The AI Aircraft do not often show on moving map, I think I have the right setting but no red triangles are visible with no proximity warnings.

I've exported a flight plan from pilot2atc into the xplane\output\fms plans directory. I'm running the latest xplane 11 beta 9, and for the life of me i can't figure out how to load the flight plan into the DEFAULT 737-800 FMC. I've searched the internet for hours, and have come up empty. Thanks, Joe

Hi Dave, First, thank you for this amazing addon. Just got done installing voice packs and configuring radio effects and I think I'm in love. Anyways, I'm using P2ATC in combination with World Traffic 3 and am having an issue where both programs are assigning different active runways. For instance, last night at EGCC, P2ATC was sending me to 23R, while WT3 was taking off/landing on 05L. Winds were light and variable. My question is, what is P2ATC using to determine active runway if winds are light- is it reading the XP11 .apt file, or does it have it's own database it is accessing? I know integration is coming in the future with WT3, but was just wondering …

Hello, I love P2A2, butI cannot get it to connect to any weather at all. Using P3Dv4 or FSXSE, I select NOAA weather with the radio button selected in the Config. or Active Sky while Active Sky is on with the path selected in the Config., the ATIS voice always says "Weather is not available at K___". How do I get P2A to connect with the weather? I appreciate your help. Thank you, Bob

I updated P2A to 2.3.1.0 but now it doesn't detect my PTT or SayIT key presses (they are set in the config). If i press PTT with the mouse it works but not if i press Q on the keyboard, which is the key i set for PTT (same for the SayIt key). It worked ok before the update (I had version 2.2.2.1 before). Why is this? Thanks. Edit: Also updated X-Plane from 11.05 to 11.10B3 but i guess that has nothing to do with the problem.

Hi Dave, If flying patterns, it would be great to get the altimeter as QFE rather than QNH. As P2A knows the height of the airfield you're at, could a QFE reporting option (maybe a config checkbox) be added? Whilst I don't believe the sims report QFE, this could be derived: QNH + (aerodrome AMSL / 30). Additionally, the ability to report QNH/QFE in either hPa or inHg (maybe again with a checkbox option) would be great. Again if it's not presented directly by the sim, if memory serves me, it's 1 inHg = 33.8639 hPa. Thanks Karl

Hi Dave, I noticed Pilot2ATC is reading the airport frequencies from the default apt.dat instead of the apt.dat in the scenery folder in custom scenery. I noticed this because I added an ATIS frequency to the apt.dat (on custom scenery folder) of a scenery which didn't have it. X-Plane 11 now plays the ATIS but P2A doesn't recognize it because it's reading the ATIS from the default apt.dat file. I also updated the APP frequencies to match the actual real world frequencies but it doesn't recognize them either because it's reading the wrong one from the default apt.dat. Hi, since updating X Plane to 11.10r3 the autopilot seems to have gone a bit odd. I cannot get the altitude button to switch off and the VS button does not operate as before. I could set the VS to say -800 for the TOD and clicking the vs button would activate that descent speed, now I have to keep pressing the minus key and keep resetting the VS button to eventually get the descent I need. Anyone else with this problem?

I get this error message in Xplane 11 on startup, I don't think it matters but where is the file I need to change to get rid of it. I have managed it before but have a memory like a sieve!

How do you turn off just the ATC? I was trying to do a flight on PilotEdge tonight but I wanted to keep Pilot2ATC up for the flight planning and moving map. I went into config and cleared the Push-To-Talk button (it said disabled), but it still kept responding to my voice commands. I had to shut it down and continue my flight without it.

Windows 7 64 Ultimate, X-plane 11.05. P2A test license. I am trying P2A and have setup and microphone that works ok in the Grammar Helper. It understands what I am saying. But after filing a plane things do not work. If I press Say It "Beach 31 ready to copy" a voice is saying it but no reply from ATC. Text comes back in Green. Nothing happens at all but.... A couple of questions about Pilot2ATC and VFR flight following...... Once established with flight following, and in route to the destination, will the controller in Pilot2ATC hand you off to approach or tower, or are you expected to cancel flight following and contact them yourself? Distance wise, when should either of those things happen? I've tried a couple of VFR flight following flights(KPVD KMVY), and was expecting a handoff as I approached within 20-30 miles of the destination airport, but didn't hear anything. I'm testing (trial license) P2A and have problems with more voices. Anna the default do work in P2A. There seems that there are a couple transitions missing on the STARS. One is the OLM2 STAR to KSEA. The OLM transition doesn't appear on the drop down menu, also the HHOOD transition on the HHOOD3 STAR to KPDX does not appear either. They both appear on the map when I load the STARS but I have to select the transitions before them. They were there on the previous versions, Thanks James

Maybe i read over a thread containing this bbut still i got one question. Does P2A in anyway interacts with AI Traffic other then giving me instructions to not crash into them? I know that P2A cant control the AI Traffic, but does it "assume" what the AI Traffic is going to do and have a talk between AI Traffic and ATC like PF3 for example? And if not is it planned? Hey ya Dave, With World Traffic 3 on the scene finally I've been a busy beaver fixing airport after airport that have the worst or completely missing taxi networks. This is like UNFORGIVABLE to me that so many PAYWARE airports are missing this basic data that's been around since 10.51. I've become an expert at crafting WT3 taxi and gate networks and programming airport operations files. The import function in PIlot2ATC is working like a champ except for two big things that I hope you can add/fix with a future patch. Hi I am running X-plane 11.10b3 and i have just installed the pilot2atc v. 2.3.0.1 airac 1705 cause i wanted to try the trial version before i bye. But unfortunately i cant get it to work over the network on a client pc. X-plane 11.10b3 is running in my main pc, witch XUIPC V. XPUIPC Version 1.0.2.3 and XPWideClient Version 2.0.0.0. I have set XUIPC config to my main pc´s IP addres 10.0.1.23 and XPWideClient IP Address of THIS PC = 10.0.1.23, IP Address of server = 10.0.1.81. I can connect to XCUIPC local with eg. G-plan installed on the main pc. works just fine but i cant get it to work on the client where i have installed pilot2atc or plan…

I have xplane11, i dont see vatsim or ivao traffic even clicking on traffic icon., and is it fontionnal with touchscreen.

I used to use with P3D now Xplane user and I cannot get a clearence. However, if I stay connected while flying I get traffic warnings. I am lost to the issue. Should it be on comm 1 or 2, if I switch 1 1 it goes back to 2. Using the JAR330.

I recently updated Pilot2ATC to the latest version. When I arrive at the airport and contact ground I use to be able to ask Ground for Taxi to the Gate instructions. Now I get a response from ATC claiming no gates available. If this is just something new I need to do just tell me and I'll read the manual. I have to admit I just installed the update and didn't bother reading the release notes. Mark
