......now it doesn't. I have done a complete uninstall and reinstall and I still get these errors. Thanks.

Hi, i used at&t natural voices with pilot2atc 2.3x. in 2.4.0.2_x64 they disappeared from the selection box. reinstallation doesn´t help. help needed. Ralf

Was doing some touch and goes and after the 3rd or 4th touch and go, it was like they forgot about me. So I continued to do some touch and goes, then all of a sudden they kept clearing me to do touch and goes. Must have been about 5 or 6 consecutive calls clearing me for a touch and go. After that things went back to normal. Kind of odd. Also, when I clear the runway, I'm never told to contact ground. So I try and contact ground on my own, but no answer.

I tried a midfield takeoff yesterday from YBCS (Cairns). I got to the midfield - and ATC contacted me and gave me instructions for a midfield takeoff. Then told me to line up and wait. Which I did - but I never got clearance to takeoff. I contacted Tower and they just repeated (in what I thought was an impatient voice) just to wait. To get to the actual end of the runway I would have had to back taxi down the main strip and it was a fair way. And I had already been given instructions to line up and wait. In the end I gave up and just took off, but ATC just ignored me after that. I am guessing the aircraft did not get near a magic 'mid field' marker so did n…

I am a new Pilot2ATC user (10 day trial). I have a beginner question. When I created a Flight Plan between two airports, Pilot2ATC draws a white line between them, but it also draws a magenta line from the last airport to “nowhere”. What is this magenta line?

When I enter a lot of routes these days, Pilot2ATC seems to be generating a bunch of weird phantom waypoints. This does not seem to happen when I use the default Navigraph database included with the produce, but if I update to the latest Navigraph AIRAC it start happening. I was experiencing this in the previous release, so when I saw the new v2.4.0.1 release x64 I wanted to wait until I could reproduce it. It is still happening in the new version as well. Is there or will there be a formal location to share Airports?

Hello folks, I am looking for some advice around what I should be asking ATC for during approach and landing... also when I should be requesting it. The preflight, taxi, take off , cruise part I am OK with... it is just what I need to be doing and when during landing, VFR and IFR flights... I seem to make a right mess of things....any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks...

First - I'm have not even installed Pilot2Act. Secondly I'm quite new to X-plane. So give me a chance :-) I have spent many hours flying FF 767 using X-plane 11. Now time has come to meet a new challenge - the ATC. I spend a lot of time looking at different products (eg. 124thatcv2), but have have decided to go for Pilot2Atc - even though I expect the learning curve to be steep. One issue that confuses me is the need for syncronizing the flight plan i Pilot2Atc and the FMC. I some blogs people complains, that the FMC does not import SiD and Stars. I assume, that they require the detailed flight plan of the ATC and the FMD to be identical. Is that preferred? …

Any news on this Dave? Should we still disable CereProc voices when using P2A?

I have recently been having an issue where Pilot2ATC becomes unresponsive. I had read that some people fixed this by choosing to get weather from the SIM instead of from NOAA so I tried that and it is still becoming unresponsive and shutting down. Is there anything I can try or anything I can attach to this to help figure out why it is doing this?? I really like the product.

Using X-Plane 11.10 and Pilot2ATC v2.4 x64 will not connect, click on connect and nothing happens? Previous version 2.3.1.2 was fine. Lee

I am having a real problem with P2A in that when I click anywhere on it, FSX:SE goes away and I can't get it back. I can click on the task bar and sometimes it comes back and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the time it doesn't. So I followed DrumsArt's advice and unticked the second option in the FSX General Parameters menu "pause on task switch", and in the FSX.cfg file the parameter is "PAUSE_ON_LOST_FOCUS =0" as instructed in his post. I don't know if this is a problem because I am using FSX:SE. The Steam FSXSEConfig is an EXE so I cannot access that file. The only fsx.cfg file I can access is C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. My FSX:SE is located on…

Hi Dave I'm using P2A version 2.4.0.1 x64 and P3D v4.1 Inspired by your latest VFR Pattern video I thought I would try touch and go's at Bristol EGGD as it has a Tower Freq. All communications works very well with no problems and P2A recognised every thing I said. During taxi to Rwy 09 I asked to cross 09 from the GA parking via 'D' to Z then G. I got clearance to cross Rwy 09 but with a 737 just feet away to my left on the runway. Later during the touch and go on Rwy 09 I was given clearance to T&G with a AI aircraft on 5 miles final and a AI aircraft just landing, so on the runway. Hello Dave, I'm trying to change a taxi route I'm given after taxi clearance because this route is incorrect. But I'm struggling for some time now, I just can't figure out how to make this work. I read the chapter in the manual and looked at your tutorial about Taxiway Maintenance - KEGE on the web site. But I only create a complete mess when I'm trying to change the route. The taxi route I want to change is at EHAM, I'm parked at gate D52 and want to taxi to runway 24, the program gives me a route which is not allowed. hello, Is it possible to get pilot2atc tellīng me where to go if i don't use the nav mode ?

Was doing a flight from YGTE to YTVL cruising at FL100. Near TOD I was repeatedly told to descend to 1900'. Many times, with expedite, etc. This was over mountains and 1900' was not viable - I was also about 100nm from the airport! I tried to get a manual clearance down to 4000', but was told by P2A that the MSA was 5500'. Which was correct for the area. So P2A knew that it should not have given a 1900' clearance. Anyway, I simply ignored the whole thing and dropped to 7000' for another 50nm then things went back to normal, good approach and landing ok. Not sure what happened there - perhaps a one of and can be ignored? I mention it for information only.

I use a button on my CH Eclipse yoke (Button 1) for the P2A PTT function. This usually works ok. I have found a situation where if you do not have the CH Yoke turned on when you fire up P2A then there is a problem. P2A does not see the PTT button correctly. I can go into the Config screen, then the Btns screen. It is shown there that P2A is using the CH Yoke and Btn 1 as it should. I can open the Set screen to reset the button - when it comes up, it displays the CH Yoke Btn 24 as the set button - which is not what was on the first screen. I press Button 1 on the yoke and P2A sees it and sets the Btn to 1. So P2A certainly sees my yoke and the button press. I Save the…

Not sure if this is a one of.... but today when I fired up P2A and XP 11, the chatter files were coming out of the main speaker system - the default system speakers, I guess. I have setup in Config that P2A is to use my headset. As soon as I set COM1 to get a clearance, the chatter files then came out of the headset as per normal. Not a big deal - just mentioned this in case it is a bug and you are sitting around idly wondering what to do.

Dave, I have been reading posts on the forum and watching several of your videos on YouTube. I'm pretty much new to the ATC thing. This seems to be a fantastic program. I have a couple of questions before I take the plunge. I am currently using Radar Contact. It's ok, but is lacking many things P2A has. But I only fly GA airplanes. Mostly Beechcraft and the like. I'm concerned because I really enjoy using the Garmin GTN 750. I currently use LittleNavMap as it will save my flight plan in .gfp so I can upload it to the GTN 750. Hello, I have generated a flight plan with PFPX, it contains the following route: EHAM -> EBBR Takeoff: runway 24, SID: KUDA1S Landing: runway 25R, STAR: WODY7A I tried it in version 2.3.1.2 and in version 2.4.0.1, using AIRAC cycle 1713. When I import the flightplan with the 'Impt' button and file the flightplan, no SID and STAR is loaded. Is this correct? The options 'ATC Assigns SIDs' and 'ATC Assigns STARs' are unchecked. The option 'Force Pilot Runway Selection' is checked. I was expecting that the SID and STAR would be loaded as well. Or should I manually specify those after I import the flightplan?
